Played well last 20, didn't turn up for the first 70. Didn't deserve that at the end but you can always rely on Ben Spillip to steal the limelight again. Why was he playing?

We can bitch and moan (rightfully) about Hartley, Singh and even Curle who's starting to get grief, but Killip is going to send us down all on his own, he's an absolute abortion of a keeper, had fuck all to do most of the match, the only save he has to make in the second half ended up being a goal, first is comical, glued to his line as per fucking usual and he seems to have the full of himself attitude cos he's getting stick, the lad is garbage, Braintree was his level.

We're as good as down, nothing on that pitch to give me hope, I wouldn't blame Umerah if he fancied a swift exit back down South just to get away from this pack of fannies we call a first team.

Rovers better second half, with Mellon geeing up the fans, though Orient seemed to have weathered the storm when we made a double sub. Deserved the win on balance, decent enough game, but both sides may think could do better.

I reckon we need 8 wins from 18, another 24 points to get to 46 which would be safety for me. Not a hope in hell, all the others apart from Dale have at least 2 or even 3 games in hand. We are fucked.

Embarrassing to go out the league after 2 seasons but that's what will happen.

Well not every game can be played so nicely can they?
Just be happy with the win and stop putting us down for stuff that doesn't matter, we're still in the mix for the automatics.

I am happy with the win you parakeet. I’d rather win a shit game than lose an entertaining one. I just say how I see things and today both teams contributed to it being a poor game.

We were awful today. If we don't get back to playing even close to decent our season will fizzle out. No disrespect to Wimbledon but when they can take 3 points off you, you know you're miles off it. Two awful sides on today's evidence.

Different game 2nd half. 4 ht subs from Harrogate and they looked much better for it. Toughed it out for 3 points, which on overall balance we just about deserved. Our squad looks strong now and injuries almost all gone (for now). If we can keep most the side fit we may yet surprise a few this season.

Today's game went exactly as expected. As above, I think we had our first shot on 95 mins.

Northampton knew every move we'd make and snuffed out pretty much everything. All our changes were shit and we finished the game with three wingers and a target man coming on and all struggling to get in the game.

Feels like our season is done and the next four months will just be treading water, keeping out of trouble.

Pretty much this, we were as bad as I've seen us this season in the second half. Hopefully Newby and Young freshen up the attack as we've been worked out by the majority of teams. We will just stroll to a mid table finish and although it's boring we'd have all taken it prior to the season starting.

lost 2-0 to a reasonable Northampton side. We were the better side 1st half, but Northampton upped it in the 2nd half and deserved a win.
Game might have been different if the ref had a backbone - Marc Leonard was lucky not to see red for numerous fouls - the 1st of which the ref went to his pocket then changed his mind and it wasn't until the 4th or 5th that he got booked (All fouls were on Tom White). That said he let the game flow more than most refs do and didn't fall for a lot of the play acting by Appere and co.
Northampton will probably end up somewhere between 2nd and 5th (behind Stevenage)

Completely fed up of this club. The owners a disgrace, the managers tactics are mental and the football is disgusting to watch, and the players are totally out of their depth.

There’s only one way this is going I’m afraid. It’s amazing how much has changed in 18 months or so

My head hurts just reading that, fantasy land. Its Jannick Gers with HOOC/NWC organisers and one or two others I've heard. Don't think it's credible.

I'm coming round to accepting relegation to the other board, a decent owner to build a club with a plan and structure in place, and over time we might have a viable club.

7 wins, 3 draws, 8 defeats might keep us up. Fancy it? Even if we did it'd be more of the same next year with the current doyles at the helm.

Cracking win for mansfield with over 8,000 at field mill with a local(ish) derby over doncaster.

Much needed given how poor we’ve been this year to date and a massive confidence booster. Special mention to lucas akins for his performance today

If we had put as much EFFORT into the first 60, As we did the last 30 we would have walked.

Killip does not pick the team, Blame whoever does.

I think we're a mid table L2 club based on today.

The same as you.

Much better from us today, lad from Bristol Rovers never stopped running and I'd say we edged it. Tight game with few chances and Kane Hemmings missing an open goal from two yards out at the end is well worth a watch on the highlights. Unbelievable miss. Not to scare Orient fans or anything, but they're in danger of replicating our 2012/13 season if they replicate that performance every week. Passed it sideways nicely but we didn't look in that much trouble for most of the game.

In all honesty we may well finish mid table but we are of the same quality as the teams in the play off position's at the moment. This is league 2. League 2 is much of a muchness.

oh everyone’s crap in this league.

leyton orient and stevenage at the top 2 sides by a mile, if they can do it anyone here can believe they can.

i’d be saying the same if we were up there.

It’s about being less shit than others which they’re both doing better than the rest of us (i predicted we’d finish them both hahah)

Yes because we have the best manager in the league, a Championship defender and we have the league's top goal scorer too, yes one Kristian Dennis!

And don't be telling us that everyone in this league is crap outside the top 2 because it looks more like everyone who's outside the top 4 are shit and that's not us.

Everyone in this league is exactly that, that carlisle are sniffing around the top 3 proves my point.

Chuck a bit of money at it or go on a good run and anyone can fly. (apart from mansfield who’ll fuck it up)

Well that's what's interesting about this league, doesn't mean everyone is 'crap', it's just not so predictable like the top ends of the other leagues in England that are so often now the same clubs going up and down.

You're really sour because you can't get out of this league when having a supposedly decent enough team to do so every season.

Carver I’m surprised to see you praising the team when you’ve said every other team in this league is shite and Carlisle should be top of it. The fact we’re 9 points adrift of your 1st place says we’re underachieving right?

And who is this championship defender youre harping on about?

Tbh i’ve quite a soft spot for carlisle and wish them all the best but that’s utter bollocks.
