Really surprised Cook is on the bench. Your front two haven't had anything yet. Smallwood and Clayton doing okay for me.
Yes I don’t know what we’re doing, we’re playing hoofball so Oliver does suit that game more but the other player is new and looks lost.

We're doing alright until it comes to creating a chance.

Scrappy game, Stockport missed a sitter but nothing in it overall. We’ve resorted to a lot of hoofball and look toothless.

All 3 goals come from individual error, bit of a calamity so far

Been at graft so seen nothing of this, only the score, no surprise to hear of a Killip balls up, Polish lad must be in on Saturday.

Still in with a chance at 2-1

Oliver is more suited to balls being crossed/played in from the wings, hoofball doesn’t actually suit his style

Nearly a second when Killip was stood behind the goal line when a cross came in.No way can he start Saturday.
A Hartley cock up for Carlisle’s second,I’ve seen some poor Pools sides, but not one that shoot’s themselves in the foot as much as this lot.
Somehow we’ve managed to stay in the game, but it’s going to be a tough second half,Carlisle are pretty quick & mobile.

Bradford hasn't shown up this half. Stockport piling on the pressure and you would say they deserve a goal I think. Think it will come for them soon.

Derbyshire on as a sub instead of Cook is a strange one.

Well I predicted a loss so I’ll take it but my god what an awful standard of football, thought I was in a parallel universe where Stockport stayed down and we joined them in non league.

A good result for Bradford, if not a good performance.

Hard to know what else to say about the match. Stockport are good. They look a good bet to be in the playoffs.

I have nothing against Oliver, but I think Cook should be starting.

You know it's been a dull game if nobody tries to kick off on Mercian Way after the match, everyone just wants to go home.

Two sides cancelling each other out, what was annoying was DC not even trying a plan B, the only change was a forced one. The only highlights were Mark Hughes standing in front of a throw-in out of sheer boredom & that #24, the one on Work Experience.

After 60 mins it was dull and DC should have made changes but we had enough good chances to be two or three up by that point and that’s been a problem for us all season.

Bradford were utter bobbins and loved a hoof - should have had a penalty mind. Critchlow dominated Wootton in the air more than any other defender I’ve seen this season but when the ball was at his feet it was quite a sight.

Fairly comfortable win in the end. Don’t think we played brilliantly overall but had by far the better chances and deservedly won. I think if we hadnt gifted that goal right after going 2-0 up it would have ended up a lot more, but that gave Hartlepool a lift and made a game of it for a while.

To stay up, Hartlepool need a new goalkeeper and to keep getting the ball to Umerah. He’s a handful, but Killip is shit. He was lucky not to cost his team another goal.

Killip looked awful on crosses, but I thought he made a couple of decent saves - particular from Senior when he followed up the save that denied Dennis a hat trick. I thought we played well at times but still get the feeling there is more to come from this squad.

First half was a pretty dour non-event this evening, but I thought we were excellent in the second half and deserved to find a winning goal in the end after piling on a lot of pressure. We worked the ball nicely and if we can play like that for the rest of the season we really shouldn't have anything to be concerned about.

The January additions have all impressed, but Arthur Read was the pick of the bunch - he was unbelievable. Connor Wood the only one I'm not too convinced by so far. He seems steady enough but lacks any real pace, so can't get forward with any conviction. The defender always catches him up at which point he just checks back and passes backwards. More suited to playing as a traditional left back but presumably doesn't fit in brilliantly to the way everyone seems to want to play these days.

Killip is garbage, most of us have been saying it for years, he can pull off impressive saves but can't do the basics like claim a cross in the 6 yard box, he's petrified of getting a hit off the oppo so stays on his line like rabbit in headlights, must've cost us a bagful of points this season all on his own, we've just loaned in a 6ft4 keeper from Leicester, seriously can't be any worse than no hands Ben.

Definitely more to come than what we showed tonight. I thought we were good in patches, but can be better overall and will need to be a week today for example.

I was right about it being a tight game...

Both fans saying it was shit because neither side were passing it around at ease. Neither side let the opponents do it IMO. Two evenly matched sides. Would have been a draw 9 times out of 10 that.
