Taking Stockport all the way away from home is more than improving 'marginally' compared to where they were. By the way Stockport are favourites with the bookies to beat champions elect Sutton today, with Sutton at home.
I think the manager change has improved things a lot for Barnet, and I'm expecting a very tough game today. Will be quite pleasantly surprised if we come away with all 3. If someone had a gun to my head I'd bet on the draw

Barnet may well be a little better than they have been before Flowers left but I expect you to beat then comfortably, they still have the same players.

Favourites? Where?! Making our incoherent mess favourites away to the league's most consistent side sounds like someone's giving away free money

You're 7-5, Sutton 15-8. Pretty mad especially considering Sutton's home record on that carpet they play on. Still, it shows how confident the bookies are in you! I can't imagine it's happened too many times before that the odds on favourites to win the league are not favourites to win at home.

I'm just trying to reverse psychology the squad, as I'm certain they jump on here to see what I've got to say before games!

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Shots home to Boreham Wood. Not usually an exciting fixture, but Shots need to regain the unbeaten momentum after an unfortunate midweek defeat at Halifax, so hopefully we’ll go for it. Not that there’s any point in playing otherwise, the only way has to be up. Probably a draw, then, say 1-1. Will pay to view, really only because the match-day programming is so good.

More likely bookies taking a superficial look at our "Rusk can't be allowed to fail" cash-splashing bonanza, no way should County be clear favourites

Solid line up from us. A ‘keeper, three centre backs, a left back, a winger playing at right back, three defensive midfielders and two target men.

Only 4 subs on our bench. No news on Matt Warburton which is weird, he appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Adi Yussuf is actually wank isn't he. Do you want him back Wrexham?

5 minutes in and it’s basically a miracle that we aren’t at least 1 down already

This could get rather embarrassing. We are being absolutely battered.

Have you been on ale in dressing room? Legitimately could be 3/4 down inside 12 mins

Told you!

We were only annoyed because we can't sign a replacement and it left us a little light squadwise. There was no chance we'd have been trying to keep him when his loan was up, and he'd be easily 4th choice for us if he was still here, hes a lazy barsteward.

Good luck with your 2 year contract option.

I hope it's our option and not his

No idea how our game at Sutton is still 0-0, could easily be 2-0 or 3-1 down

Yeovil have bafflingly decided to sit deep and not press, so we look okay and in control despite the world’s most defensive starting line up. Great free kick from Reeves despite the slight deflection.

If we make it in to half time at 1-0 we should be absolutely delighted.

Typical of us that we’re not taking our chances and only 1-0 up when we’ve had a half of complete domination and chance after chance... hope that doesn’t come back to bite us!

I only know this because of the live commentary courtesy of a local radio station btw, Barnet’s stream appears to not want to take my money. Tried atleast 6/7 times to purchase a stream but once it gets to authentication stage of the card it just freezes and does nothing

Any Barnet fans had similar issues this season and know how to fix this issue? Or shall I just give up at this stage given it’s already HT!!

I note Yeovil have played an awful lot lately and only have 4 subs, so maybe that is something to do with it. Also, Reuben Reid isn’t exactly the man for a press

Pretty solid first half from us, ready to pick to the pace from the 60 minute mark again. We're the fittest team in this league. :ds:
