More likely he was enquiring what the keeper's injury was surely ?

Decent point for us, need to follow it up with a win against The Shaymen.

There was no injury, the sub ran round telling him to go down at one point he was leaning against the post shouting and pointing to the ground, the fourth official eventually twigged to what was going on and had to sprint round to the goal line to drag him back to the side of the pitch, I've never seen anything like it at a match, there's gamesmanship and then there's just blatant cheating.

Back to the actual match 1-1 was a fair reflection in the end, it was a typical Pools performance, played decent for 45, score the goal, take our foot of the gas and get punished, decent header from McEveley, unmarked but it was a bullet header. Tranmere probably should've got a second goal whereas we were just hanging on, this side is missing Cassidy massively.

Considering we went behind twice and were outplayed in the 2nd half I guess its a good point. Dagenham beating Macclesfield keeps it nice and tight at the top too!

Davis isn't picking the team or tactics anyway, Martin Ling sits in the stand and is fully miked up each game telling Davis what to do, he also calls all the shots on "in game tactics" and the substitutions. Davis is only there because ML bottled it and went upstairs because he couldn't take the pressure, but still wants all the glory of calling all the shots. So its not Davis you need to question or sack, its Ling. But of course you Orient fans know all this, right?...
Unless you've got some inside info from a good source I can't believe that.

Right now we look like Steve Davis team from his Crewe days.

Absolute scenes at the end. Thoroughly deserved, thought we were quite dominant to be honest.

New lads Hall-Johnson, Gough and in particular Archer making a difference. Archer is different class by the way.

Notice Davis is also playing his old trick of "Slag off the young players even though he hardly plays them".

Seen it all before. You look at the teamsheet when he said that with us and it was 5 loanees, a few experienced signings from elsewhere, Ben Garratt and Ollie Turton. Bet the teamsheet tonight was an experienced one for Orient too...

And they're off.
The wheels, that is.
The scapegoats are already being tied to their posts....
Denton due back on Saturday, God we've missed him.

Haven't really noticed Orient slipping down the table.

How the hell has that happened? Remember York City.

Tired display, Daggers looked decent and surprisingly more energetic than us after their game with 10 men on satdy. Not a bad game overall, we had a couple of chances but fair result. Morgan Ferrier's a cracking player at this level.

If only he had an end product! Yes he scored an open goal but nothing else came from all the good he did. First goal in 434 minutes and we are only 5 points off the top. Said it a few weeks back this league is very poor and is there for the taking of anyone puts in a decent run of 7-8 games on the spin. As it is it's like the first fence at the grand national.

Macc were a very tidy side, more composed on the ball but our nerves were going. Good to get the win no matter how ugly it was.

We sit top of the league, so we'll take that , we beat a lively looking Woking, and all the other results go our way. A comfortable 3-1 win, with Woking playing some good stuff in the middle of the park but they were lacklustre up front and shaky at the back, All three Dover Goals came from corners I believe. but you can only beat what is in front of you think that is now 8 unbeaten in the league
next up to Gateshead , nowhere are me bins

I would rather hammer rusty nails into my testicles than watch an Orient side managed by Steve Davis ever again.

That is all.

They're all distraught at the thought of being leapfrogged by little old plucky Guiseley!

I'm fine with that, it's being underneath Dagenham and a league below Barnet that makes me want to vom.

(and a fuckton behind Brentford and Brighton)

Be glad you didn't have to watch our game tonight. The tactics were simple - no matter where you are on the pitch, hoof it forward as high as you can and hope for the best. Borehamwood were slightly better at it than us but neither team came very close to creating a goal from it.
Mind numbing to watch.

Four out of six is four points more than I expected from these two away games. Need to consolidate it with a positive result on Saturday now.

Another shit keeper we didn't test enough. And Loach shouldn't have kicked the ball out for him to get treatment when he was clearly taking the piss

Good game last night between two evenly matched sides. Atmosphere is better and the team seem to show more when the proper sides play each other. We should really have pressed the accelerator when we got the first as they were on the ropes and second best. In the end, they scored, we seemed to lose belief/go into our shells and Tranny were the better side last 30 mins. Fair result in the end between two sides who'll finish top half.

As for Orient, well we know better than anyone what it's like to be on a downward spiral and getting rid of a losing mentality. We're getting to grips with it now, 13th isn't ideal but we've stopped the rot with our last 10 or so games and if we had a bit more quality upfront and a bit more positivity from the dugout we might be higher, but we've got to show patience with Harrison.

Orient do need to get rid of Davis though. Called it in the summer, he's hopeless. They won't go down but likely to be here for another season at least. It's shit being in this league. Proper shit. But patience is the key. The bigger sides down here likely rise at some stage.

2-0 to the tinpotters. Wow. Superb.
You're not the first set of Tin Potters to win your cup final at The Shay and you won't be the last. Some previous winners are no longer in business to boast about it. Just saying, like. :bdick:

I thought we looked a lot worse after the substitutions, he pushed Deverdics into midfield way too late, the lad was knackered by then after basically running the show from left back and bringing on Simpson for Rodney effectively ended our attacking output, the kid is 17 year old, 6ft5 and not blessed with pace, Tranmere had all the time in the world at the back to ping it around, he's a target man not someone who is gonna press the defence at the end of a match.

If Harrison can't see after last night that Deverdics should be in the midfield then he's never gonna see it, stick Adams back in at left back, Deverdics in centre mid for Woods/Hawkins and once Cassidy is fit again I don't think we'll be that far away from where we want to be.

Really impressed with us last night. Reshuffle in defence replacing Kelleher with Kristian Green made us a lot stronger at the back. This was Money's first match where I've seen a clear game plan.
Also, have Eastleigh reduced their playing budget to improve the ground?
