Maidenhead retained list:

GKs: none

DF: Manny Parry, Alan Massey, Remy Clerima, George Wells, Ryheem Sheckleford

MF: Shaun Donnellan, Sam Barratt, Dan Sparkes, Ryan Upward, Josh Smile, Bradley Keetch, Reece Smith, Kane Ferdinand (new signing)

FW: Nathan Blissett, Josh Kelly

Out:
Josh Coley (Exeter, U23 so tribunal fee)
Danilo Orsi-Dadomo (Harrogate, turned down new deal)
Rohan Ince (Woking)
Seth Twumasi (Dover)
James Comley (released, seemingly as Devonshire is fed up with him going on international duty, would be a good signing for anyone at this level. Seems like Ince was let go for the same reason too)
Jerry Wiltshire (released, squad player but also goes on int'l duty a lot)

We have work to do in the summer then signings wise, great work to retain Barratt, but I think we have retained a few too many, I'd have let go of both strikers + Smile and Keetch. If we are going to play the 4-4-2 that might suit the Blissett/Kelly partnership then we need some real quality at CM.

Two loanees gone back, contracted Williams and Bennett gone in the last few days with Maynard and Stott likely to follow, Jennings out as he battles cancer and Kitching with a long term injury so it’s not as big as it looks.

Hoping to see 5 or 6 quality signings.
Hopefully all is going well for CJ.

Still mithering the League 2 forum with their demonstrations of the disgraceful standard of education in Greater Manchester, or whatever other urban toilet they exist in.

Aka the Horwich halfwits.

If you'd ever visited our forum you'd know I'm the only one talking sense on there. and even these 2 muppets, in a league table of idiots would only rank around mid-table there. :ds:

There's nothing on our end about this apart from a guy on our forum who is known for talking utter garbage. He claims he's leaving but adamant it's not Southend. Doubt you'll get him cheap should he go. He's vital considering we've lost arguably our best two players already from last season.
No one is irreplaceable, it's a team game.

Surprised Pools are letting Danny Elliott go

Me too, think we had a gentlemen’s agree with Chester over him, we couldn’t get anymore loan players in, so they cancelled his contract we ‘signed him’ on the same deal he was on there and he was always going to leave at the end of it.

Surprised Jackson Jnr is on there, reckon he could be ok at this level. Also surprised no Scannell and less surprised but disappointed no Waterfall.

I don't know what you mean - Waterfall (OG) could be right up there on your goalscorers list again this season....

Waterfall and Pearson to rotate, I'm telling you. Waterfall will be fine down here if paired with someone with a bit of pace. He still got his head on everything last year. Just needs a few decent performances to build confidence back up I reckon. Him and Pollock were so jittery in the box last season, that needs to be fixed if he's coming back into the fold, admittedly.

Absolutely bowled over that Scannell is not on that list though, calling that right now as a mistake from PH. Has this list been confirmed by the club yet?

Hyde's leaving to join us too
He's on a contract, you'll need our permission to approach him, you won't get that unless you're offering US silly money- at least £100k before you start talking to him and we'd be happy to take that. :£

Yep. I wouldn't be surprised if we now went in for him. We do need another striker and I doubt he could expect a massive wage either given he hasnt proved himself at this level.

A move that could work out for both parties. If we develop him into a player who can step up again I.e Earing.

When we brought him, Ira Jackson Jr and Sisaay in Holloway said they were on less combined than Harry Cardwell and Ahkeem Rose who left the club and wouldn't have been on much so yeah you're more than likely right there in that Gibson won't command massive wages. Tbh though, Jackson Jr is probably the one out of those two you should be going for.

Poor lad was trying to mark Mahrez on his international debut.
Just realised that was the game when Mahrez scored that goal when he brought the ball down from a long pass with one of the most obscenely amazing first touches I've ever seen before turning two defenders inside out twice in the box. Not sure if he was one of those two defenders or not?

He was indeed, he’s a left back so was directly on Mahrez. The Zimbabwean public was not impressed.

Had a funny season, Ardley took him on trial then signed him last summer before deciding that he absolutely hated him and trying to loan him out before he’d even played a game for us. Then he only ever turned up in the FA Trophy. Resurfaced when Burchnall took over and started pretty much every game from then on.

Wait, so you've got him on one side of your defence and that absolutely radge angry little right back you were telling me about on the otherside? Was it Kelly-Evans? Sounds like a fun defence that!

Yeah, although we’ve turned Chicksen into a centre back in a three now. He gave a really good interview a few weeks back, was without a club for a year I think before signing for us, got an interesting back story.

Kelly-Evans hasn’t signed a new deal yet and we seem to have decided to try and throw our entire budget at Hartlepool’s right back, so could see him going to a League Two team. Which would be a shame, the angry little bastard.

Our defence is quite good on paper but I don’t think Burchnall actually believes in defending at all, they’re going to be in for a long season.

So here we are the 1st of July the date all our fans say wait patiently for. Absolute stone dead silence from the club.

Releasing details on season ticket details on the 5th. Good luck trying to flog them to the same people they treat with such apathy..

Full time club. Part time mentality and communication.

Frustrating but just used to it by now. We will cobble a squad together last minute as usual. I'd be massively surprised if we don't hear any news by the 5th. Even if it's just about the 5 out of contract players.

Jacob Mendy Mendy has been sold to Boreham Wood, after they triggered his release clause. Dagenham were also in for him, probably as he was offered a substantial wage increase he chose the Wood.

Been a star player for us over the last two seasons since he joined from Carshalton two seasons ago.

Wholly one footed may be the reason he hasn’t gone higher as many expected.

Reserve keeper Jake Askew is off to warm the bench at Barnet.
