I've had a go at guessing the retained list... of course made harder by us not announcing contract lengths anymore. Some of those contracted might actually not be, but this is a mix of both my own thoughts and expectation based on what I know:

Contracted:
CMac, Norman, Tucker, Williams, Leko, Gilbey, Harrison, Harness, Tomlinson, Grant, Dean, Burns, Anker, Wearne, Scholtz, Devoy, Tripp, Waller

Offered:
Lewington, Illunga, Dennis, Sandford, Kelly

End of Loan:
Payne, Tezgel, Stewart, Lofthouse, Marschall, Bate

Released:
O'Hora, Eisa, Robson, Harvie, Kemp

At Wimbledon we've got rid of the majority of the deadwood. We've got around half a dozen player's that I'd be happy seeing in the starting 11 next season. I guess like most clubs at this level there is quite a big turnover of player's. Recruitment as ever will be the key to us having a good season. Anything other than top 7 will be regarded as being poor next season. However the majority of clubs in this league probably think that they can finish in the top 7.

Really liked Ethan Robson when we had him on loan from Sunderland , suprised he hasn't kicked on . Has he had much game time ?

He was excellent for a spell when we had him on loan in 21/22 but hasn’t really hit those heights since. He was fine this season when called upon but nothing special, there’s better out there for sure.

Really excited to visit your ground. My mate lives in Earlsfield, so I've been past it a lot and it's walking distance from his house. There used to be a place on a kind of industrial estate that made craft ale and had a little bar outside....not sure if it's still there. There's a few decent pubs on the way though.

That would have been By the Horns. Not sure where they brew nowadays but they run our pub - home supporters only on match days. The craft ale site is now Against the Grain, mainly ciders but I think they do a couple of ales. Never been there but I hear that it's very good. Plenty of decent pubs in the area, some of which will be home supporters only.

I lived in Earlsfield on and off for many years which is why I'm a Wimbledon supporter.

Finally announced our (Gills) retained list following the appointment of Bonner.

Contracted 24/25 - Max Ehmer, Conor Masterson, Max Clark, Robbie McKenzie, Jonny Williams, Jayden Clarke, Tim Dieng, Shad Ogie, Remeao Hutton, Josh Andrews, Jake Turner, Ethan Hawkins, Joe Gbode, Sam Gale, Alex Giles

Contracted but transfer listed - George Lapslie, Oli Hawkins, Scott Malone, Ashley Nadesan

Offered deals to Glenn Morris and Dom Jefferies

Released - Shaun Williams, Macauley Bonne, Ike Orji, Matty MacArthur, Ronald Sithole, Josh Chambers, Kieran Agbegbi, Nathan Harvey

Not surprised by any of those listed or released, a bit miffed at MacArthur as a youth prospect reckon that will bite us on the arse as he's always looked very capable. Jayden Clarke bloody lucky not to be made available and thought we'd go for a younger ressie keeper than Morris. Jefferies offer is purely for the tribunal fee.

Wouldn’t mind George Lapslie and Scott Malone.

Sounds like you’re attempting to reduce your playing budget?

Lapslie signed when we were bottom of the League and heading nowhere but down, seen a figure of five grand a week mentioned. Kept us up, didn't really show it this season gone so he's not exactly providing value for money.

Could be wrong, but I think David Sharpe and Clough brought him to Mansfield from Charlton.

Sharpe now operates as Footballing Director at our place. Could have legs.

That figure sounds about right considering you doubled what we paid him, Clough did not want to let go but couldn’t stand in the way of a player with a young family being offered what is probably the most he will ever get comfortably.

The £160k we got for him and Hawkins, both with only six months left was great business, we got DKD, Louis Reed and Alfie Kilgour the same month for £25k each, all done under David Sharpe Bradford fans!

Wouldn't want Lapslie here. Spends the majority of the game on the turf. And we don't have any of that after December.

I expect Hawks is on similar money, hence his transfer listing.

Nah, more like shifting decent earners who are on a 'starting player' wage but aren't starters. Lapslie has been pretty much a waste of time for us, and Malone hasn't been the same since his mate Harris left. We have enough in both those positions anyway.

Quite a lot of quality under contract for next season already though, nice to start from a strong foundation. Ogie, Masterson, Ehmer, Hutton, Williams, Dieng, Andrews, McKenzie and Clark is most of a good defence and midfield, so a little stardust up in forward areas and things are looking ok.

Agreed, always thought he's looked shite against us and I'd rather Walker, Pointon or Pattison play in a number 10 role than him. Far to expensive to be a squad player and I wouldn't want him NPC haircut weasel as a starter either.

How has Lewington got another contract? He's ancient for a footballer. Still young enough to be my son. Urgh!

Because he's still first team quality and brings a lot to the team both on and off the pitch.

He's also never lost a game against you lot, but I think that one is more for the fans, he genuinely couldn't give less of a shit.

Mo Eisa, Michael Kelly, Dan Kemp, Warren O’Hora and Ethan Robson have all been released.

Dan Kemp will undoubtedly sign for Swindon Town and score a hat trick against us.

We'll happily take Dan Kemp. Oh no, forgot we're an absolute bin fire, so we'll make him an offer that his agent and him will have a good laugh about. Maybe he'll sign for Bradford and we can loan him from them a la Jake Young last season.

We're almost 3 weeks removed from the end of the season and Harrogate, Morecambe, Salford and Walsall have yet to release any retained list. Morecambe I get, due to their instability, but what's the holdup with the other 3?

Salford have given their fan the list, but he/she/they haven't found this site and don't know how to post.

Neville's that engrossed in the Premier League that he hasn't realised the domestic season has finished outside of the playoffs.

Funny how little he seems to tweet about Salford these days. Wonder if Hollywood FC will go through the same thing once they have a few boring seasons in mid-table in L1?

What's happened with Nadersan at Gills?

I think he is decent at this level but his one trick is being bloody fast. It worked for us when we were scratching around because it keeps the opposition defence honest (can't push up to the half way line with a chance of a ball punted over the top).

Having said that he wouldn't get into our side now.

Have as much media exposure as Crewe do you mean? (apart from when 'the bad thing' happened).
