Any reason why? I don’t think other than the handful of times we’ve played each other, I’ve ever given Stevenage a single thought.

I don't think I've ever heard our fans sing about Charlton until now. Out of context it seems bizarre. A lot of the people visible in the video are actually our players out last night in Stevenage, including Alex Gilbey.

The chant will be related/aimed at Gilbey - seems odd but might have made more sense if we knew the context around it. If I had to guess (and this is a scenario I've just plucked from thin air for what it's worth!) maybe our fans were encouraging him to sign for us permanently and he replied along the lines of still being contracted to yourselves and that chant was the response.

Ok mr binary
There have been many games this season where we should have won but didn't. I'm sure that you, Stocky, Carlisle, Salford and Mansfield supporters can say the same but at the end of the day, we weren't good enough to win those games. That is what happened to you yesterday. Move on like the rest of us have had to do many times.

Conceded in the last minute against Barrow, Swindon, Mansfield and Gillingham - ultimately costing us 7 points.

A win at Crewe on Wednesday and we’d be celebrating going up automatically.

If, but’s and fucking maybes.

Shit happens.

Fair to say any future he may have had at Charlton is now over after that video.

It’s a comment on the game though isn’t it? There’d be no pundits if all you could say was ‘I went today, Bradford scored 2 we scored 1. Move on.’

It’s a forum, you share your thoughts on the days action and who played well etc. Bizarre.

Shout out to the main commentator who mispronounced so many names I half thought he was doing it on purpose, Nevers - ‘Nevay’, Costelloe (like pedalo (he’s not a left back either)) - Costellio, his Spanish cousin maybe.

The Crewe commentary pair were guilty of this as well. Both Lavinier and Mceachran were consistently mispronounced. I think the commentary was from Radio Stoke, and he'd been commentating for 35 years. Surely the minimum preparation you do is to spend a bit of time before the week of the game to get a little bit familiar with the opposition team?

Graham McGarry gets most of our own players names wrong let alone the oppositions. It's hilarious.

I think the Swindon bloke kept calling Fraser Horsfall "Horsfield" a couple of weeks ago

Orient's commentator kept calling our manager "Dave Chandler".

In fairness he did get Hinchliffe's name correct a couple of times, but that was probably by accident rather than design as otherwise he stuck the extraneous 'c' in the middle like most do.

Honestly, this team hasn’t won a game all season against a team in the top 7. That isn’t about to change and I don’t think we can count on winning 2 penalty shootouts.

This is true, so long as you pretend that the 4-1 romp at Salford didn’t happen, and that we didn’t beat Bradford 2-1 either.

If the playoff places stay as they are, we’ve beaten 2 of the 3 other sides on aggregate this season. We’ve won as many games against those playoff rivals as we’ve lost.

Those two weren’t in the top 7 at the time, wise arse. That’s what I meant. Salford were about 10th at the time and Bradford were 8th if I remember right. So no, we haven’t beaten a team that were in the top 7 at the time of playing them. But you probably knew that’s what I meant, you just love to contradict.

Andrew Hawes is generally very good, although he does have a habit of getting players confused. Quite surprised to read about Horsfall/Horsfield, he's usually very good and knowledgeable about visiting teams. I missed that game as in Ireland at a wedding thankfully.

I expect us to give Bradford a decent game on Wednesday. If the game were at Bradford it wouldn't be close, but at home we've been pretty decent. Not lost since we played Orient in early February, and won the last 4 in a row.

“Dulcet” Dave Victor is known equally for his comical name mispronunciations and getting absolutely everything that’s happening in front of his eyes wrong. Luckily the co-comms by Matt Hiscock are generally unbiased and accurate.

Maybe he got confused with one of your players from the early 70's Arthur Horsfield.

As advertised during Blackburn v Luton, our game at Tranmere looks like it’s on the box next Monday. Kill me.

Calm down you nutjob! You said we hadn't beaten a side in the top 7 - you didn't mention anything about the top 7 'at the time'. If you'd said what you meant, I may have understood you.

Either way, we've beaten two of the sides in the playoff places at the moment. Bradford haven't beaten us at all, and Salford wouldn't have had they not borrowed yet another favour from idiotic officials. Only Stockport have outperformed us over the two games, and even they nearly came a cropper at Brunton Park.

It's a playoff season, that's almost certain. We'd have taken that in July, so just enjoy it.

I am, but I want to win. I only enjoy winning, and 2 wins in 10 has been a bit testing on the old enjoyment of late.

But bigger picture, As I’ve said many times, top 3, playoffs, or top 10, it’s been a brilliant season regardless considering the shit fest we were a year ago.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
At least we should have the least pressure of the play off sides.

With their respective budgets Stockport, Bradford and Salford are under enormous pressure to go up since all 3 with the largest budgets in division seem to have flogged automatic promotion from the easiest division to gain automatic promotion from.

We could just do with Patrick getting back to form for just 2-3 games…….when on form he’s one of the best and most
Dangerous in division problem is this season only delivered about two matches.

He had a good 21/22 season for us. Found consistency, stayed injury free. 10 goals from January to May. Big reason we stayed up.

This season he’s been stop start with injuries and just hasn’t found any sort of form. Gash is fair for this season, and he’s leaving in the summer anyway. As is Gibson.

Personally it was expected and I’m numb to it now.

It does help this season that injuries are the main cause, although we still had to shoot ourselves in the foot not to get in them.

He was gash for us. I think Gibson has improved a lot since he was with us, one of those players our fans never took to because of his dad's bizarre social media rants and a supposedly questionable attitudre problem.

Are you releasing Gibson, or is he looking to go elsewhere in the summer
