We've had a bad run of injuries but most of the squad is fit or nearly fit now, so there are no excuses if we don't make (at least) the playoffs. We've got a tough run in but we've got multiple players who are above League Two standard so hopefully we can together a decent run...

If you've got multiple players that are above 4th Div status then why :-

1. Are you only 8th in the table ?
2. Why arn't these players playing at a higher standard ?

and if you consider James Connolly to be one of these so called players I know your way off the mark.

1. Mainly injuries
2. Mainly injuries

I don't particularly rate Connolly, been quite disappointed with him after he got pretty good reviews from Bristol Rovers fans.

Its certainly a roller coaster and after Saturday 2nd place is even in our hands, two huge games at home to Morecambe and Barrow in which we will be heavy favourites, if we can get six points then we go into a make or break week with Crewe, Bradford and Walsall in a great position.

Hopefully the return of Stockley and Garrity can see us through and they can be a big part in the last 10.

I have you down as the only cert for autos at the minute.

A lot more confidence in us than I have. Granted it’s probably true of most of us but obviously I’ve seen us more than I’ve seen anyone else but it has been all too rare I’ve looked at us and thought we looked convincing. Certainly did last Saturday but at the back of my mind MK did look a bit like an academy team with how they played. Will reevaluate after the Morecambe and Barrow home games however they go.

2 homes game two wins and one more to go midweek against Barrow before we go into what is probably a defining week in our season against Crewe, Bradford and Walsall. IF we win all four then I might start to believe that autos / the title is possible. Big ask though.

I didn't go yesterday due to work but had the game on Radio Stoke as I was working in The Potteries and managed to return home for the final 15 minutes.

All well and good Bell's soundbites referring to 9 cup finals and that we'll go out to win the game, but he's not exactly practicing what he preaches. To come back home and see our players celebrating winning fouls at 0-0 whilst supposedly being in a promotion/playoff race is ridiculous and probably the height of our ambition right now under Bell.

5 wins in 19 games with this style of football that really goes against the clubs philosophy. I'm not ruling Top 7 out yet but if we're having 0 shots on target again against Vale at home on Saturday then serious concerns will be raised. Those at the top will be deeply unhappy we've dropped from 2nd to out of the playoffs in the space of a little over 2 months. They backed Bell this season and we've clearly regressed. We did better last season with a much bigger injury list, a squad with less depth and quality on the whole and down to the bare bones where we understandably run out of steam towards the end. This time there's no excuses for it.

We don't score enough goals, we play boring football, manager shows no attacking ambition, 16 draws. I'll be amazed if he's backed to the same level next season that he has been this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see the board consider a change in management in Summer either if the season peters out into nothing.
