Penalty right at the end of the half, Miller takes it but a good save from the keeper but the Miller misses an open net with the rebound, what is it with him? 1-0 Crewe, D add any really has his work cut out

Watched it twice looked definite Crawley player with the most blatant hand ball.
Shows what you can miss. I was closer than the ref and would swear blind it was your player.

Entertainment at Crawley though.Four goals. Ref a hate figure not only for the pen. Booked two if ours and Stags players going through on the keeper not even a free kick then he does it again. Ref waved play on. Then the big 9 wipes out out left back and gets nothing but a quick talking to.

Two sides who are shut when the ball is played behind them.

Good game of football first half, I’d take a drab second half if it meant a win though.

Really good first 35. Terrible defending and it’s 1-1, but really should be out of sight. Annoying.

All set up for a classic Stevevansanage injury time winner in the second half.

Swindon well in control, two easy goals, but keep gifting us chances. Darren Drysdale is a fucking bellend.

2-1 down at half time. Through a mixture of our own ineptitude and a shocking referee. I’m not sure if it was a red, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. But he’s let Orient players rugby tackle, put our players in headlocks amongst many things as well as not giving a stonewall penalty. Don’t get me wrong, our players are shocking on both goals, but the ref has spoilt a really good game.

It does highlight the undeniable fact that we’re in a false league position and are only this high due to a favourable run of fixtures at the start of the season. I expect this will be the start of it all unravelling as we come up against competent teams like today.

I think ref blew for the foul on the keeper but let him carry on as he had it in his hands.

We go and concede straight from kick off again, asleep at start of both halfs, unforgivable defending.

Chapman hits the post then Perriera smashes it over from about three yards. Not our day. A Grimsby win incoming! :woot:

Think the first goal wins it. Hopefully it's ours.
Sounds like both teams both absolutely going for it with big chances at both ends.
Big 30 mins coming up.

Indeed. One of the more entertaining 0-0 games, assuming it stays like that. Still think it'll finish 1-0 either way.

End to end. We’re sloppy in possession - could go either way!

Can’t see it ending a draw.

Wouldn't get this type of quality in the National League...:fish:
To be fair to you I went to loads of games last season and I'm struggling to think of one as good as this in terms of quality

Grimsby getting a bit on top at the moment. Like Firthy says we're way too sloppy. Constantly giving it away and loads of loose passes. Grimsby should be looking to bag one here.

Chapman off and Sutton on. We're happy with a point, it seems.

Both teams look like scoring and the ref is pretty defence friendly, all 4 CBs having good games. Wonder if this game could be won by whichever one of those fucks up...

Home fans at Carlisle love a moan don't they, crazy stuff.
They're the better team even with 10 men though, credit where its due.

We're hanging on. We've been naff this half. Can never put in a performance for more than sixty minutes and that's why we won't be anywhere near promotion come May.

Cook off and East on. Grimsby will be disappointed if they don't pick up the three points here.

Sounds like we’re piling in the pressure here, with our record for late goals I’d usually be expecting us to nick it but because it’s Bradford and we never beat them, I’m expecting the sucker punch at the other end.

We'll be sitting back for the next six or seven minutes. We've no threat going forward with the subs. Hughes is weird sometimes.

Ridiculous time to blow the whistle there, that ref was shite. Decent 0-0 that, think both sides will be alright with a point. Either team could have had it but I think overall we edged that. Bradford probably slightly better in the first half but we turned the screw quite a bit in the second half. Lots of good defending from both sides.

Will take that point all day long. As usual, we're decent in the first half and not so good in the second. Not keen on Hughes' subs or tactics at times. Four points against Salford and Grimsby with two clean sheets. Doesn't look too bad, I guess. Just wish we'd turn up for second halfs. Also, niice to see two sides going for it with no time wasting whatsoever. Couple of bookins but I don't think there was a bad challenge or any sort of malice in any minute of the game. I'm gonna go grab my four coats and piss off home. Good luck for the rest of the season, Grimsby.
