Yeah it's the same as one of the earlier strikes that Avanti were part of by the sounds of it. There was one train up in the morning (think it might have been when we had Rochdale) but none back.

A couple of options there. They look straightforward with zero opportunity of being stranded. Or if staying over is an option and money is no object then stay overnight in Manchester.

There's also a few longwinded options with a few changes for tomorrow morning of London upto Manchester and then onto Carlisle.
