Millwall at home on Saturday, a chance to make it 4 wins in a row and go into the break sat in the top 6. Gut feeling tells me we'll fuck it up.

I'd go with the same team that beat Reading.

Woodman
Storey, Lindsay, Hughes
Potts, Ledson, Browne, Johnson, Brady
Riis, Evans

Cornell, Cunningham, Diaby, McCann, Fernandez, Woodburn, Maguire,

We are bloody class. Viktor Gyokeres man, what a player.
Saw the goal from last night, outstanding piece of work from him. Probably the best player I’ve seen this season at the Kenny. Absolute menace and seems to have all the tools to go to the top, physical but mobile and skilful with it

Surely going to have suitors, in fact I wonder if NJ might take a look for Southampton. Their fans seem to be bellyaching for a striker alongside not being too happy about Jones being appointed.

Big Mick to walk across the turf at The Old Girl again to a loud and proud 'One Mickey Harford'. The hairs just stood up in the back of my neck as i typed that...... What a man....... What a Hatter.

COYRRH lets do it for Mickey Harford one more time.

Nice strike from Amad Diallo .

Sunderland seem to be better on the road than in front of their own fans.

That was a really good half of football.

Brady is quality. Evans & Browne are in top form too.

Knew it. Think Millwall had 4 shots and scored 4. Fair play to them. Fleming looks a Premier League player.

Sounded like we hardly had an attack - let alone a shot.

Least we didn't lose I guess and the defence will say another clean sheet - by hook or crook.

Another frustrating home draw. Guess we should be thankful at a 90th minute equaliser so perhaps a bit churlish of me but Rotherham never threatened outside of the first 30 seconds and we forced some excellent saves and missed some decent chances, especially
Morris one v one.

Punished again extremely early for a not being switched on. Badly defended by us yes but does feel like every chance is going in at the moment. After that felt we responded well, perhaps lacking a little quality but Morris should have buried his chance and Adebayo looked a real handful. Second half we huffed and puffed a bit but finally got a bit of luck with the goal.

Can’t be too disappointed with a point especially given circumstances of the week, injuries and what have you and the fact we were the ones who got the equaliser this time rather than the other way around but does feel like we should be a few more points better off

A few Birmingham fans saying it was a disgrace we were allowed to cancel our midweek game meaning we were fresher for Fridays game however after checking the beginning of the seasons fixture announcements we were never scheduled to play a game at all so god knows why they thought that. I know it was carabao cup week so were the midweek games all re-arranged games? Anyhow this league is tight as fuck. So pleased for the break, we need our injured players back.

Any games played in mid week were probably re-arranged ones from the weekend of matches called off due to the passing of the Queen.

As they ought to be aware because one of those games was their match v Swansea !

Not sure what else Boro/efl were supposed to do. Just unlucky for our travelling support its fallen on that date.

In general must be a nightmare for away fans booking trains in advance these days with rearrangements etc........Sheff Weds fans wouldnt know as i guess they dont get on tv much any more ;-)

If they moved it you would just have fans who booked trains and other arrangements complaining the other way so rock and hard place. Just another to the already very long list as to why this World Cup shouldnt have happened, and not in the middle of the season.

All 350 of them that are likely to go?
Yes agree - can always stop off and as you say fans have made arrangements.

Although seen a few clubs move their kick off forwards to 2 but really would that make much difference for a long journey?

I won’t say too much about the numbers that might go as we’ll probably take that many when we play at Middlesbrough!!

We moved our home game v Hull to the Sunday ages ago - think the club thought England might be playing on the Saturday at 3.

Blackburn away at midday, and England v France later on. Two wins would make a nice Saturday.

Not sure on the injury situation, guessing Troy Parrott is still around a month away from a return.

Huge result considering we were missing Riis, Hughes, Brady, McCann, and Browne. Four 17/18yr olds getting minutes off the bench.

Evans is in the form of his life.

We must have the worse injury record in the league - 2 more today .

No wonder the team looked disjointed.

Was always going to be a tough one first up away at Middlesbrough, might have held on if not for the Bell sending off. Wasn’t there but sounded like it had been coming, don’t think he’s been entirely successful in his few appearances at centre half but option’s extremely limited to change that given we also lost Potts with a broken back in the Blackpool game before the break.

Makes the next game up at home to Millwall still further challenging, they have been impressive and going in with such few options at centre half against such an aerially dominant side is going to be a tough one. The fixture list hasn’t been kind to Edwards I don’t think with his first 5 all looking hard, going to need a bit of time and patience and hope we get some centre halves back soon. Surely Burke must be close

Good comeback by West Brom but Sunderland will feel here done by with a couple of decisions before the 2nd goal .

They could also have been down to ten men from early

I like how Sunderland play. They string together some scintillating one touch moves at times and have scored some great goals this season, with another close one tonight that broke down at the end. But they cant sustain it through a game and seem to fall away if anyone leans on them.

If a team is in bad form and have just appointed a new manager, then it is almost a guaranteed win for them in the Championship.

Hopefully we can get some players back, 4 youth lads, 2 centre backs, and a keeper on the bench on Saturday.

Norwich and Blackburn play each other, so it's a good chance to move up a place or two with a win.

Our game is I think unsurprisingly off already. Been freezing temperatures and no forecast of improvement. Pavements and stuff around the ground if they are anything like around where I am probably also be pretty dicey. Few people having a moan about it and us not having undersoil heating but, it’s a what - 120 year old stadium we are leaving soon. Not sure that’s reasonable criticism.

Bit disappointing as have missed watching us during the break but with the centre half injuries it’s probably a good thing from a footballing stand point

No plans for an inspection at our place, the game is ready to go ahead. Slightly surprising, most of Preston is pure ice.
