Home to Plymouth for us.

We've been very patch at home under Appleton and I can't see that changing tomorrow. We're missing five first teamers - no Jackson, no Walsh, no McGrandles, no Maguire and no Hopper (now out until January with a stress fracture of the shin), which is right through the spine of the team and all of whom would start if fit so it's a tough old time at the minute, compounded by a small squad.

I doubt we'll fill the bench again. I think we've not filled it more than we've filled it this season!

With our injuries, I'm really not expecting much from our home game against Rotherham

Away to Doncaster for us. We're the leagues top scores and in thrird, against Donny who have conceded 17, what on paper looks like an away win, probably won't be, we're 9 games unbeaten, but have never won away at Doncaster.

Don’t worry, you should put a minimum of 4 past us tomorrow

Not being fooled by Charlton's lowly position and expect a very hard game. Fleetwood are doing pretty well but we need 3 points form somewhere as draws are no good when you languishing near the bottom
Hopefully Callum Morton will be back and if Shayden Morris is fit that will be a real bonus. We are scoring freely which is great news but also conceding in similar ratios. A clean sheet will be a first this season but hey ho a jammy win by whatever means will go down well with the faithful

I think most teams will have more than one striker available at present, as that’s it until Maguire gets fit.
We have one striker at the club, excluding our youth team player, and he is doubtful for Saturday

I think you’re forgetting Akinde (easily done), but yeah quite a few clubs are wafer thin in certain areas.

Gillingham away. Even in the seasons when we've pissed this league we never won there. Will be a tough game.

Shrews at home. Assuming they've done their homework & know we have problems breaking teams down who sit deep it will be a close game. Doesn't help when we have the bad trait of always conceding the first goal which gives teams the incentive to defend a lead at our ground. Not a problem away from home as even when we go a goal down away its unusual for a home team to just sit back so they play into our hands for the most part. Really due a win at home but can easily see this being a frustrating draw

Agree with everything you say so its games like this that Evatt needs a plan B
For me we need to completly change the system at times and maybe go 442.....Bakayoko if fit to play alongside doyle and only one holding midfielder [MJ Williams]
We need teams to want to come out and have a go or the 4,2,3,1 system can be frustrating.

I was trying to forget Akinde PUB.
If we have to rely on him being in the mood we are royally screwed.

Cambridge at home, abit like Morecambe the other week a home game we really need to be looking at winning if we're to climb the table, but like the Morecambe game it won't be as simple as that. Cambridge have got some decent results this season, and will also fancy there chances. Looking forward to seeing J'Neil Bennett and Scott Kashket who have given us much more attacking threat.

Home to bang-in-form Sunderland. Another dispiriting defeat beckons.

Strange to say, but our new 3-at-the-back formation which has yielded results of 2-2, 2-2 and 1-2 is actually working OK and seems to suit us. The main problem is that we are making huge individual mistakes to gift the opposition goals and we have a striker regularly missing absolute sitters.

We don't have a bad record against Sunderland, generally, but as clubs we seem to be heading in opposite directions at the moment. I'll take a draw but realistically expecting a 1-3 defeat.

Cambridge need to bounce back after our first poor performance of the season vs. Gillingham. What we did last season very well was follow up a loss with a win and I trust us to be resilient, but an away point would still be a decent return.

I don't know if Crewe have changed their style this year but last time we played them they wanted to keep possession and perversely when we have less of the ball we seem to do better - e.g. winning Vs. Bolton and Pompey followed up by one point from Gillingham and Fleetwood when we had a higher percentage of possession.

I expect us to return to a 4-2-3-1. Might see Lankester or Hoolahan ready to start in the 10 role but May most likely.

No chance of winning today our record there is abysmal, been saying we are due a win there for too long that I've accepted it will never happen again.

Maybe I oversold our resilience a bit - already two down at Crewe...

Weve been really poor today up to now. Shocking goal to give away but Oxford fully deserve it, they’ve dominated us in midfield.

He’s so so good. If we don’t go up(and I still think it’s a massive ask) I don’t think he’ll be here next season anyway. Santos has been immense today too. We are looking a bit complacent. Need a third.

We haven’t been absolutely at it again today. We’ve been decent and certainly better than the Charlton game midweek. But we were far better against Sunderland, Rotherham and Burton and only got a point from the 3 games. Both goals were absolutely quality though. Sarce goal must be a contender for goal of the month.

The last few games have really exposed our squad depth, our first XI is competitive enough but as soon as we're missing a few players we're way off it. Rotherham are so so comfortable.
