Sorry to say but we are going down and i think it will be with a wimper to be honest. Was my worry about sacking Edwards that there are much, much more fundamental issues at play with this squad than just the manager and people were seriously whistling past the graveyard if they thought Edwards going would fundamentally alter anything.

That really is an inexplicable defeat. We are in deep trouble now.

Could it really be described as inexplicable when its our 12th away defeat in a row?

We are, and have been, really, really bad for a long while now. Seems very explicable to me - Edwards or not this squad is very bad

Thought you were lots better than Plymouth and Cardiff and you made today a very scrappy affair.
You might have won if you could defend crosses.
I fancy you to sneak out based on that.

For Oxford, didn’t play that well but the points are what matters, the results went nicely our way too!

Our February fixtures which are 3 away games where we never even get a point, and then home to top of the league, sort of dictated that today was sort of a must win, or if its too early for that at the very least a must not lose. We havent done that and are more than likely staring down the barrel now.

Afraid to say we are well in trouble and i dont see a way out of it personally with this group of players.

Well played Preston .

Cannot have any complaints.

They wanted it more and took their chances.

We made it easy for them too.

Well it wasn’t pretty but I’ll take it. Luton certainly stopped us first half, we just couldn’t get going. Thought Clark was a constant threat, was delighted when he was taken off. The Luton defending for our winner however was as bad as it gets, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player have so much time and space to bury a header.

Yep Clark is really the only person to come away with any credit of that from our point of view. Even with a goal and a assist, the defending and lack of organisation from crosses sort of precludes McGuinness from that.

Seems Rowett has really solidified you and and you are now getting toward a comfy mid-table spot. Big call to sack Buckingham but looking like the right one at the moment.

I thought you caused us problems until you decided to swap 4 players and you never got your rhythm back. I think your players are easily good enough to keep you up, maybe get rid of the right back though

Probably our best win of the season.

Honestly think if Osmajic plays 40+ games in a season he could be a 20 a season striker at this level. Missing 8 games through biting doesn't help and both Lowe & Heckingbottom have both been quick to drop him for Riis which I've never understood.

Gibson & Meghoma seem like great additions already.

A lot of teams seem to play well v us .

I see Cleverley has had a big go at the players but that usually ends in one outcome!

Comfortably the better team for 70 minutes

But from then until Bristol City equalised was an absolute disgrace, I’m actually struggling for words to describe it. Sat on the edge of our own box for 15 minutes, aimlessly swinging legs at it, misplaced pass after misplaced pass, holding it to absolutely nobody. Until they finally scored

Whether it’s Rohl or the players mentality I do not know but it was, to be frank, fucking shocking

Yet another win at Fortress Fratton, it's incredible how good we are at home since Michael Smith rifled in that worldie against us 3 months ago.

Stoke really can't defend and as soon as the third went in, it was comfortable for us. Up to 18th with a game in hand - proper nosebleed territory!

Showing great form indeed.

I see Mark Robins has been rather sour in defeat.

Accusing you of dark arts and cheating.

Well Stoke fans will remember a certain manager who was quite successful doing that for them!

Mark Robins is an utter prick, can't stand him.

Plymouth look doomed, conceding 60 goals in 28 games is mental.

Boro at home next, good team but they don't have a good record at Deepdale and we shouldn't go into this one with any negativity.

Hopefully it's the same team, Thor is much better in that deep role than Whiteman, and Frokjaer has to be played centrally to get the best out of him.

We potentially have the best pair of wingbacks in the league now.

Woodman
Storey - Gibson - Hughes
Thordarson
KKH - McCann - Ledson - Meghoma
Frokjaer
Osmajic
Riis, Greenwood, Keane, and Brady on the bench are good options to change things up.

Make no mistakes over the Boro win that was probably the biggest win of the season for me. Beating a top side in Middlesborough was a great result, but to back that up with a really hard dogged performance with the pressure on beating team in and around us and knowing we would leap frog them in the table was massive. Very different test, but we started like an express train. I think Robins comment "They have players with experience who have come up on the other side of the game" is very disrepectful about some of our players abilities. Matt Ritchie and Hayden have both played alot of premier league games. Pack played most of his career as a cultured Central Midfielder. Murphy through the Norwich academy. Penalty was abit soft, but as we've had a ton turned down for alot worse and I do think it gets given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch. The lad has come out of Man City academy football where you probably can put two hands on the back of someone and it not been pulled up. Devlins challenge was old school and funnily enough it wasn't the one Robins thought was too strong.
