Poor old Doyle and Jerry Yates. Both getting slated by their so-called fans. All they both need is a manager who knows his arse from his elbow.

Can't say as I know much about Evatt apart from his playing days.
Personally can't abide the smug prick Kewell and stunned he has got another job given his poor managerial record.
Oldham may well rue the decision to appoint him
Given Oldhams record with managers id put kewell as more likely to be the first sacked.

How very comforting for the Crawley squad as they sit in their hotel waiting for the game at Oldham today!

Casey

Stayed in a Bury hotel.

Just watched the highlights of our game against Mansfield. Genuinely amazed on how we weren't awarded a penalty. Beggars belief.

Anybody else fanbase showing a massive lack of bottle already? Our first poor league performance of the season, and a deserved defeat admittedly, but our entire squad and manager is being written off

ours were a bit like that after the Newport game last week, even though we would have got a point if we hadn't gifted Newport the winner. we have 2 points from 3 games - but could easily have had 7 points. We are starting pretty much like last year - we had 7 points from the 1st 9 games - but still won the league...
It is interesting to see other fans reactions though - Masi51 is a great example - he wears his heart on his sleeve about Bolton and was certain they would easily go up. Now he's a bit more uncertain - and should they lose the next 2 matches he'll start turning into HelloGregory....

No i wont i hope....Yes i do because i bought into Evatt and his positivity. He is fortunate that fans are not allowed back into stadia. It will give him more time to try and get things right....
He has to swallow his pride and admit some of his signings are simply not good enough.
We have 8000+ season ticket holders and to a man they will say Darcy is better than anything he has signed yet he wont play him.

I think it's the life of a football fan.
Lot of negative comments about us yesterday, I'll openly admit that I expected a win.
But Harrogate deserved a point and 0-0 was fair.
Our boards are quite negative with last year's player of the season copping some flak after his first 5/10 performance in 18 months.
Fickle fans everywhere Conker .
The thing with fans like us lot on here is we are genuine, nothing worse than coming home from a game with 6-0-6 on the radio.

We've got John from Cornwall to talk about Man United's game away at Newcastle today.
Hi John did you go to the game ?
Errr no but it sounded terrible. Solskjaer out .

I'm not sure if that is better or not. Aren't both places under a local lock down?

Casey

Hotels are just as safe as football grounds.

They are amusing. I saw some fans calling Coughlan a flop already. He inherited a team that were overweight, lacking discipline and short of confidence. We are in much better shape now. In time he will be the best manager we have appointed.

We also could easily have got 3 points yesterday if we hadn’t gifted the ball away leading to a goal and had scored our chances.

We also could have got a point had we not gifted Cambridge 2 cheap goals in the first half on the opening day.

A lot of ifs and buts could put almost any team on a higher Points total. But the harsh facts are we are shit, have 3 points and have been guilty of gifting opponents easy goals.

Though there are more questions now than at the beginning of the season, fans wanting him out are ridiculous, we’ve got to remember who we are.

as I did say on stagsnet though he’s got a catalogue of things to sort out
a - the goalkeeper appears to have turned into Logan
B - the defence look hopeless - the first goal for exeter yesterday warrented the entire defence and GK in for extra training
C - the forwards together yesterday simply do not work and this needs changing for the Newport game
D - the midfield keeps doing a Madeline mccann
E - the gaps that Exeter had to run into between our midfield and defence was alarming
F - there appears to be no plan B other than to boot the ball forward to 2 forwards who’ve the turning circle of the titanic or into the carpark
G - that again, he made the subs we were crying out for for about 15 minutes after we went behind, maybe had he been proactive than once again reactive we might not have lost.

I can’t understand why, 5 games into the season these problems haven’t been addressed - yes no-one expects perfection but wow.

Once we sort out A and B everything else should take care of itself.

You had to get beaten in order for that to happen? Some people really do lead a charmed life.

I would be slightly concerned as we seemed to want to give you at least a point with defensive change after defensive change, thankfully your shooting was pretty abysmal. However, you seemed to do pretty much every better than us and I think that'll show over the season, you'll finish above us.
We were missing two of our regular front three on Saturday and may be without them for the visit of Barrow too. With Patrick and Toure in the squad we might have posed more of a constant threat up front, and could perhaps expect to get a goal in games like Saturday's. I wouldn't say errant shooting was the reason why we lost though, I don't think our chance creation, even if it looks good on paper, is that great and we have too many mistakes in us.

Lost 2-1 to Bradford today, not sure if it'd be fair to blame the preparations but we weren't really at it today and Bradford got a deserved win.

Despite being second best we actually led at half time, good work by Dinanga to get the ball into the box, and good persistence by List saw us take the lead, very static defending by Bradford, waiting for the ball to arrive in the box rather than attacking the cross.

Bradford had a couple of very presentable chances to level before getting the equaliser, their goal coming from a great delivery from the right and Novak got a deft touch on the ball to beat the keeper. We were a little unfortunate with the winner, we were temporarily down to 10 men, no one filled in for Prosser at centre back and Novak was left unmarked to make it 2-1. Didn't deserve the point though so can't complain.

Whilst we were poor today we were still far more competitive than last season, I know it's not much of a benchmark! Was impressed by Osbourne and Dinanga today, both coming out of non-league and neither looked out of place. List looking good so far this season, I remember thinking we'd pulled off a coup getting him from Gillingham last season only to be disappointed, has been great this season, hopefully there's more to come.

Hats off to Stevenage for playing at all. Not a bad game and they certainly look to be a massive improvement on last season's team.

Your manager's post game comments show his class, wish we had a striker like he was.
