We beat Barnet 6-2 over our two games this season, which you would think would make us half decent...

But really, what a sorry mess we are. Yet another season passes by without a top-half finish (2007 was our last). We're going absolutely no where.

2012/13 - 16th, 56 points
2013/14 - 14th, 65 points
2014/15 - 15th, 58 points.

I mean the Conference is notoriously difficult but it's not this fucking difficult. Fuck off.

Well done Barnet! Do you get to keep the trophy?!

Macc just fell short but given the financial issues surrounding the club, Askey seems to have done a phenomenal job. I'd not be at all surprised if he's not on a few clubs' radar

Nothing will change until Dorrian fucks off sadly. The man deserves to be pelted with whatever the Lincoln public wish to chuck at him.

Incredible season overall, such a shame the wheels fell off at the end.

Congratulations Barnet.

We scored twice in four minutes of added time with ten men to win 3-2 against Halifax. That's six points from Aspin's lot this year. B2TF seems to be doing a sponsored silence in aid of Halifax's poor form. :woo:

In other news, tally-ho Alfreton - going out in spectacular fashion today. :2thumb:

Interestingly, we've been in the division for the same years.

12th - 62 points
9th - 68 points
7th 76 points.

We'll get relegated next year.

YES BOYSSSSSSSSS!!!

Was quite funny watchinng your chairman seemingly proud that they had set a conference titles record. Worth getting relegated for three times then,

Don't know what has been more of a disappointment, our end of season form or finding out that it'll be Teengae Fan Club supporting the Foo's in Manchester next month.

If the Non-League Paper doesn't have a front page headline of ALF' WIEDERSEHEN then I'll feel very let down.

You can either be the type of person to see the good inamomgst the bad, or the bad inamomgst the good. He, like I, are the former.

Would you not be better having the biggest part time budget rather than the lowest full time budget?

Why?

Should they have tried to not win the league?

Talking to a load of halifax fans in pubs after the game, my opinion about them has improved a lot. It's just B2TF or whatever his name is who is a massive cock!

Anyway 2 goals in the last couple of minutes with 10 men to win the game, nice way to end the season.

Congratulations Barnet.

Congrats Barnet. Well deserved. Still fancy our chances in the play offs. I'm not being bitter but seriously city? You've just won league one and promoted to the championship why are you still so concerned about us? I wouldn't mind if you admitted it but we're a ' pointless non league club ' but you still manage to have a thread on your forum with 15,000 replies! Anyway looking forward to FGR Wednesday. I'll be there... Regardless of what end I'm in

They'll be gone in about an hour. Think they're giving us 800

Shirley they have to give you a higher number than that? Guiseley and Brackley gave us both 1000 away tickets in our playoff wins, and I think they were made to give that many as a minimum for the league.

Forget about City, they're light years ahead of us but somehow they still care, despite Cardiff being their "true rivals now". We should be doing better but I don't care, i'm delighted with how we did today, we didnt win the league and it's a shame but hopefully we built momentum. A few may have thought we'd be standard "bigger" team but I think we've been fair throughout the year and congrats to Barnet again for the title win.

Massive credit to the players that they produced a consummate performance when the pressure was at its highest.

I've enjoyed our two years back here, but, I won't lie, I'm delighted to get back to the football league.

Good luck next year to those fighting to get out. Some good teams down here that deserve to get back. A lot of good fans too that deserve it.

What a stupid comment, the whole purpose of being in a league, whichever league you are in, is to try and win it. I've seen Barnet win 7 championships in my time of supporting them. 3 times Athenian League champions, Southern League division one south champions and now 3 times Conference champions. I'm equally proud of everyone of them.

Not to mention the fact that we had never previously been in the League before our first Conference win so we've only been relegated from the League twice.

Speculation already on the Rovers forum that Gas fans have been buying up tickets in the home stands then bragging about it on Facebook. Mind you, as I don't think they go on sale to non-Season Ticket holders until midday I'm not sure how they have managed to do this.

The following statement is from the club website regarding tickets:

  • Any tickets bought must be collected from The New Lawn. Although you are still able to buy your tickets online these cannot be printed off at home or sent to your smartphone. They must be collected from FGR during the week or on match day.
  • Supporters buying tickets must have purchased tickets for a previous Forest Green Rovers match. Anyone who does not apply to this will be cross referenced with Bristol Rovers ticket database so no away fans buy tickets in the home section. This may mean a delay of up to 24 hours however once it has been checked and cleared your tickets will become available.
Personally I haven't a problem with this as long as everyone behaves themselves, too much segregation in every level of society, football is often better when it isn't. Two huge games for the West Country, hopefully they will be remembered for the quality of football and occasion, rather than for completely the wrong reasons.

Correct, we Shaymen are great aren't we, although I am surprised you've heard about my massive cock. :bdick:
