Fylde 1-1 Chester

Proper grudge match, neither of us can stand each other, especially after how they behaved a few months ago in the reverse fixture.

Second half was delayed because the ref wasn't happy our fans were in the walkways too close to the goal and then the game was stopped for 20 minutes after things got heated after he failed to award us a pen, resulting in some minor scuffling. They debated abandoning it but eventually carried on. In all truth they just couldn't handle the number of away fans in that small terrace and employed some doormen as stewards who were rubbish and should be nowhere near stewarding a football match.

Probably a fair result but I thought we looked better than them on the day.

You know what, I was impressed with Chester. Look like an extremely young side but knocked the ball about well. Little lad in the middle of the park was class. Can see why you’re on such a good unbeaten run. Cracking game to be fair.

Thanks for the compliment, but you are not our favourite opponents after what happened at the home match and the disgusting behaviour of your chairman after our youth team knocked you out of the youth cup on pens.
Thankfully justice was done and we comfortably won the rematch after your chairman ordered the FA to grant a rematch. Unbelievable.

I could say the same to you after the way your fans behaved this wkd but thankfully I’m an adult and not a little kid that gets upset about these things

The wind ruined this one. First half an hour was really scrappy, after that Darlo passed the ball well but didn't do a lot with it, and we spent the second half lumping it into the wind hoping to turn them on the back foot. The fact that our MOTM was our 41 year old goalkeeper who didn't have to do anything spectacular says everything about the match.

Pretty much agree with your analysis of tonights game.

I think the first half was pretty awful for both sets of supporters, nothing happened it was 45 minutes down the swanee. As you say the wind didn't help we both had to deal with it, first half and second half.

I think the second half we absolutely bombarded yourselves without really testing your keeper. And for me and probably most Darlo fans it was really 3 much needed points gone, any other day we'd have scored 2 or 3, just couldn't find that vital opening.

Credit where it's due it was a good result for Southport.

Poor tonight, did manage to create plenty of chances but absolutely no fluency about us at all. 6th draw in a row and 3rd home added time equaliser in a row. Alfreton aren't the first and won't be the last to attempt insane time wasting tactics and get punished for it late on here this season. A million times more of it this season then I've ever seen oppo ever do here before. Is quite funny seeing them all devastated at the end though, it's only what they all deserve for trying to take the piss.

Haha, give over. Baited by Blackpool bouncers with gum shields in their gobs drafted in for the day. Shouldn't be anywhere near stewarding football matches them lot.

Chorley managed to score one of the many chances they had during this poor game. No wonder Telford are bottom, they really are poor and should have lost by atleast 3 goals, but our bad finishing again!

Fantastic turnaround from Kettering last night. Home form is going to be key in survival, which is just as well as there's still about 80 of those to play thanks to games being called off.

A game of anti-football by the thugs of Alfreton.

Chorley 1-2 Southport

Chorley should have been out of sight at half time, their 1-0 lead with a scabby goal from a corner not being justice for how they played. They won the battles all over the park but were wasteful with their chances. We just didn't turn up.

Something must have been said at half time as we came out of the blocks and went at them. A near post bullet header by Chris Doyle from a corner, and a breakaway goal from Connor Woods, both in the 10 minutes after half time turned the game around. We looked far more competitive, and whilst Chorley still had chances they again didn't take them, with Tony McMillan rolling back the years once again.

Fair play, second half especially we were absolutely superb..new signing Victor Nirennold went straight in, a transfer the fans funded seen as the owners have pulled the plug. Dom McHale is different gravy and ran rings around Park Avenue, final score 5-1. Arguably should have been more.

Unless the news has gone under the radar, we will have a new chairman/owners next season which is the current Hungerford duo. However there's a lot of concern that the Hungerford manager will follow them and that the current City owners will still be involved in having a say on running the club. Patrick Chambers appears to be very pally with our chairman... It's all very toxic at the moment. Fans are all behind Steven King

Fair comments, as per usual we missed chance after chance again and inevitably it cost us all 3 points. McMillan was superb I goal fir Southport belying his 41 years. Preece is taking Chorley backwards sadly.

Two wins in a few days and all of a sudden Kettering are 5 points clear of the drop zone. Hell of a turnaround to be fair.

An interesting day yesterday, Curzon…….pay a fee for a player from Farsley and he bags the winner in a massive 3 points at Alfreton.

Went from very worrying Saturday evening to little bit of breather this morning.

Back on the road last night and managed to take all 3 points at Blyth after initially falling a goal behind, total inconsistency after losing at home on Saturday.

Wasteful with chances ~ sounds like us against Spennymoor on Saturday. After they scored in first half I counted 8 chances to us before h/t ~~ some of them quite easy. Into 3rd month now w/o a win and yet we are still 6th. Only a matter of time before we drop out of play-off positions I fear.

Might be a good time to visit the Walks, we are not playing as well as we did pre-Christmas and have two key players - Clunan and Barrett - out having both received red cards in last Saturdays defeat at Buxton. Still plenty of quality in the squad but we just look at bit disjointed having had a very settled side earlier in the season

I think the amount of games we are all having to play is having effects due to the number of injuries , like yourselves we do have a good squad but as you say it’s getting disjointed with players having to play out of positio.

That player, Spencer, we were after.

Curzon apparently offered more money than us.

What a pumped up bullshit league this is.

Bloody hell, We haven't won a game for over two months and we go to top of the table King's Lynn who have won all but one of their home games and we only take their unbeaten home record. Maybe this'll kick start our season.

Fantastic win today for us, 5 points from and to be unbeaten from our last three away games at Brackley, Fylde and King's Lynn since the turn of the year is excellent. I think all three were top of the league at the time of visiting. Just need to sort the home form out now!

It's a strange league throws up one or two unexpected results each week without fail.

With our topsy turvy results of late we somehow manage to stay in 3rd place.

King's Lynn are beginning to wobble a little bit of late.

Exceptional win, would imagine It'll all change on Tuesday night as 5 clubs out of the top 8 play on that night.

Massive game for Kidderminster against Brackley to climb into a play-off position!

Yeah we don't play on Tuesday but do the next four afterwards.

Bumped in to a fair few of your fans at the services just south of Donny this morning, we took the scenic route, there's no good one cross country to there that's for sure!

I think we have three on a Tuesday over the next 4 or 5 weeks.

I hope they were behaving themselves. I couldn't make today's game with one thing or another, no it's a tricky ould route!
