Davis wouldn't have taken that job if he wasn't in charge of tactics, trust me. He only relinquished full control of transfers because it was gonna be hard for him to regain employment at a professional level again.

Tired display, Daggers looked decent and surprisingly more energetic than us after their game with 10 men on satdy. Not a bad game overall, we had a couple of chances but fair result. Morgan Ferrier's a cracking player at this level.

You need to watch the highlights of our game. Amazing miss, amazing second goal conceded... Don't see how Davis job is tennable.

That was without a doubt the type of performance that gets the manager the sack. Worst of the season so far, we even managed to miss another sitter through David Mooney at 1-0 which may have changed the game. 5 losses in a row, Davis changed the shape of the team when he didn't need to, playing Jobi McAnuff as a holding midfielder FFS.

Gateshead deserved the win, but were nothing special. They spent the whole second half just launching the ball into the channels.

Gatesheads second goal summed up our evening and the last 2 months, I urge everyone to watch it.

If Ling and the owners DO NOT sack Davis after that, then questions will need to be asked of them because that simply wasn't good enough, it was embarrassing.

Decent win for us tonight. Looked comfortable as well. Shame the game last Saturday got abandoned whilst we were winning but the conditions were awful. Solihull away on Saturday, fingers crossed we've turned a corner
