Today won't be easy, for sure. Macc will come out of the blocks fighting after last Saturday - realistically a poor result today and they're out of the title race. They'll know that I'm sure!

Having said that, if we can survive the first 15/20 minutes I fancy us to get a result - it's that initial reaction to last week that I'm worried about re: Macc.
I agree, form book out of the window a little as they'll be desperate to win.

But so should we. I'm not as confident of a rovers win as Macclesfield fans are

Macc were out of the title race last week, effectively 8 behind with 6 to play means Barnet, Bristol and Grimsby would all need to lose 3 games and that aint happening . Their concern now is staying in the playoffs imo.

Not sure Macc are showing anything at the moment for you to be worried of. We have the toughest game of the day for the top three, Alfreton are unbeaten in 6 and have only conceded 1 goal in those games.

We are definitely out of the title race, however with all the team bonding and such gone on this week there is an air of positivity coming out the club this week. They seem pumped up for the fight today, they will want to make up for the last performance on BT Sports. It is going to have to be a complete transformation of performances though if we are to even get a point today.

Been feeling under the weather this week but feel well enough for todays game. Hopefully the lads reward me (unlike Tuesday night)

More often than not we always improve I performances when the top sides come to the Impact. Simple as it has to be 100% better than Tuesday. We looked jaded and off the pace then. Hoping they all hada good rest and are raring to go.

Id be happy if we game Barnet a game and lost by the odd goal. That would fll me with belief. Id be obviously delighted with anything more than that but in all honesty I cant see it.

Barnet Fans -. Any Idea how many Bees are travelling? 300-400?

Difficult to tell, judging by the forum then everyone. I think it'll be around 400.

Hopefully we turn up today but our season is over so not much to motivate the team as indicated by recent results against Dartford and Alfreton. Woking to win relatively comfortably I think.

Expecting Grimsby to destroy 10 man Welling as well.

I won't lie and say that I am hoping for anything other than a Bristol City win today, which might drag Macclesfield into the battle for a play-off place. A draw between Eastleigh and Gateshead would also go down very well in this part of the World. Rovers really need to pick up a morale boosting win today, after an unconvincing draw and a defeat in the last two games, get the ball back on the ground and start playing it rather than just humping it over the top. Defeat for Rovers and wins for Eastleigh and Woking would see us drop to seventh after being fifth for what seems like an age. All set for a nervy afternoon!

You miserable sods this is the last time this season

Macclesfield v Bristol Rovers
Supposedly Bristol Rovers hardest game although Macclesfields form has deserted them and you get the impression their fans are hoping just to better the 4-0 defeat they suffered in the last meeting of the sides. Rovers will be missing a few due to suspension and international duty but really most can only see one winner.

Alfreton v Barnet
Alfreton failed to break away from the relegation chasers on Tuesday so will hope to get something to keep their decent run going and keep the resurgent Nuneaton at arms length. Barnet squeezed past Alfreton at home with a 90th minute winner last time so this is far from a foregone conclusion

Chester v Woking
Chester appear to have eased off a bit in recent games but you would still expect them to provide a challenge for the form side of the division. Probably not enough of a challenge to keep Woking from targeting the Play-offs

Dartford v Altrincham
If Dartford want a chance of escape then this is must win, Alty don't seem to really care much.

Dover v Telford
Dovers narrow defeat has probably finished their play-off dream, while Telford showed the cameras they arent totally dreadful. EXpect Dartford to be too strong.

Gateshead v Eastleigh
I'm going with this one as the days biggest game, both sides desperate for points. Gateshead out of the running if they lose.

Kidderminster v Braintree
Not much riding on this for two sides just seeing the season out.

Lincoln City v Forest Green
The free coaches will descend on Lincoln in the belief they can walk off with the points. Lincoln currently only play well against Dover so I can't see this going any other way than for FGR

Nuneaton v Halifax
Clean sheet specialists versus the draw specialists. Anyone want to make a guess on the likely result? I think this maybe the game where both sides break their runs with Nuneaton being without their keeper and playing a side that want to win.

Southport v Torquay
You would expect Southport to win this and secure their position in the league with this game. Torquay will be glad when it's all over.

Welling v Grimsby
Welling were absolutely appalling against Barnet so this should be an easy one for Grimsby. The only factors going against this are Wellings narrow pitch and the predicted wind which might make it more difficult to break down a team that will play with eleven behind the ball.

What a joker! You make ours and Grimsby's games sound like penalty kicks and as though your playing bloody Barcelona! You do realise that Macclesfield are about 20 places above Alfreton?!?!

I meant as in how can we playing Bristol City.

Ah, I get it now!

Both teams pretty poor so far, us particularly! Can't seem to string two passes together, hopefully improve in the second half.

Rubbish atmosphere, rubbish game and 2 poor teams, with Macclesfield looking better so far.
Balanta needs to come off for Dawson 2nd half and a change of tactics needed.

Did you not realise Barnet are playing the equivalent of Barcelona every week so any result is a bonus for them!

Please don't mess this up Macc. I'll even forgive you for beating us earlier this season if you keep this up.

What an awful game of football. Poor in all departments. Unless we get lucky on the results later, that's the autos off for me
