That first half pretty much sums up our last two months.

In control of the game, looking dangerous, switch off and concede, completely implode, get battered. In that order.
Against us your first 2 points never happened, but the last 3 are all valid.

That Craig in midfield for Doncaster completely ran the game yesterday. Very impressed with his performance. Notice he's on loan from Spurs. We had Devine from Spurs first half of the season who at times was on a different level (Arblaster from Sheff U was even better). Craig's awareness off the ball to always find so much space makes him look like he has all the time in the world when he has it. Molyneux got the motm on Sky but Craig was the stand out for me.

Crewe fortunate to keep it 0-2, which flattered them in the end. Demetriou was horrendous. Looked Sunday league standard. Attendance looked poor for such a big game. Gresty Road End apparently sold out but plenty of seats empty closer to the Doncaster fans. Odd.
Poor Mickey D. He's been superb all season but had an absolute shocker yesterday. I think he's running on empty now, as are a few of the others.

Not sure about a poor attendance - 8,000 is pretty good for us.

Craig was my MOTM too, hopefully his injury wasn't too bad at the end for Doncaster as I hope they go on and win it personally and they'll need him. Looked just like a sore whack to me, hopefully.

Still think MK Dons will win it based on team quality, but Doncaster could catch them on a one off game. MK would dominate the ball but can make defensive errors. Doncaster looked like they do have it in them to be solid enough to soak it up and enough to capitalise on any potential errors. Big pitch Wembley though.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I can't see Crawley doing much against MK Dons over two legs. I hope I'm wrong, Casey.

Don't see a way back for Crewe on Friday night but you never know in football, early goal for Crewe and mentalities change. A massive part of football is psychological.

Both Craig and Biggins should be ok for Friday. I doubt we have any chance of getting Craig back next season even if we go up although we do have a good relationship with Spurs and they are very impressed at the progress he’s made with us. In respect to MK we were unlucky to lose at their place and they were hopeless at ours. It’s basically a cup final so it’s down to the team which is best prepared and doesn’t freeze on the day. Finally it was Ironside who got motm.

Donny looked a good team so it's no surprise with the good form they're in, Crewe on the other hand just like against Colchester looked poor and are just making up the numbers in the playoffs.

Crawley and MK Dons will be a better match up tonight I think.

I just hope the pitch doesn't disintegrate after that soaking. We only play one way and if we can't do that because the ball won't run properly we could be in trouble.

Yes you're right it was Ironside. I had a niggling doubt when I said Molyneux, and that's why. All 3 had a good game, but felt like Craig shades it. Love players like that that make the game look so easy, when it's anything but. Very impressed.

We’re always useless at the Keepmoat to be honest, the main reason I’m glad you didn’t end up 7th is because we’d have been out of the tie before bringing you back to ours.

Is the game (MK Crawley) on sky tonight? Doesn't appear on Now TV?
It will be put on one of the channels they have, I'm sure.

I think Main Event will be the Bolton Barnsley 2nd leg as planned but I'm sure they're just showing repeats on Sky Sports Action or Arena etc and they'll whack it on there.

EDIT: Football On Tv has it as Bolton Barnsley Main Event and Crawley MK Sky Sports Football

It's on Sky Sports Football from 7pm I believe. It might still be showing as the Bolton v Barnsley game because of the short notice.
Yeah I imagine Bolton Barnsley was down to be Main Event and Football and now they've just kept that to Main Event.

Always find the Sky listings weird, sometimes the same game ends up on about 3 seperate Sky channels all at once. I don't really know why they changed from Sky Sports 1,2,3 etc. Made more sense.

Ironside was superb, considering we messed the striker situation someone like him last Jan or August would have been ideal.

Really like Ironside since I saw him at Cambridge with Mullin.

Tonight's game could go either way. Crawley have a bad habit of not turning up for big league games and the pitch could stop the passing game (of both teams).

Dons have defence problems away from home and we have defence problems.

For where I thought we'd be we have had a really good season. I'm just hoping we turn up and give it a go. If we can go into Saturday's game with a chance I'll be happy but Dons have to be the favourites.

Casey

Edit. Please god we don't pass the ball to a Dons player in front of goal. We have had a habit of doing that recently.

He was Cambridge's best player against us a couple of seasons ago, won everything in the air and was a constant menace. Surprised he dropped into L2

Yeah probably overlooked a bit because of Mullin and Hoolahan getting the headlines.

Quite a few of the sell out crowd can no longer go tonight due to train strikes and the silly 7.30pm kick off time (talking both Crawley and MK based on the respective forums). Bit of a shame, but at least we should have a game with the beautiful weather today…

One off the line already, big chance!

Let’s hope Kelly has a better game than his last Sky TV performance against Stockport at the other end.

What the fuck was that Crawley defender doing then

That was almost like Frank Sinclair scoring that banger of an OG years back when he was at Leicester.

One of these teams will definitely score a ridiculous own goal soon.

Well, Kelly certainly doing better today than that shambles at Stockport.

Apart from 5 mins, we have been crap away from home yet again. No big shock so far…
