Can’t see us making the top 3, we have too many of the top half teams still to play and we really haven’t been good enough against them so far this season.

You murdered us at VP. Are we the only ones you have beaten?

Strange that as you have been the best visiting team by some distance we've seen at VP this season, indeed you are the only away team to come away with 3 points from VP in the past 11 months

Stockport County.
I'll probably release my predictions in the next couple of days for those asking.

Probably do a big build up for it, get as many interactions and eyes on it as possible. #stockyspeaks

Whens peak time on here? Usually an evening slot about 7pm isn't it?

I think the problems you've outlined are more representative of our season as a whole, which is sound logic but I don't think it paints a true picture of where we're at. Since we've switched to wing backs none of the criticisms really hold up. The defence has generally been very good in the last few matches, our goal difference is +5 and we've dominated every match. I fully admit that is a small sample size in comparison to the rest of the season, however what I would also say is that there are only two teams in the top eight who are currently playing their best football of the season and that's us and Bradford. Not only that but we've got individual players in every area of the pitch also playing their best football of the season. Wright (cock up against Fleetwood aside), Rodgers, JDS, Hume, McEachran, Rose and Obikwu are all peaking right now. The decent performances are becoming more frequent, which is what Artell said would happen.

We're also one of two or three clubs in the top eight probably not under significant pressure to go up, the others being Crewe and maybe Wimbledon. Of the current top six three are going up automatically and the other three are going to be facing late heartbreak which will be carried into the playoffs, whereas whoever snags 7th place is gonna be buzzing.

I full expect us to dip again at some point, mind you. However, I think we'll bounce back quicker when we do now. I think we've steadily progressed as the season has gone on whereas the vast majority of the division seems to have hit varying degrees of plateaus and downward trajectories and seem to be limping over the line.

We're literally the form team in the division lol? 5 wins and 3 draws in our last 8.

Two of those with ten men as well.

I’m going…

1. Walsall
2. Port Vale
3. Bradford
4. Notts
5. Wimbledon
6. Doncaster
7. Colchester

Call me mad, but I reckon someone from mid-table goes on a run. I saw a table the other day from this time last year and Crawley were still in the bottom half, and Doncaster about sixth from bottom. Could be anyone, but I was impressed by Colchester against us recently so why not them?

The order of second to sixth I reckon is pretty much chucking darts blindfolded. Will come down to the finest margins, an injury or refereeing decision here and there etc.

Still a bit early, isn’t it? We had a ridiculous run like Bradford/Vale/Grimsby’s current ones over Christmas, but have had a slight drop off on the back of a couple of injuries. It’s who can time that winning run through April that will settle it.

Don't mind being totally disregarded. There was a podcast last night where the intro with Gabriel Sutton, he completely forgot to mention Vale, skipping us to talk about Crewe and Grimsby.

We're in great form, yet I've seen people saying we're going through a bad patch. Suits me
