I swapped out Stafford for Palmer under an hour before the games started, I shouldn't be allowed near my fantasy team.

With absolutely no running game in Detroit anymore you'd be a fool to remove Stafford from a fantasy team, if he keeps the INTs down he'll be #1 fantasy QB this season.

Left Stafford on the bench in my work fantasy (which is a money game) in favour of my first choice Cam (who got fucked by the Vikes D). If I had put Stafford in I would be home and dry in my match-up with 3 players still playing and Devonta Freeman still to come. As it stands I have a 30% chance now. Gutted.

Great first half by the Chiefs though. Pummeling the Jets, so silver linings and all that I suppose.

So Abdullah out what do the Lions do running wise, basically they don't bother, reverted to just airing it out and unbelievably stayed in the game, the Packers D is not so good. Sadly the Lions D, even as banged up as it is, not so good either. Marvin Jones, massive day, over 200 yards, couple of TDs, who needs megatron. Expected a loss but a little peeved that if the D had been just a tad more on their game the Packers were there for the taking, right now Green Bay looks a long, long way from being a challenger for the big prize.

Wasnt surprised the game turned out like that.

I'll hope the defence performance this week was a one off, since before this week it was performing very well. The returns of four to five starters should help seal that gap, and the week 4 bye already looks perfectly timed to cope with that.

We actually looked rather decent on offense though, Lacy getting a 100 yard game too. Reasons to be cheerful, let's hope it continues...

I'd say the Steelers D is definitely questionable. In fairness yesterday though I think maybe a lot of people myself included underestimated how good that Philly team can be. Great credit to Wentz as I thought he'd struggle a little initially.

Its a real shame to see the Bears in this state. Great franchise with a great tradition. I think they need to go back to their roots a bit and focus on boosting that defence. Last few years going back to when they collapsed mid-season under Lovie Smith they've largely been horrible. Hopefully it will turn around. They've got a good coach in John Fox, rather less convinced in their GM Ryan Pace.

I'm pretty much out of the fantasy league already. I'm 17th with an 0-3 record despite having the third most points in the league. My opponents have scored a combined 345 points, that's almost 40 more than against anyone else.

I like what the Chiefs are doing with Jamaal Charles this season, but he's been a victim of this in the past too. In football, look at Vincent Kompany's career, it's such a waste.

I agree, and that's true about Charles, but whether they'd do the same if they didn't have Spencer Ware filling in is an open question.

Yup. Am sure I read/heard somewhere that Kompany's injury record at Man City is something like 30+ different injuries. He's had back trouble too.

Complete agree with you about the rushing back of players though, just look at Clavin Johnson, said after retirement that he has played the last 4 seasons with multiple injuries that were impacting him not just in games but in his daily life. Don't think you'll ever get a rule in place though, teams try and get the most out of the players for the very short careers they have. Maybe they'll do something regards practices being so full on.

Nah, I can't really comment, but looking at Watt's career trajectory it would be genuinely surprising if he didn't end up as the GOAT. He has three DPOTY awards in his first five seasons. Best player in the league by a mile.

By the end of his career possibly but right now there is absolutely no way I would put him ahead of Reggie White for one and LT for another as Kim stated above.

That stat that said he had as many yards as the Fins have made in total says it all (also a fair bit about the Fins as well given a huge amount of them came on the TD throw). If I was Cincy just keep feeding him the ball and cut these draw plays out as they are not fooling anyone.
