Ben Fox, Tyler Magloire and now Ali Koiki joins them in the ‘won’t play again this season’ club. Rotten luck and all in the last couple of weeks.
and Aaron McGowan keeps his three game ban after the FA backed their referee and linesman for doing such a great job. So 3 of our first choice back 4 out until march 25 against Doncaster, missing Mansfield who we never win against, Hartlepool away where we never win and Crewe.

The appeals process is a joke.

Unless it is mistaken identity nothing seems to get overturned.

That is a shocking decision to not overturn that but after Lapslie's red at Forest Green last season I'm not at all surprised. The refereeing in this league this season has been the worst I've ever known it.

We'll both do well to put teams out I reckon. We're missing Johnson, Hewitt and Macca from our defence at the minute, Reed and Maris both out in midfield and Oates up top and now Swan is out for the season joining Hartigan. Oh and our first choice keeper is ill so fuck knows if he's likely to play at the weekend.

How our luck has gone we'll definitely pick up another lengthy injury this weekend ahead of 2 games in 4 days next week.

They just cover their own backs don’t they. It’s not actually an appeal process.

I thought that sending off was ridiculous - at first. But the Northampton player clearly kicks the Crawley player when he was on the ground.

The appeal process is an absolute joke. I really wished we could do something about those fucking idiots in the FA.

No he doesn’t mate. I was bang in line with it, what he actually does is stamps his foot on the floor almost like he’s having a tantrum whilst Roles is flailing around.

I’m not particularly fond of northampton and their regular play acting and the sort - the sending off is something that i’d associate with them but that’s never a red and that the FA have upheld it is ludicrous.

Not a bad goal to win it mind.

Bit unfair with our current injury problems to have us playing twice isn’t it?

Orient really are away with it. They have a bigger cushion over second placed Carlisle than Carlisle have over 10th placed Barrow. They've endured quite a major blip too, doesn't seem all that long ago that Stevenage overtook them but now Stevenage are struggling and are miles behind (albeit with two games in hand). Hard to see anyone else taking the title, even if Orient do have another poor run.

Still very tight for everyone else. Carlisle leading the way, mostly just by quietly getting on with it. Stevenage's form could see them in danger of missing out on the playoffs if they don't arrest the decline. Northampton have been on inconsistent form, just enough to stay near the head of the pack. Bradford down to Mansfield are all teams who had mixed starts to the season and seem to have hit form at the right time but nobody really consistent enough to grab what's on offer.

Sutton have enjoyed a really good run to keep pace with the promotion chasers while Barrow and Swindon have been falling away after good starts, but could still get back into it if recent results suggest they've turned a corner.

Tranmere are only a point behind Swindon but with no games in hand and having never really featured in the promotion mix this season I've drawn the line for the promotion race just above them. I'm sure there are some Tranmere fans who feel they have a shout.

You got that real league table bollocks to post mate like this with all the previous finishes of promoted and play off teams?

I cans see 3rd place this year having the lowest points total for a fair few seasons. Think 77 got us in the play offs last year in 7th, This year can see that being close to auto.

78 (twice) is the lowest 3rd has gone up on since the turn of the century.

Very few. Most of us realists are concentrating on the Mid-table Cup.

Is that a faux pas? Why have you not put Swindon in capitals. We’re still very much in the playoff race

Mixed emotions for me:

- Don’t want a game in hand
- You have lots of injuries, maybe a good time to play you?
- But your form is good though, so maybe a bad time to play you?
- We’ve been going through the motions the last two games, we’ve been a bit meh……I didn’t fancy us to win.
- We have one or two injuries - Theo Archibald was a doubt for the game, so gives him and a few others we have an extra week to get fit for the run in.
- I won’t know what to do with myself on Saturday.

Thought I would just ask how Danny Hylton is going for you guys?

Been a let down. Currently injured but when he’s been playing he hasn’t looked likely, looks past it unfortunately although could argue he’s not been used brilliantly. Mainly been coming off of the bench but when he has started hasn’t done anything of note.

not to mention the extra work for the groundstaff filling in all the Danny Hylton shaped divots all over the pitch.
