He might turn into a pumpkin yet, and he's been a dink and dunk artist for the most part, but.... thru pre-season and 1.75 real games I can count the number of dumb decisions Dak Prescott has made on the fingers of one butcher's hand. Hard not to be impressed.
He's still available for trade in Fantasy... anyone?

Obviously Brady will come back in once the suspension is up. However while there's all the talk of a draft pick via trade, if Garropalo continues to shine do they instead try to keep him if they think he's Brady's heir?

Surely if it all goes really well, he'd prefer to stay there and be comfortably groomed as the long term replacement rather than one of the poor QB needy teams, even if it meant holding the clipboard for an extra 1 or two years?

I can see them keeping hold of him this season for sure. The value of a quality back-up is being shown right now by the Pats (And also Dallas for that matter). Beyond that it really depends. Firstly he won't get to be the starter for at least two and probably more years with Brady still one of the top two in the NFL. The other thing is really the development of Jacoby Brissett who we spent a third rounder in the most recent draft. He showed some composure too when he came in.

Jimmy G's contract is up after next year I think so could see us trading him next off-season. He's got film in proper games now and also against high calibre .

Safe to say Jameis has come crashing back to earth with a bump this week...

Indy always seem to give the donkeys a tough game, can see them edging this one.

It's the hope that kills you, over and over I hope the Lions will be a different team, for over 20 years I've watched this play out, just groundhog day, doesn't seem to matter if they have the best RB the game has ever seen, one of the best WR the game has ever seen or even half decent QBs and defences.
It seems to be that only one side of the ball can have a decent game. So with the D playing great, through injury after injury as well, the O decide to not turn up, well Stafford and the WR anyway, the running game was again good, sadly Abdullah left the game injured as well and with that it appeared there was no confidence so lets just get Stafford to chuck it everywhere.
The biggest problem though, flags, in total 17 for 140 yards - the worst of it coming from the O who had 3 TDs scrubbed off for stupid flags and then a ridiculous sequence that saw them with 1st and goal from the 1 to pushed back to the 37 yard line.
So with that, fuck off Lions, although I fully expect them to now beat the Packers next week, cos that's just how they roll.
Side note - after the 3rd quarter of this game down to just 2, yes 2, fit linebackers

Titans were far better than the Colts though, my prediction that the Colts will finish bottom of their division might come true.

Commentator on Winston just now. "Well like all young men he's made mistakes".

No, no they haven't.

Who amongst us can honestly say that we have not been investigated as part of a sexual assault case that resulted in our alma mater paying a million dollar settlement. And nicked some crab legs. Hope the view is nice up there on your high horse.

Positives are that we're stuffing the run exceptionally well, Martinez, Ryan and Clark are looking stout. Cook finally got involved.

Diggs totally burned us though, and given he moves around a lot I don't think it can be blamed on no Shields either. Passing game still isn't up to what it should be either, and Rodgers protection from the guard/centre area albeit against a very good defence wasn't great either.

Bradford showed why he's better than the FA options out there, and played well despite getting nothing from Peterson.

Extremely fortunate to win my fantasy matchup. 3 bench players outscored the guys they missed out for.

I lost mine by 5 points, after going against my instinct to drop Cobb for Lockett, and have Aguayo as my kicker. Deserved loss!

I won mine with 60 summat points and 3 dudes not even playing until MNF. Not sure TomPNE94 is taking it seriously.

Definitely in for this next year. Wasn't around for draft day and playing with a computer selected draft just isn't as much fun

swear to god, if I get one more dumb trade proposal from you lot...

someone just offered me Abdullah and Dak for Melvin Gordon and I can't even bring myself to acknowledge it by clicking reject.

If you have Sky Sports I'd watch Red Zone.

I'm far to old and miserable to be dealing with that multiscreen s*** mate, the actual live games that they show are always interjected with all the meaning full highlights from the other games anyways so I'm happy enough with that.

On the trading front I think that everybody should be allowed to send at least one (maybe two) s*** trades per season, I've already tried to whiff someone by sending them Torrey Smith myself.

Bear in mind the timing.

Abdullah had come off a strong week, and Bortles was having a stinker on Sunday before his garbage time kicked in. Obviously things changed.

I turned down a trade for Abdullah for Woodhead.

How I'm regretting that now. :bang:

Can resolve your mind in that bar a few certain players, you can't account for injuries :). I've probably offered him to everyone for anyone by now haha.

My biggest worry is leaving a trade open, and then seeing a player I want get injured, and then not cancelling the offer in time...

Well, got a bite on Prescott eventually. Everyone else can look forward to getting far fewer trade requests from now on :)

Doesn't look like the Pats are bringing in a back-up QB for the Texans game so all being well should at least have Jimmy G on the bench, some suggestions he could even start but I very much doubt it after seeing the agony he was in when he left the field. Would be in the position if he can't do that then Julien Edelman would have to be the back-up in a position he won't have played since he was at Kent State which should be interesting if that materialised.

Good news is whatever happens we are virtually playing house money until Brady's return now having won the opening two. Also suggestions we may get a Gronk sighting on Thursday too which will be nice.

2nd year in a row I've lost my 1st round pick to an injury in fantasy.

Advantage of picking last is that your 2nd round pick comes straight after though, right?
