We're so bad we had a player sent off after the final whistle - Although it was Steven Rigg so silver linings
we had a player sent during the game too [making his debut]

Wealdstone having a mare here. Lazy play from Isted gifts Sutton a goal.

I don’t know where to begin, this has been beyond turgid.

Chesterfield in danger again? Or an underperforming squad that a new manager should get a tune out of?

They’ll be fine judging by today if they can get in a manager to get them organised. Not pretty, but Denton is a threat and easy to set up a team to play off.

Disagree.

From playing them three times I think they have a really poor squad. New manager will need some additions or they could be in trouble.

Maybe they had a bit of a sacked manager bounce today, I thought they were okay. That said, Roberts had already hit the post and shot when he could’ve squared for a tap in by the time we scored, so it could’ve been all over by the time they equalised and came back into it.

We were poor again for what it’s worth, balance in midfield all wrong. But... that’s the kind of thing that can completely turn a season that was starting to go off the rails.

Bless chesterfield, the gift that keeps on giving.

their budget is the thick end of a penny. They’re in real bother.

Hopefully RR will get a decent run now, changed the game today. Probably for JOB. So midfield of RR, Doyle, Reeves, Roberts? Where does Enzio fit in?

Still think Enzio, Ruben and Roberts behind Wootton looks our best bet, with Sam as an impact sub and giving Wootton the odd rest.

Basically 4 of the 6 (including Thomas) need to be playing or we end up too defensive.

We need to be playing two up top of we're wasting Wootton. Truth is we're carrying Doyle, he's adding nothing and as we're conceding at least one dreadful goal a week he's not really shielding the defence.
Rodriguess should be startimg, he makes chances and Sam although not brilliant does at least occupy the defence.

That’s true at the minute, but only because we aren’t getting more people up there around him.

I think Doyle is okay if just left to do his job, but with him, Reeves and O’Brien in there we just end up with three defensive midfielders getting in the way of each other.

When Thomas is fit I think he’s worth his place, so I’d be minded to swap Rodrigues and Enzio on the other wing.

We either win 1 nil or we get battered.
Yep, good call. Not an awful game to watch, both teams trying to go for it, in feeble sort of way.
Good times may be just around the corner for you at Wrexham- won’t be dull, anyway. I can see nothing but lower mid-table grind for us, it’s gonna be hard to get back to attending, whenever that may be, but almost anything is better than this streaming crap.

Yes not completely awful, given the conditions. Both teams had the same issue really with nothing up front. One moment of quality from Young being the difference.

What did I say about late drama in Sutton - Wealdstone games?

What should be 2 points dropped does at the moment feel like a point gained. Heads went totally in the 2nd half there, need really work on our finishing. At least we didn’t lose in the end, I do love Craig Eastmond however

The missed chances in our lastwo games have cost us dearly. We won’t stay in the top 10 if we don’t convert our chances

We were utterly terrible in the first. No attacking play, defensively a shambles, Sutton should have been five or six up. Second half we played like we know we can, went 3-2 up only to concede in the 95th minute of four added minutes. We were excellent in the second period.

Would have taken a point before the game, bitten my own hand off at half time for one, so, whilst disappointed at the last minute equaliser, happy in the end.

Sutton will be wondering how it ever got to that stage.

We are the league’s entertainers.

We are in serious trouble. We keep playing the same failed formation and Wild refuses to change it. Torquay nothing special on that performance in all honesty. Just the slightly better of two average teams on the day.

We were nowhere near are best today but definitely deserved the win. We even blazed a penalty in second half over. Wild seems to set up defensive most the times. When they did come at us in the second half for a while looked useful.

Seems that the table is starting to settle down now bar one or two teams I don’t see much else changing from now until the end of the season.
