Sorry to say but we are going down and i think it will be with a wimper to be honest. Was my worry about sacking Edwards that there are much, much more fundamental issues at play with this squad than just the manager and people were seriously whistling past the graveyard if they thought Edwards going would fundamentally alter anything.

Could it really be described as inexplicable when its our 12th away defeat in a row?

We are, and have been, really, really bad for a long while now. Seems very explicable to me - Edwards or not this squad is very bad

Thought you were lots better than Plymouth and Cardiff and you made today a very scrappy affair.
You might have won if you could defend crosses.
I fancy you to sneak out based on that.

For Oxford, didn’t play that well but the points are what matters, the results went nicely our way too!

Our February fixtures which are 3 away games where we never even get a point, and then home to top of the league, sort of dictated that today was sort of a must win, or if its too early for that at the very least a must not lose. We havent done that and are more than likely staring down the barrel now.

Afraid to say we are well in trouble and i dont see a way out of it personally with this group of players.

Well played Preston .

Cannot have any complaints.

They wanted it more and took their chances.

We made it easy for them too.

Well it wasn’t pretty but I’ll take it. Luton certainly stopped us first half, we just couldn’t get going. Thought Clark was a constant threat, was delighted when he was taken off. The Luton defending for our winner however was as bad as it gets, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player have so much time and space to bury a header.

Yep Clark is really the only person to come away with any credit of that from our point of view. Even with a goal and a assist, the defending and lack of organisation from crosses sort of precludes McGuinness from that.

Seems Rowett has really solidified you and and you are now getting toward a comfy mid-table spot. Big call to sack Buckingham but looking like the right one at the moment.

I thought you caused us problems until you decided to swap 4 players and you never got your rhythm back. I think your players are easily good enough to keep you up, maybe get rid of the right back though

Probably our best win of the season.

Honestly think if Osmajic plays 40+ games in a season he could be a 20 a season striker at this level. Missing 8 games through biting doesn't help and both Lowe & Heckingbottom have both been quick to drop him for Riis which I've never understood.

Gibson & Meghoma seem like great additions already.

A lot of teams seem to play well v us .

I see Cleverley has had a big go at the players but that usually ends in one outcome!
