Ok I though it’d be safe to have a 2 game all in one match thread as I checked and Carlisle are not playing so we don’t have to worry about their fans crying that they’re too big to not have their own individual thread.

FGR v Grimsby
Yeovil v Lincoln

After McKeowns red card we’ll be calling upon the services of 57 year old Sam Russell between the sticks who I’d expect will get a good reception from the FGR fans.
He always played blinders whenever he played against us and I think for us to get anything here he’s gonna have to play like that again, FGR being really impressive when they spanked us 4-1 opening day.

Can’t really comment on Yeovil v Lincoln as I don’t really know anything about their teams so I’ll leave their fans to comment on that.

My predictions are for us to lose by the odd goal and Yeovil v Lincoln to be a score draw.

Super, super Sam, super, super Sam, super, super Sam, super Sammy Russell. I'm sure he'll get a great reception. Top lad.

Hopefully we'll be head and shoulders better then the Fish yet again, but tbf they do play some good stuff under Jolley so it should be a decent game. Hopefully Danny Collins forgets which way he's shooting again.

I started a bit of chat in the general thread, but I'll move it here...

FGR v Grimsby tomorrow then. Spanked them in this one last year, but I'll gladly take a return to our regular smash and grab 0-1 instead. To be honest, I'd snap your hand off at a point. Can't see us getting anything from this but you never know.

To be honest we owe you one after your smash and grab lucky 4-1 win at Blundell Park.
If we can just keep Danny Mayor quiet we might have a chance.

FGR and Lincoln double please. Lincoln's win ideally by c.20 goal margin if possible.

Shackell's back for us and the Echo are reporting Bostwick might get a breather along with O'Connor so potentially a couple of changes for us.

Still without Andrade who won't be available until after the Bury game.

A win tonight takes a bit of pressure off Saturday.

Hopefully we'll take confidence from two wins and two clean sheets on the bounce although i'm sure Lincoln will be tougher opponents than Mansfield and Notts County. If we only played teams from Nottinghamshire we'd be fine.

Probably an unchanged side from Saturday as Alex Pattison isn't quite ready after injury and we haven't sold Tom James yet. A big test for young Josh Grant at CB but he's settled in well so far. We don't concede many but don't score many either, 0-1 to an unlucky scrambled 96th minute winner.

We appear to be a lot better defensively now so hopefully if you guys do win, it won't be as much of a calamitous display from our defense.

I don't think either Grimsby or Yeovil are going down this year but still one never really knows until round about mid April time so it would be handy if both of them don't win tonight.

We’ve got to have an off day at some stage, you just happened to be it. You made up for it by beating county though.

If you feel that you’d like to further impress me feel free to get something from the game tonight.

A couple of changes for us, Arquin in for Browne and Mugabi in for Gafaiti after his horrible facial injury at the weekend. Both changes give us more physical presence which we'll undoubtedly need. Still playong 4141 by the looks of it.

Two changes for us as well, Shackell back from suspension and Rowe in for McCartan. Frecklington the other one to drop down to the bench.

Guessing Shackell and Bolger will be the centre backs and Bostwick will push forward into midfield.

Come on SOC, you were supposed to get something at Lincoln and now you’re losing here, bloody useless!

Might well be the worst goal we've conceded all season and that includes the dogshit backpasses. We're playing 3 centre halves and he STILL got a free header. Ah well at least we beat the veg when it mattered.

2-0 sounded like it should never have been a freekick that lead to it.

Can't speak for the foul but that's more pathetic defending. Safe to say we didn't turn up that half..

Going to form. Looks like Yeovils defence is non existent.

Town fans demanding 352 be sacked off already. Same fans that never let Hurst try out a new formation for more than one game as well as the ones who wanted Jolley to sack off 433, despite us looking shite whenever we tried 442 and always ended up switching back 20 minutes into games. Clueless.

Doidge going back to FG could be an interesting one.

Mansfield will need to keep an eye out on him next Tuesday
