What the fuck are you two rattling on about?

Utter gobshittery
On the realms of illegal payments and I just gave my version (from memory of salary cap infringements from the AFL).

I believe the Watford thing will either get bigger or just disappear Super_horns do you not think the owners found some 'loop hole' and just exploited it? This has been going on for some time mainly through a rumour mill and up front and obvious with player purchase and movements.

Well we might lose points for this if found guilty .

Surprised it’s taken so long to come up - even our own fans said it was very dodgy .
Juventus got a 15 point deduction recently for artificially inflating player values which is essentially what this is. If the EFL let this go it makes them out of step on this subject and opens up English leagues to allow this sort of thing to go on.

I am sure they did like many a club no doubt try to find ways around FFP.

This then suggests that there are either loops holes which are easily explained and exploited or the owners are playing fast and lose with the rules and have no real interest in the long term security of the club. Thus, are very probably 'skimming' the profits or an act of some form of laundering the assets as the player transfers between the two 'clubs of interest' look as dodgy as a New Zealander being able to hold his beer?

As with a form of justice, the club will be smashed into the ground while those who are responsible are allowed to leave..... All sounds familiar.

Tough one today, Doughty and Clark both missing out due to injury are going to be big misses. Think a point would be a great result

Getting stretched in Midfield now. Still impressed with the quality of depth, even if Fred isnt the best lwb. Losing two of our best for one of the toughest games of the season not ideal. Better to rest niggles than get long term ones and derail us like last season, as we dont have the equivalent resources to most.

COYH lets see if we can put the wind up em

Wilder out!

;)

I joke but we've been rubbish today and deserve to be losing.

Got 2 home games coming then Luton.

Bad results in those and we won't reach the play-offs for certain which the club still think is possible so presumably once we are out of contention that is him gone?

What a result. Missing 2 of our best players, talismanic midfield presence goes off with a serious injury and pull out a 1-0 win away against 2nd in the league. Massive

In a very crap league, Cardiff are very crap.

Can't believe the level of quality this year, Burnley are good, the rest... Christ.

THIS.

What a win. I wish we wouldnt sit so deep for those last 15mins every time we have a lead, but we are knackered and defend like lions. Completely shut out Berge, Norwood and NDiaye and coped with McBurnie who is a big handful. Other than some post corner melees their first chance was deep into stoppage time (he shoulda scored). Deserved that slice if luck. What a goal too. Pelly looks a bad one. Sad for the lad as he is thru and theu Luton. But so is Luke and it was seemless

On a side note, I hope that's the last time I see Troy Parrott & Ben Woodburn start for us again. League One crap.

What. A. Victory.

Got soaked and frozen but after that result, I don’t care one iota!

Big shout out to the people on the ground in Sheffield who got the game on after what looked like a barrage of snow this week. The pitch looked very good all things considered. We are more than happy to snatch that 3 points!

There are so many teams underachieving in this division whilst the likes of us and Millwall go great guns. All players at this level are good but attitude > ability is what’s important.

Gutted for Pelly. I think that could be the end of his season.

I’m not usually one to go after the refs as it’s an unbelievably hard job especially in this league where it’s all midfield battles and 50/50s but the standard we have had in recent weeks has really been unacceptable.

The horror challenge on Morris a few weeks ago, essentially the entirety of the Millwall game with multiple penalties, offside goals given and bizarre decisions, and this. In that period we’ve been punished with penalties that others seem to be getting away with. Obviously you want correct decisions but when it feels like things are being missed one way and then you are being officiated tightly yourself it’s frustrating. Not really surprising we’ve been charged twice in recent weeks for crowding the ref the players must be boiling at some of the crap referees we have had of late. No conspiracy theories or anything just one of those things but frustrating.

In this case he’s looking directly at it and thinks it’s fine?

Ched Evans got a retrospective 4 game ban for similar. Would have been 3 but it was his second red of the season.

Although the Bristol City player involved should have been punished too.

Doesn't help Luton but Sheff Utd might be losing a player for a few games if it's reviewed.
Helps that they are losing someone who plays for a club that is unbeaten in the league this season whenever he has started.

Rotherham away tonight, winnable, think they have issues at CB too.

Browne and Evans in for Woodburn and Parrott, and it's our strongest eleven.

We can patch up with centre halves because there's not that much between any of them, Hall probably being the best probably.

Where we are struggling is the midfield, losing Barlaser to Boro and both Wiles and Rathbone to injury is killing us.

I would be very happy with a point tonight and hope we can get a couple of players back for the Cardiff game.

No surprise that we look so much better with Bambo & DJ getting a good run of games. Potts is much more solid at RWB than Browne too, plus Cannon is a class act.

That's 8 in 15 starts for Ched.

Good to get a win .

Decent 1st half with some excellent pacy attacking play then had to ride it out 2nd a bit as Birmingham changed formation but generally solid enough .

Just saw the QPR result, that’s a genuine stunner. Shipping 6 to a relegation rival with the form they have both had for a while. That’s shocking, never thought they were truely in danger until tonight

Theyd have to really fall apart. Surely only need or 5, maybe 6, more points. 47 going to be enough most years?
