Three changes, Gibbons back at RB, Manny injured again is a blow but Pope and Amoo return to the squad... blow for us as Smith is out isolating as a precaution after coming into contact with someone who has Covid.

Assume we are waiting on test results for him.

Evatt who i have backed to do no wrong taking a big gamble......Changed his system again gone 3 centre backs
Santos who has had 3 shockers retains his place. Taft,Hickman,Gordon,Comley and white all dropped.
Now he is the manager and he will live or die on what he does.
Three things i cannot understand with todays selection....1 Santos keeping his place 2....No substitute Goalkeeper
And 3 Yet again not selecting Darcy
We will see at 5 another defeat today and Evatts honeymoon is over

I can't seem to remember him picking a substitute keeper for us either mate. Although the maximum was 5 on the bench.

We've named a strong squad today - First time Ross Embleton has left his house in ten days apparently, we had a training session on the pitch in the morning before the game.

I'd expect Cheltenham to win and we'll likely be blowing from our arses in the final 20mins.

We are absolutely playing for a point today with our defensive line up. Abo Eisa yet again on the bench despite the fact he's by far our best player. Our only two other creative players in John McAtee and Ryan Colclough left out the squad completely. A CM and CB playing full back.

We wont score so 0-0 at best today

The pitch at Prenton Park is superb now. This game would have been off with the old one. Thanks to our ecologically unsound, carnivorous overseas investors.
Sure we had one against you where after it got called off they streamed the streaming torrents instead, or maybe my memory is playing up. Something involving a video of PP and lots of rainwater anyway.

We’re missing the two creative players in Woolery and Feeney, so hopes for a first league 2 win have dipped.

The vast majority of the play has been from Vale so far but Morecambe looked a lot better organised than their previous defensive record this season suggests.

Conceded completely out of nowhere, first time Tranmere have threatened all game. Game over we're not scoring.

Easy afternoon for Carlisle so far, we're clueless. Hardly surprising that we're struggling to create when our backup right back is playing on the left wing.

Poor first half performance, hardly kept the ball, Maris had probably the best chance of the game for Mansfield but we’ve definitely been second best.

Morecambe have pretty much parked the bus so we’ve been in control of the play for the most of it but they’ve had 11 behind the ball so been difficult but do feel a goal would open it up for us. We’ve had 74.4% of the ball!

Rodney has been dangerous and had a couple of chances and Morecambe nearly did a smash and grab in that half with a volley wide from six yards.

Cullen hasn’t had a look in so have to say might be time for the holy one to give us something to hit with the crosses.

I’m shocked how one sided that half was. All United. Would be 3-0 if Kayode had his finishing boots and finishing head on.

Only 1-0 though, fear we’ll look back regretting those chances come 5Pm as I can’t see us being this dominating for a full 90 and still think we’ve got a calamity in us.

And how many fouls have barrow given away? Yet we’re the ones with a booking.

Zouma start or on the bench?
