Fantastic first half performance today. Managed the second half well in atrocious conditions.

No doubt the game would have been abandoned in the second half if the scores were level, but it would have been very hard on us after basically winning the game in the first 45.

The 3-4-3 had been looking good in previous games without getting the results, but it really came off today. First two goals were great moves followed by two long overdue poacher's efforts from Marquis. It's unusual to look down the team and say that every player was outstanding but that was the case today.

Hopefully the two week break won't break our momentum.
A tremendous result mate and well done. How can any of us call football when the results are so topsy turvy. Pleased for your 'management' who have experienced some trying moments. Keep the faith eh.........

I think we didn't press you so high in the second half, which is understandable as that tactic takes a lot out of the players, and they sometimes drop off a bit in the second half. That, coupled with Herbie Kane going off after an hour or so, meant our ball retention wasn't so good and you were able to put a few dangerous crosses in. They are our Achilles heel, and when you scored from one I wouldn't have been surprised if you'd got another.

Thought we weathered the storm though and looked dangerous ourselves on the break, and we have a real craftsman in James Henry, who took his goal superbly. You could have had a penalty late on, it was definitely a push in the back of your attacker, but the ref missed a foul on one of ours in the build up to that move, and I've got a feeling he was levelling things up? It's not right, but it happens, and in a not particularly dirty game, he still managed to let a lot go.

This is not as easy a league as it used to be, and I hope you don't become another Sunderland, as I find your fans much more level headed than the "we should piss this shite league" lot from the north east.
You lot will never go up. Just too studenty an area

I’m probably wasting my time but do you actually know what the word pacifist means?

And there's the confirmation that you've never been to Oxford, Lance.

Been to Oxford over ten times mate. Remember battering your lot in 2000 and we did you at home on a Friday night in 05. Bet you werent there though you student

The worlds absolutely lost on you, I wont wait with baited breath on us meeting because one of two things will happen, you won’t turn up because you never do or I will have shuffled off this mortal coil.

I think you're so deluded/disturbed that you actually convince yourself that some of this shit is true.

That second half was the worst 45mins under Artell. Ridiculously shit from manager and every single player.

As for having us run out to Sweet Caroline… you can fuck right off.

Sweet Caroline is getting tedious in the extreme now. We play it after we win at home and I wish we'd use a song relevant to Oxford and stopped using SC. Could even try different songs until one clicks if a song must be played.

We've been using it since 2015, and it goes back to the Austrian tour, when it came on in the bar we were all in with the players. DE thought it was a good idea to play it after games from then on.

Personally I think it's crass, and unoriginal, and I cringe when they play it. Time to stop and bring back one of the old favourites from the Manor era, When You're Smiling.

Sweet Caroline is jarring at the best of times, the fact it is such a cliche piece of junk makes it all the worse. It was so much more offensive considering Blue Moon (our song, not Man City’s btw) was dropped in favour of it. Our “PA guy” for the last decade or two, who was a bit of a club legend, passed away over the summer. He was original in his thinking and even birthed a new club anthem which also seems to have been binned by the new guy. Sad.

Let’s be honest, it doesn’t matter what music is played it’s all crap. It’s tacky. We do the same and I hate it.
when it comes to atmosphere, and ingenious ways at matches to get things going, visit Poland. I went to Legia Warsaw on Thursday night and that was something else. Amazing atmosphere throughout.

We don’t play music when we score now which is great, not that we score that often though

I’d just like to confirm that Bolton do indeed have the best player in this league in Oladapo Afoloyan, Masi said so which is good enough for me as I’m sure he’s seen every team in this league play multiple times to be able to gauge such a solid opinion as ‘the best by a country mile’.
You need to listen to me

Is Declan John still the best left back outside the prem? He had a shocker at our place and this £10m winger they’ve got was in Iredale’s pocket all game.
Seems that winger got out of Iredales pocket. Then waltz around him turning him inside out before lasing the ball into the top corner from 20 yards.......ohhh dear

In October i told you Dapo was the best player in lge 1......SVH also mocked Dapo at the same time telling all that he was in Iredales pocket........Seems he was let out last Tuesday to waltz around Iredale and stick it in the top corner.

Dapo must have scored double figures this season outside the box......Everything clicking since Rishi Sunak invested £5m for a 8% stake in the club

He looked good before he went off too… he out of contract in the summer? Would be a great option on left of a 3 for us

Yes out of contract. Championship clubs apparently looking at him.

Ha ha brilliant

By the way Barry Bannan is probably the best player in League One on a consistent basis.
Bannon is quality no doubt......Is he better than Dapo not a chance. Bannon is assured on the ball great at set pieces but he will never have that something that would have given him a regular Premiership career.
The same for Lee they stand out in lge 1 but could they step up not so sure
