Nobody thinks they're going to cope with non league but when it happens you just do. You quickly adjust to going to Woking as second favourite and being content with a hard earned point at Dover.
Some teams love it in non league so much that they head back there for a second go just to take the piss.

Ask Barnet, yourselves and Hartlepool. Although we've been perilously close, thus far we've avoided the drop.

How many do you think Vale will shift ?
Tricky one...

Think we've sold around 6500 overall including the Junior Valiants Scheme (£35 and you get a free home top IIRC when I did it for my daughter).

but having our worst season in terms of home form in our history I think may knock a few off. Its the frustrating thing, we'd found another 1500-2000 home fans during promotion 2 seasons back and enjoyed our biggest crowds since the Championship "Glory" days of the 90's but silly gambles have probably likely seen much of that set to evaporate this close season.

Got to say it was spot on to use, only took a few minutes to renew it compared to the rather clunky one the club had before. Don't think the fact they're going to charge £5 extra for anyone who wants a physical ST as opposed to the digital one is going to go down well in some quarters but no odds really. I'm presuming Ticketmaster are now handling loyalty points etc as well.

6,500 is a decent effort, sure ticketmaster are good to work with also, we’ve used kaizen the last few seasons and the system is brilliant tbh.

We’ve capped ours at 6,000 this season (and all sold 6,000) given work on the bishop st won’t be done until towards the end of the season/early the season after,

6000 ST sales is incredible from the Stags. Mansfield didn't manage a season average of 6000 total crowd in the whole of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s oh and 2010s. That's 40 years+

True story.

Shows what a well run club and a bit of success can do to a club. And it shows that these last few years many times have really benefited from a boom in home support.

Thank you greedy Premier League

I might have it wrong ,but I think Vale and us are the only teams left who actually announce bums on seats rather than seats sold in league 2 ?

We do yes, hence when we tried the Bradford model years back our average attendance was less than season tickets sold!

I prefer the way we announce, not just because our average attendance is inflated, but because we can see exactly how many fans pay on the day.

15,000 ST sold last season with an average attendance of 17,100. Simple match - great walk up considering.

The opposite , that's why it annoys me we don't - average probably 7-7.5k seats sold p/g but the average on paper is 6.3k or whatever

Over. Sad, I know, but I looked on the website earlier and counted just 352 seats left in the home sections.
Yes that is sad lol. Yes the amount of season tickets sold to what's shown on the website doesn't really add up. However I don't think they sell season tickets in the end block in the east stand and the section with the scoreboard. Maybe debenture holder seats account for other tickets .

Wow, glad you're finally doing something with that stand (says the bloke who supports a club with a half-finished stand for 20+ years)

We have sold 5k now with a few days to go at a reduced rate . Think the total will probably end up at 5.5k or somewhere like that now .

2900 sold ahead of the early bird ending on Sunday, usually the last weekend is the big sales time for them so hopefully get a decent total.

Nearly 900 more gone past 48 hours up to 3722 with the weekend early bird finishing Sunday, hopefully add another 1000 to that.

I do think they add the hospitality season tickets until the end either which IIRC is 500 or so. (Not sure about the junior valiants).

Would hope all in we will pass 5000 which would be a good effort considering we had one of the worst home seasons in our history last season! And have only won about 9 league home games in 18 months!

No other league system in the world can rival the English leagues for numbers, some ridiculous numbers from a lot of our teams for the 4th tier.

Not season tickets but away tickets next season are going up again at Crewe to a quite frankly disgusting £28.
