Go on then, let's have a thread.

Imps away at Plymouth. Have been a bit sub-par for a couple of weeks, and were lucky to draw against Swindon midweek, but am feeling optimistic about this one. The weather will be nice, Appleton will have given them a rocket, and last night's events I think will have given everybody a lift. Plymouth are a decent side, but I'm going for 2-0 to the Imps.

Sunderland at home for us. Looking forward to this one. The away game was one of the few games we’ve completely not turned up in this season. So hoping we give a good account of ourselves here. Our home form is very very good as it has been for the last 2 and half years. We barely ever lose at home. Only Peterborough and Doncaster have got better home records this season. After the curve ball on Tuesday with us changing formation for the first time in forever, it’s abit harder to predict our starting line up. It was somewhat or a success on Tuesday but I’d still like to see us go back to our tried and tested 4-3-3 and bring Dale in for Porter.

Lancashire derby tomorrow against Accy who for me have been the outstanding team in league 1 this season. John Coleman has done a superb job backed by an excellent Chairman. Somehow Fleetwood need to find 3 points, a few key players out with Covid so great chance for some of the academy lads to step up ( again ) and stake a claim for a first team spot. We have done pretty well in the last 2 home games and were certainly unlucky not to take all points against the Addicks. Defensive wise we are one of the top teams but are very shy at putting the ball in our opponents net, that being the case going for a narrow 1-0 home win ( please )

There is a feel good factor back at my club with the new ownership and coupled with the fact we are finding some form lately under Lee Johnson we are playing some decent stuff, we had to get shot of Jurassic Parkinson and bringing McGeady back was totally the right decision especially as he has 10 assists in 14 games, Parkinson completely froze the lad out which still baffles me to this day because McGeady has unbelievable quality (still prone to mistakes though, overplaying etc). Also Charlie Wykes banging them in due to how much more attacking we are and it’s good to see the lad having that support up top since ditching parkinsons dinosaur tactics. We are threadbare at the back as we have a lot of injuries in that department which could be a weakness but the cover has stepped up even though Luke O’Nien was signed as and meant to be a Midfielder he is so versatile and will literally play anywhere you ask him.
Crewe poses a very difficult threat and i’ve been impressed with some of your results this season and judging by reports your style of play is meant to be good so even though i’d prefer a win after 3 on the bounce for us my head says we will revert back to our favourite scoreline of 1-1 and you can guarantee if Mandron plays he will score past us. Always liked Crewe so good luck for the rest of season after today.

Tough game today at home to a seemingly stumbling Doncaster, might be the right time to play them.

Play like we did against Hull and I'd expect us to win. Play as we did against Northampton and previous sides, they'll win by a couple.

Hoping we turned a corner in the second half against Hull and maybe the postponement of Tuesday’s game will also have helped. The defence has been all over the shop since Balcombe knocked Anderson’s lights out in the Fleetwood game so I’m hopeful that they’ve managed to get some communication sorted out. Looks as though Ipswich are finally starting to show some form, looking forward to a tough but good game.

I'd be cautious if I were you. Our home record this season has been extremely patchy. As bad as you think your team is, we are more than capable of playing an absolute stinker.

A neutral could have probably enjoyed that first half. Could easily be 2-2.

Stupid foul for the free kick that led to the goal, all our shots look like they’ve been kicked by a two year old, zero power.

The season is over for us, big rethink needed in the summer as some of these lads aren’t upper league one standard which should be our aim. Moore needs more help with signings as well as quite a lot of his signings have been dire.

WELL IN TOWN!

Should have been more comfortable.

What on earth is gunna happen with Lambert with imminent takeover? 2 wins against the top 6, 1 goal conceded in 4 games... Oh, to be an Ipswich Town supporter; it's never simple is it?!

Plymouth 4 - 3 Imps

Well what a game that was. We didn't turn up for 15 mins and found ourselves 2-0 down, 2 awful goals to concede. Got to grips and were the better size for the next hour and got ourselves 3-2 up. Hopper had a great chance to make it 4. Plymouth then broke Jorge Grant - looks a season ending injury and won it in the 90th minute.

Personally draw was a fair result but we and not for the first time just didn't turn up.

Losing Grant to add to injuries to Walsh and Bridcutt are massive and will see us slide down the table. Plymouth were able to make attacking subs and had about 4 strikers, our lack of depth shows - nothing on the bench to chance attacking wise.

Wish we could play at Home Park every game, good surface which is ideal for how we want to play.

Dreadful game - again. Goal down - again. Keeper injured in the warm up meant we had our 19 year old youth teamer making his debut.

Can give him the benefit of the doubt although it was bad error for their goal.

Cobblers keeper was an absolute nightmare, though. They’ll struggle to stay up with him between the sticks.

Great free kick from Twine and a huge blunder for Pitman's winner makes it 7 from 9. Ugly performance. Brilliant 3 points.

Got to feel bad for Brady really, creating chances but zero finishing quality and constant goalkeeper or defensive howlers. Got to be us done now, lost or drawn with everyone around us in the relegation zone and still not won in 2021.

There was very little quality on show this afternoon. Neither club could complain if they finish bottom 4.

I would say it would probably be inevitable at the moment. Burton and Wigan probably working at the same level based on recent games, but in all honestly Ipswich looked as bad in their recent game, I dont think you see that much quality full stop in this league.

Sometimes I think with this year, you've got to just be grateful about not being in a bury type situation, and take everything else as an extra.

That was bloody disappointing. We were miles better than Sunderland for 75% of that game and they've managed to grab a point with 2 late strikes from distance.

74% possession and 14 shots away from home but never looked like winning the game, just awful in front of goal, we are a shadow of the team that got us into the top six

Don't do twitter but was told to have a look following our game, it's a real cesspool isn't it? People celebrating injuries and trolls left, right and centre. Don't think i'll be looking at it again, real dregs of society

A draw was probably a fair result, but when you are awarded a penalty mid way through the 2nd half and miss -that really hurts
Accy are a good side and for the first 20 minutes dominated the game. Fleetwood gradually clawed their way back into it and would be pleased to go in level at half time
Fleetwood upped their game in the second half, Camps had easily his best game for a long long while and Burns was a constant threat on the right. Young Ged Garner had a really good game so plenty of positives -but no 3 points !!
