* Aldershot picking up form ahead of their fixtures with both Macclesfield and Bristol Rovers. They can take points off both if they want.
Considering we gifted you 6 as a late christmas present that wouldn't be very fair - we've already taken 2 off Rovers this season so be thankful
Seriously though, with us now almost being out of trouble - these are effectively nothing to lose games, and hopefully will be treated as such. Very little pressure (if any) on us to get a result and if we get anything its a massive bonus.
On last night, took us until the 2nd half to break down a solid Dover side but once we did the game opened up. We almost threw it away but 20 seconds after nearly conceding for 2-2 with what looked like a defensive mix up McCollin killed the game off on the break.
McGinty had a decent game, Saunders and Stevenson are getting better every game and linking up well and we scored 2 goals from crosses which all are signs of improvement.
After Altrincham I really didn't want Barker as manager as we were dire that day but since then we have improved with every game and I now feel he should get until the end of the season to prove himself. It's going to be very difficult to say no to a manager that has won 3 out of 4 games after going 12 games with only 1 win. Not only have our results and performances improved but Barker also has made substitutions in the last 4 games which have had an impact. Also, every player in our squad is giving 100% for Barker and seem to be fully behind him - it is a risk but if only until the end of the season a cheap risk to take.
