We're up to a squad of 22 now (but 4 of them are first or second year pros which apparently don't count ).

I'm still expecting another centre half and a striker to come in (young loanees from the EFL probably) and maybe a couple our kids to be loaned out.

Thankfully there's no window in non-league, but yes we will struggle this season.

Looking at our squad we are slightly weaker than last season I'd say. We haven't really replaced Jeff Kings attacking threat down the right. We've replaced Neill Byrne and Nathan Clarke with two young, unproven players at this level in Debrah and Warren. There is talk David Wheater is training with us so maybe something could materialise there to address that issue. I do think Warburton and Gilmour are solid replacements for Earing. I'll give Wild that.

The thing that stands out most is a lack of a proven goalscorer. We have effectively replaced Hyde with Gerry McDonagh (gulp) However, Wild has confirmed he's after one more signing and the number 9 shirt has been left unallocated so there could be something lined up.

It sounds like we are saving the transfer fees gained from Earing, Byrne and Hyde for later on in the season as and when we need to bolster the squad due to the current market being extortionate.

If I was a betting man, I'd put us anywhere between 12th and 18th as it stands.
