Frustrating game. Should have won comfortably but for some resolute defending from the Imps. Lincoln were playing for a draw for most of the game, and Rhead goes down awfully easily for a big lad. Sour grapes aside, we can't blame anyone but ourselves for not winning that one.

Fair play to their fans though, they kept going throughout.

Our game against Woking next week should be interesting then.

But today we were worse than awful. I'd say 70% of the game was spent in our final third, whether that was them attacking or us passing round the back.

Looking forward to some serious Magic of the Cup and losing 1-0 at Maidenhead to a goal from a set piece to end our season. Ian Devonshire is going to hoof-ball us into oblivion and beyond.

This. But we lost 3-0.

RIP Woking FC Season 2015-16.

Easy for us today, can't remember Sutton having a shot on target, they weren't bad but we never really needed to get out of 3rd gear.
Poor game overall but in the cup a win is a win, 12.5k and a place in the first round. This squad is carrying so much deadwood at the moment though and just too inconsistent.
Unbelievable save from Ross Worner to keep it at 1-0 too which was probably the stand out moment in a very forgettable game.

We were worse than dogshit first half, no wide players available due to injury, suspension or no permission from loan club to play in the cup.
Second half we improved which wasn't difficult given how poor we were in the first. Should have won it really Tom Craddock was set up superbly by Parker but yet again missed the target from inside the box under no pressure. So frustrating!
Halifax do seem to have improved however after a little time under their new manager and the additions to their squad.
The referee was a whistle happy game spoiler - for both sides. Any sliding tackle was outlawed instantly along with any physical contact whatsoever.

Really?? You were at a different game to me then. We were fucking woeful and robbed Sutton of a well deserved replay. 85 minutes to have a shot on goal at home to a lower league part time side? Absolutely fucking disgraceful.

Wealdstone 2-1 Bognor Regis Town (Att: 847)

Jonathan North, what a fucking hero! Two penalties saved (the foul for the 2nd was a joke, never a penalty) but other than that he only had one save to make. Bognor play the game the right way but didn't press particularly quickly and really didn't like attackers running at them.

Definitely over 1,000 in attendance including a large and vocal away following.

Kidderminster v Woking next week should be hilarious. Both teams will manage to lose.

Yessss!! Very happy to be in the first round again. Would love to get Blackpool.

My money is on Salford to be live on TV, with most of the game build up on the class of 92.

For anyone who got through, who do you want?

I would disagree that you were woeful. It was just a case of you taking advantage of the only real defensive mishap of the game. Lots of positives from a Sutton POV (result aside), but we were wasteful, paticularly in the first half. Little annoyed at the end, but then we were always coming in as underdogs.

Got to say the segregation situation was farcical today. I was sold a standing ticket, forced into a seating area because the terrace was quote 'going to be unsafe'. A seating area that was always going to be too small. Finally the stewards saw sense just before kick-off and allowed Sutton fans onto the small terrace.....

Luton away.

Then one of the other big guns away. Portsmouth would be useful for convenience but I'd happily go to Valley Parade or Bramall Lane.

Mate, it's just so frustrating for us who work at the club. We told the stewards about 20 mins before ko to open the terrace because there were loads outside, but as usual they did nothing. It makes the club look amateurish and tinpot.

Or maybe Fleetwood for you?

How about Salford versus FCUM, that would provide even more interest for the media.

A home game against another West Country club would be good in the next round, but I'm not really that bothered, I am just happy that we made it through today.

How do you rate Chris Stokes?

I have been following Rovers for just over ten years, if I was to pick a team from the dozens of players I have seen in that time he would be my left-sided defender, which probably says all you need to know. How do you rate him?

Very good player. He's got strength, decent pace is good in one on ones and is strong in the air, all the attributes needed to be a very effective left back.

Pleased to see him making the step up and doing well.

Those 5 or so Woking fans' ages range from 15-17, youngsters trying to act the big man pretty much

Embarrassing on and off the pitch. Imagine actually trying to kick off at Maidenhead. They all go missing when a big club comes to town though. All 'banned' AFC Wimbledon fans if I rightly remember someone saying on our forum. A fine probably coming our way from the FA due to the use of smoke bombs. Really helpful when we already have no money.

Bamber Bridge fell but FCUM went through to keep my interest in Monday's draw, hope they get a North West tie away from home.
