This ref has been dreadful. Giving Charlton absolutely everything and gave them a soft pen.
Not much quality in the game and that pen will win it.

I doubt we’ll see a more blatant penalty all season, clattered into him.

You should be down to 10 men aswell after your bloke elbowed Pearce in the head.

Not disputing you are the better side but at the point when the penalty was given you didn‘t look like scoring at all.

Crewe deserved to win however the disallowed goal wasn’t a foul on the keeper given it was a Crewe defender who was stood on him and the Crewe goal looked offside, bit galling but on chances I can’t argue with the result.

Mandron’s best goal by far. Ignoring the fact it looked offside, it was a proper strikers goal, and if he can score more like them, then he wouldn’t be playing at this level.

Crewe deserved it. Should have scored 1, maybe 2 more. Doncaster pretty toothless. We tired towards the end, but then looked comfortable once we brought fresh legs on.

Boring game at Portman Road. Started the stronger with Rogers scoring a cracker, then just sat back and did nothing until the equaliser. Gave Ipswich the ball especially Nsiala but they didn't look like scoring through open play and played it in front of ourselves. Edun concended a poor free kick which Ipswich scored which was the only way they were going to score. Then we had a bit of a go with Rogers shot well blocked by Nsiala and Johnson I think pounced on a Nsisla mistake.

It'll be interesting to hear MA's thoughts as that was 3 points which we could have taken as when we attacked through the wings we created problems but as soon as we scored we just sat back. A point on the road but pressure on Saturday to back that up with 3 points.

Delighted with that. I'm guessing Doncaster will feel that they were below par but I'm happy with everyone's performance and we fully deserved the win.

A much needed win this evening. We didn’t half make it difficult for ourselves, mind! Jack Stevens is turning out to be an excellent goalkeeper and a match winner. That’s two penalty saves in two games for him. I couldn’t really tell from the coverage what happened for the penalty to be awarded. Nonetheless a well earned victory.

Swindon were just as poor as the first game. That’s the worst Swindon side I think I’ve ever seen which is strange as it’s not as if there are bad players. What has happened to Jack Payne? He was a creative force only a few seasons ago. I didn’t even notice him playing tonight he was so uninvolved.

Finally... The pitch is the worst I’ve seen all season; historically I’m sure Swindon have had a decent surface? That’s quite the change from seasons gone.

Well, at least we kept it down to just two goals. Outplayed again in all departments. Zero shots on target. Awful to watch, but that's how it's been for four seasons. How we are we still in the play-offs is beyond me?

Jackett must have multiple copies of incriminating photographs. It's the only way any of this makes sense?

Thought you guys looked very well organised. Most of us are seeing that as a very well coached Lincoln side vs a team that literally hasn’t been coached for 2 years. A good point all round I think. One of the better sides I’ve seen us play. Rodgers looked a good player. We have a particularly nice looking run in so we might meet again in May. A summer clear out can’t come soon enough. Nsiala is not the answer

That was indeed hard work. Superb again from Jack Stevens on the penalty. And what an impact from Dan Agyei when he came on, scored and put himself about which was good to see. The Swindon goal wasn't our finest effort at defending!

That pitch is the worse so far, a ploughed field would have been better. Definitely not the norm when we've been there in past seasons.

Not below par but it doesn’t help not having a single striker to call on, we played a DM up top in the first half. Not arguing with the result you created the better chances and probably should have had 3 more, goal was offside though and ours should have stood just luck not on ourside, Bogle with another hamstring injury before the game and Bostock and James both limped off so very worrying

Considering we're missing who I think are our best 3 players in Walsh, Bridcutt and Grant a point at Portman Rd isn't to be sniffed at but if we showed a little more oomph there were 3 on offer.

Can’t disagree with the comments from Oxford fans. Absolutely abysmal performance - again. Worst Swindon side in living memory. There’s nothing about us at all. It’s all down to the Sheridactyl. I’m not saying we’d be world beaters with another manager but he shows nothing but contempt for the club, fans and players - and football in general. OK, hoofball is acceptable - just - if you have the players for it. Substitute humiliation at the end, too. Dragging off both CBs, 1 our captain, with a few minutes to go. I’d imagine the dressing room is toxic. We’re done diddly done for.

As for the pitch, I’d guess it’s been prepared to be shit - dragging other teams down to our level I suppose. 23 defeats in 34 games says it all.

We were pretty poor again last night.
Lots of huff and puff. Plenty of long high balls in the box and one great save the Cod’s keeper.
As poor as we were though I don’t feel we deserved to lose as Fleetwood were no better than we were.
I will be so glad to see the back of this season.
The standard has been the worst I can remember in this division (and I have seen every team at least once and a few twice).
Just want to get back to normal football with crowds and a bit of atmosphere.
I will also be glad to see the back of the rotund one.
Results have not been awful but the standard of football most certainly has.

Evans is (unfortunately) contracted to next season as well.

Fortress Gresty Rd holds up again. Good win and good performance last night, should have probably won by more. Doncaster obviously lacking strikers were toothless. What’s happened to Simms Donny fans? He looked your best player earlier in the season, now he can’t get on your team and when he came on he didn’t look interested.
As for us, I’m glad we went back to 4-3-3 it suits us much better and had our best players playing in there best positions. Adebisi has really shocked me also, I wasn’t sure he was good enough, but he’s been one of our better players in the last 3 games.

A very good win against a resolute Gills side. Some superb defending particularly in the second half as the visitors launched crosses, high balls and anything else they could find to find an equaliser.
Our young defenders were excellent, aided by a hugely confident goalie and a forward line well led by Vassell
3 wins on the bounce, it must be Spring !

I know mate but we all Evans track record.
If a better offer (or what he perceives to be a better offer)comes along he will be off.

ID - re our pitch I thought there was a problem with drainage which we haven't been able to resolve due to lack of funds?

As to last night, we were head and shoulder the second best in all departments last night. Oxford managed to play some decent stuff on the diabolical surface whereas we just kept lumping it long and hoping for the best. There is a LOT of change needed to happen at this club or we are going to be on a downward spiral for some time. owner, chairman and manager needs a complete overhaul. The Wellens and Sheridan approach to playing football couldn't be any different, the players surely want to try and play some football, not just 90 minutes of hot potato stuff.

Final word to our management team who were asked by reporters why both centre backs were subbed on 86 minutes and the reply was that it was to counteract Taylor who kept getting in behind the defence. The same Taylor that was removed from play 5 minutes before! Of course now the club has banned the local newspaper from asking any questions at press conferences. Beyond pathetic and amateurish.

I think we would all like the answer to the Sims conundrum not sure if Darren the ego jumping ship has anything to do with it

Bozzy is a legend - a lot of Lincoln fans were very unhappy at him being allowed to leave, though this season has rather mollified that. He's not really a ball player, which is what Appleton wants, and he's becoming injury prone (he's played 550 games), but he puts his body on the line every single game.

Although a monster on the pitch, apparently he's quite shy and retiring off it. Never does any interviews or anything like that, and plays for East Mids clubs so he can live at home.

We only have the clubs word for it re the drainage ‘problems’ with the pitch. I just wish one of the players who may be retiring at the end of the season would just deck Sheridactyl and put him on his arse.

Caddis, maybe, with a Glasgow Kiss!
