Still not losing though. Got a bad feeling we will mess this 2nd half up and get beat.

You should have the game in the bag. What a ridiculous own goal. Can't see us scoring any other way aside from you making a meal at the back or your keeper throwing one in his net.

Take it you now see what we’ve been on about. Have you ever seen a team, any team, play such mindless drivel. 20% possession in the first half.

Its actually 30.1%. I know Crewe are a possession side but that's shameful at home really.

Fucking hell! 90+4 winner from Twine and we were absolutely dreadful. Crewe should have had 6 or 7, nailed on pen not given.

I’d blow my brains out if I was a Crewe fan.

Called it. A ridiculous 2nd half. Literally should have scored 5 or 6. Smash and grab from Swindon but I saw it coming.

Absolutely baffled as to how we’ve lost away at MK this afternoon. Battered them all second half and they score two late on. The fourth goal wasn’t a free kick either.

Absolutely gutted but it’s chalk and cheese from the insipid mess Curle was serving up. Should have buried it in the second half but didn’t.

Rochdale and Swindon next up, huge huge games.

How on earth did we win that?? as you said Crewe were head and shoulders better than us and that was a blatant penalty they should have had.

Fair play to Palmer for creating that chance at the end, and cool from Twine. Much much needed 3 points bearing in mind all the other results at the bottom of the league.

Mandron could have had 4 on his own.

Funny old game, Saint!

You did. But that’s not a usual result is it. It’s a freak.

Wigan 1 - 2 Imps

A undeserved 3 points for the Imps, like the reverse fixture Wigan fought and will feel hard done by. Conditions weren't great with a really strong wind. Lost Scully through injury, an already thin squad is been challenged and it's showing.

Lang who opened the scoring for the home side with an absolute cracker. Hopper's also a really good goal. On to Tuesday.

To be fair I thought the penalty decision was hilarious. Did the ref think Dale manoeuvred his body 90 degrees in mid air by himself? Ref must have thought he could fly. Got to laugh at nonsense like that, because it evens itself up over the season.

Fuming with Artell today. Mandron was not needed after 60 mins. Walker should have come on for him. Why did we need a target man against that dross? And then bringing Evans on with 40 seconds left on the clock? He’s had a mare today. TBH I’m getting increasingly irritated with his decision making.

And FFS play Lowery slightly deeper!!!!! Get him on the ball facing their goal, and get him dictating. What’s the use in him getting the ball on the half turn? That’s not his game. We would have picked them off with Lowery playing in that quarter back role. He’s not Finney or Ainley.

Mandron can do no wrong according to our fans. Despite the fact his goal scoring record is frankly embarrassing.

Crewe were miles better than us at their place earlier in the season, they really could have had 6 or 7.

Still beat them though.

And that has been a recurring theme throughout the season. We struggle to score. Mandron’s finishing is awful. No other way of describing it.

Should have been out of sight by half time.

Baffling that Lambert has waited until he's out the door to make 8 changes, adopt a new system and abandon playing out from the back. Today was night and day compared to the 0-0 with Northampton.

Oxford will say they grew into the game and were in the ascendancy in the final 10/15 and could have won it at the end after we failed to take our chances in the first half.

Credit where credit is due, it looked like two honest sides going toe to toe. Just a shame it's taken Lamberts impending exit for him to abandon his stubborn attitude and throw caution to the wind.

0-0 does not save his job in the coming week but it's the first time in months that I've not felt short changed for paying £10 to watch Ipswich.

Aye. You didn't take your chances and then we didn't take our chances later on. I'll take a point though considering.

I thought we were second best, and are beginning to look tired, and when you play a fast game like we do that's not good. Our goal led something of a charmed life in the last five minutes, and Wigan can feel a bit unlucky. Still, good teams can play badly and win, and lots of the other results were good for us.

Definitely, the fourth was a ref mistake, and did think it was ironic that 'ball-playing' Milton Keynes got the third with a long lump up the field. Glad to score a goal, wish more than 1 had come from open play, but still some shoots of recovering. Really stuck on whether to stick or twist with Brady, miles better football but still only 1 point from 3 games. Next two games against other relegation battlers probably decider.

Another defeat. We've been going backwards since Christmas and now look bereft of ideas going forward.

It's the same every season. We'll probably scrape into the play-offs and fizzle out again in the semis. At least they'll be no hiding place for Jackett this time. Four years of standing still. We'll likely lose a few players at the end of the season who deserve to be at better clubs (Harness and Curtis for sure).

Fleetwood did everything but put the ball in the back of the net. The better side in the 1st half, in the 2nd they totally dominated and you would have thought the Cods were pushing for promotion. Donacien had another excellent game, the team as a whole put in a terrific shift, unfortunately only 1 point was secured

Be that as it may we are uncomfortably in the lower half with some some testing fixtures coming up. I am now looking for how the likes of Wigan/Cobblers/Swindon/Burton are doing, nothing personal just dont want them picking up too many 3 pointers !

Somehow 0-0 at home again Oxford is a good result. Standards have slipped massively. We defended well but Nsiala is woeful. Under a new manager we might have some confidence to snatch 3 points. Good away point for Oxford, look more of a bet for top 6 than us.

That’s the worst we have played in a long while. I think we are thankful for a point on that basis above all else. We didn’t look like a promotion chaser, rather a lower mid-table mediocrity from both sides sadly.

That was a truly dreadful game of football.
We were utter shite and Rovers were equally as inept.
Rovers hit the woodwork twice and it could have gone either way. Neither side really deserved to win but It’s another three points towards safety but it was really was hard work watching it.

That save just before the equaliser was incredible.

What a frustrating afternoon that was.

From the Madron header? Yeah i had already accepted it was 2-0 and couldn't believe he had saved it.

This isn't going to make it any easier to accept but Crewe are such a great side to watch. Was it Kirk that has been sold and you have back for the season on loan? He's always brilliant whenever we play you. (He was up against Caddis though who got murdered in the game at Gresty Road.

We've been running on fumes this week. Doesn't sound like it was a deserved victory but we remained clinical, as we have been all season.

Scully going off straight after the goal is hopefully just a contact injury because we have others who need a breather but we can't give it to them.

We need to get through the next four weeks as best we can and hopefully get some bodies returning.
