How are Miami 4 and 2? Especially after that Wembley horror show.

Watching Ravens destroy Lolphins was very satisfying. Alonso one dirty c***! Hopefully Flacco is back soon.

Chargers safety was some of the dumbest shit I've seen in a while.

The Pats should be miles ahead in this game but credit to the Chargers Defence limiting us to FG’s they are still in this somehow.

Wow, the Pats trade to the 49ers for Jimmy Garoppolo for a 2nd round pick. Very surprised at that. I know Brady looks in good shape to keep playing for a while, but anything could change in the next year or 2. And who backs him up for the rest of the season?

Wonder what Garoppolo thinks about this as well. I bet he was hoping to replace Brady, but good look following that. At least he can make his own name for himself in San Francisco. Too bad their team is a dumpster fire and will be for the next few years.

Surprised is one word. The trade value am not too bothered about as where the Niners will be picking is virtually a late first round pick in reality but after trading Brissett earlier this season this doesn't make a huge amount of sense but then it's not the first time BB has done something that on the face of it seems bizarre and turns out he was right.

The Niners have released Hoyer so would expect him to come back to New England, knows the system at least so will make a good stopgap.

Makes a lot of sense both sides.

Pats get a likely high 2nd in 2018 for a guy who at best they'd get low 3rd round comp value in 2019 if theyd waited til the end of the season.

9ers get an expensive half season rental to see how good he is before paying open market value. If he's worth paying come season end, they'll be happy. If he's not worth paying, they can release and maybe get an 3rd or 4th in 2019 comp pick value back.

Always thought it was nonsense that a team would pay a 1st, never believed that, nor the idea BB would franchise a backup QB. Also have massive doubts about how good he really is, would not at all be surprised to see a meh season - his sample size is tiny.

Some strange moves flying about today. Benjamin goes from the Panthers and Ajayi goes from the Dolphins. Both teams are well in with a shot at a wild card spot, yet give up possibly some of their best offensive weapons for mid round picks. Bizarre, unless there is more to it beneath the surface.

Ajayi seemed cheap, but the word was he's been a bad egg behind the scenes and given his knee issues they probably weren't going to renew his deal in 18 months. Comp pick value given the low salaries for RBs prob wouldn't have been more than a 4th, so they took a 4th now.

McCarron for a 2nd and 3rd just smacks of a panicking HC/FO, no way on earth is he worth that. In his scant appearances has he shown anything other than being servicable at best?

Benjamin seemed the weirdest one. Carolina are putting together a push for the playoffs, but clearly don't rate him, so got a 3rd and change now rather than a probable 3rd in the 2019 draft. They dont rate him... but former Panthers coach McDermott in theory does. I thought the Bills would be bad this season, but as thats not the case they'll fill a void and aim for playoffs.

Awful news. Texans were such fun to watch...

Luck going to IR too. Luck, Rodgers, Watson, Watt, Johnson, Robinson, Beckham...

Its bordering on criminal what the Colts have done with Lucks career. Took one of the most surefire picks imaginable and ruined him by never giving him an O-Line. That alone will have knocked a good 5 years off his career I reckon.

Have to admit whilst the team is pretty mediocre am digging the Jets colour rush uniform. Definitely one of the better ones.

And they even fucking sleep-walked into that via fluke circumstances.

Jim Irsay, net worth $2.3 billion and rising. Nice work if you can get it.

Been in Hanoi the last few weeks and probably cost myself the playoffs in the fantasy league. Forgot to set my line up twice and lost last week because I had no kicker. Left Benjamin in my line up on Thursday night. Woops. :smug:

I don't understand the Benjamin trade at all, he was the Panthers best receiver and had actually been playing pretty well this season. The average numbers are more a product of Newton's poor play and a shit offensive line. They say they wanted more speed, I don't really see the issue with keeping Benjamin as their #1 and working in a speedster opposite him. Strange logic.

The Watson injury is tragic. It's just All Pro after All Pro going down this season, the quality has been up and down for the NFL this year, they can't afford to lose any more stars. Praying he doesn't go the way of RG3, I don't think he will as he's a much smarter player.

Hanoi > Fantasy playoffs though eh

You could easily still win this week btw. Because you're playing me.

I dunno, I'm not convinced Benjamin is actually that good, big bloke who can run but not great hands nor standout separation. They get a 3rd and change now rather than what they'd likely get in return when he hits FA.

On paper it does weaken them, but wouldn't surprise me at all to see a change in their offense and them not miss a beat without him.

can't believe it took this many years of playing with Dalton for AJ to have a meltdown.

I know the ultimate answer is because they're the Browns but how on earth do you call a QB sneak from being generous a long 2 yards to the end zone with about 10 seconds on the clock with no timeouts. Just ridiculous.

On the 2 yard line, end up with 0 points and start the second half with a 15 yard penalty.

Sometimes I just think the Browns are a parody.

Watching some football in a bar in New Orleans, and the Jets fan next to me is an interception away from throwing his drink at the screen.
