Come on Oxford. It's been too long since you graced the Championship.

Been like that for a couple of years, we had it in the 2022 L2 Final.

Cant wait for VAR to hit the lower leagues so I can spend 5 mins waiting for every decision to be made. Getting more and more like Rugby with its stop/start tediousness.

I kind of understand it, given the size of the game and what it means to both clubs.

That being said, I would much prefer to leave sport to the officials. It makes for a much more enjoyable spectacle (win or lose).

Dont agree....It is the 90th min you break away and score..........5mins later it is disallowed
All the best Saturday may the best team win

Has to be a Bolton win for me. Additional coinage for Collins getting promoted and keeps a southern side in the division...albeit a piss poor away day

Bolton have been poor all half, or maybe its Oxford that have nullified them? Oxford have took their chances. Big mountain for them to climb now. Fully expected a Bolton win today, but they can't deal with Oxford so far.

Terrible half of football.

Oxford doing a good job in their first line of defence and man marking when the CB's are on the ball and have probably shaded the first half on the basis they seem to actually have a gameplan.

Bolton under Evatt always confuse me, you're never quite sure what you're going to get. At times, it all clicks and look very good and other times you get performance like today where they're passive and lack any urgency. Most teams probably step off them because of the former and the risk of getting battered but they don't seem keen on the latter or seem to know what to do.

Mens against boys this, although I remember as a teenager Bolton being 2-0 down to Reading at HT in the Championship play off final so I guess you never know.

Oxford are playing brilliantly, Bolton just can’t find a way through. I personally didn’t expect this as I’m sure many others didn’t.

If it stays like this, League One next year could possibly be the toughest League One we’ve faced since we had the likes of Wolves and Sheffield United down here.

Bolton would get absolutely paggered in the Championship anyway, playing that system. They'd be pressed to death and gift goals for fun.

Oxford have a better chance of staying up.
