Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I’ve been saying for weeks even months, you have to actually see us to believe how bad we are.

So many people have been looking at our players and busy transfer business and saying oh Carlisle will stay up. They clearly haven’t seen us play.

This is the worst EFL team I have ever seen. No exaggeration. And the worrying thing is it appears to be getting worse despite the batch of new signings. I dread to think how early relegation will be confirmed the way it’s going.

The worst efl team ever was the carlise Side in the first half of 2003/4 which amounted 5 points by Christmas.

But when we had transfer embargo gone Simpson brought in experienced knowledgeable fighters kev gray, Tom Cowan and Andy preece and build a spine to stabilise it.

The problem with this lot is we have the spine of someone with serious back condition and arthritis.

First job we should have been sorting was an ability to keep clean sheets and build from that, here we are full new squad and leaking 5 goals at home

Do you genuinely believe that though? Or is it an emotional reaction to a defeat? Will you still hold this view if we win next week?

This is why I don’t get carried away after one win like last week. We’ve proved we can win one game every once in a while on a number of occasions, and I’m sure we will again before the season is out. But one win in amongst a load of defeats will get us relegated.

I think the team is done. I don’t think anyone keeps us up. The defence is shit and we haven’t brought in enough goals. But I still think a change of manager is needed before next season as we seriously need to plan and organise properly to be prepared for the national league season if we want to have a chance of coming back.

No no no

Yesterday was the final straw for me, I'm done with Williamson he's a pathetic head coach who should never have been appointed by that utter useless CEO of our Clibbens who also needs sacked.

Have to say situationally it was a curious move. Seemed to be with a view to someone with a footballing philosophy which is great and all that but given where you were when he took over scrapping some points together maybe should be more of a priority.

I don’t remember much of that team, I didn’t go to every game and obviously there was no streaming then. I remember some games in the second half of the season. That team wasn’t great either, it grinded out a few narrow wins but ultimately still got relegated.

I went sparingly that season. Young hellogregory started going more regularly the following season.

This current team is the worst EFL team I’ve ever seen. How some people think it can stay up absolutely blows my mind. I’ve never seen a team so tailor made for relegation in my life.

Something of a Perfect Storm brewing at Tranmere.

Adkins is clueless, clearly lost the dressing room but will only go if he gets the pay-off for the remaining 2+ years of his contract.

Takeover, if it happens at all won't take place until the end of the first financial quarter by which time it will have no impact for this season. Conspiracy theory doing the rounds that we actually want to get relegated as less accountability on spending in the NL. Wrecsam didn't immediately go up when their Hollywood owners took over. Usually I'd dismiss as nonsense, but Mark Palios seemed very blasé when asked about dropping out of the FL at the last Q&A.

From those who saw him at the ground yesterday, Mark Palios is clearly an unwell man. It seems that either he can't or won't find the funds to pay off Adkins' 2+ years on the overlong 3 year contract he dished out last year.

If Adkins stays, we go down, no question. He should have been ditched at the latest after the defeat at Morecambe. Even if we do replace him, with the lack of quality in the current squad and no time to make any changes, it will probably be too late.

I thought you might struggle this season when you signed Davison from us at Wimbledon. I did warn Tranmere fans about him. God knows what the head of recruitment saw in him. I was watching a Tranmere podcast and they said he's on a reputed 3 grand a week. He described him as Bambi on ice. I think that about sums him up.

You and other Dons fans on here who warned about Davison have been proved right, though it's only recently that the size of his wage has come to light. All down to Adkins who'd worked with him previously at Charlton and thought he was what was needed.

I can understand JJ signing him for us. He had a pretty successful loan to Swindon. His record for us should have sounded alarm bells. You can't fault his work rate but the end product is lacking.

Davison might not be a good player but there is no excuse for the idiots who had a go at him, his wife and child on saturday after the game. Those scumbags should be arrested if identified and banned from every football ground in England for life

We rarely get a result at Accrington. A point for them at the very least.
An easy win for you. If we keep 11 on the pitch on Saturday, that's a 4 or 5-0. 37 year old Whalley is comfortably their best player.

Crewe must be in poor form to get beat by them.

Are Carlisle and Tranmere quite lucky of Morecambe's predicament? I think Adams is doing a good job under testing circumstances there and they'd probably be around mid-table if they had a bit more room for manoeuvre in the transfer market and not be under embargos.

Well we're only 3 points behind Tranmere after the so-called "embargo" was lifted before last weekend's game where we brought in a forward who scored twice on his debut in that game, issue with us is that 10 games we have lost by 1-0 is down to the forwards we had before last week, Carlisle is 2 points behind us in 24th who just sacked their manager on transfer deadline day, if we win on Tuesday against Newport we'll be out of the relegation zone on Goal Difference

Morecambe is a long away day and not a great visit, however I’d like them to stay up as Tranmere and Carlisle have become soap opera’s. Adkins is clearly past his sell by date, whilst Carlisle appear to have signed some decent footballers but can they get someone who can mould them into a team ( quickly) ?

Either way, things aren't looking great for Tranmere.

Carlisle have admittedly made a massive balls up of it, but at least they have tried something and it just hasn't worked. Morecambe can't seem to get many results but have a half decent manager who keeps games close.

Tranmere just seem resigned to going down already.

If Tranmere go down they seem to be in a worse place than they were last time- at least then Palios had just come in and everyone seemed energised and ready to turn the club around. Not so now.
