That was annoyingly a smart pick from the Browns, maybe Baker won't be killed by that offensive line now?

The Jets will take a wideout now and that will start the run on them.

The J-E-T-S take Becton, that fella is huge.

Raiders surely going receiver now.

Worth keeping an eye on the Niners at 13, they seem an obvious trade if a team wants to move up for Lamb et al.

Another Tackle off the Board Becton I don't think he has the polish of Wills or Thomas so it will be interesting to see how he turns out.
Oh wow Ruggs first receiver off the board did not expect that but then it is the raider pick.

Ruggs off the board to Vegas. Personally I rate Jeudy the best of them but even so its a good pick.

If Wirfs keeps falling I would not be averse to the option of the Pats making a move. With negotiations with Thuney going nowhere could open a trade for him and move Wynn inside.

How pissed off must Aaron Rodgers be right now. Was looking for help at receiver and instead Green Bay go and draft Jordan Love to be his successor

As for us feels like things back to normal. Wait up to the early hours to find we've traded out of the round.

You can't but see the shadow of history in that pick cast your mind back to the 05 draft when Green Bay had Favre good thing for Love he won't have that immediate pressure of his fellow 1st round QB's he can sit and learn while Burrow, Tua and Herbert will have much bigger pressure

It's about as expected given Belichick's draft history.

On day 2 the Bills will finally join the fun personally I hope we look at a Running Back or Edge but that will depends who falls into our range I would love either A J Dillon or Jonathan Taylor Running back wise.

Also I want to see where Ben Bartch lands I think he has potential for being the highest drafted div3 player ever.

Looking like an early run on receivers again at the start of the second. Should have some top quality defensive players by the time we pick in a bit whether thats Mckinney, Winfield or Epenesa.

One thing to consider is whether we decide to go TE at this point with Kmet.

With an early second rounder taking a D2 Safety is the most Bill Belichick thing ever. He may turn out to be really good (I genuinely know nothing of him) but he just can't help himself with these sort of picks.

Yeah but I think Pats need to add some young blood in the Backfield and I kind of like seeing the small school kids get drafted as it is more of a long shot.

Did like our new addition to the front office though it must be said....

I do agree it’s nice to see them being given a shot. It’s going to be a huge step up though in levels. Hope he does well, it’d make a good story. Seeing the video we posted on our social media it looks like we’d have drafted Jefferson if he hadn’t gone in the spot before us yesterday.

Such a Belichick move to put his dog in the seat when the Pats make there choice

Also Browns got a great pick in Delpit if he can return to his 2018 form.

Jalen Hurts to the Eagles. Have to admit of the teams he could have gone to I didn't think of them. Will be very interested to see if his skill set can transfer to the NFL.

Steelers went receiver earlier on with Claypool. Their talent evaluation and coaching at that position is on another level to anywhere else in the league so that tells me he has every chance to be really good.

Well we added A J Epenesa which has definately beefed up the Pass rush on the edge to be honest I did not think he would be avaible at the bottom of the 2nd so really good value.

Aye really like that pick for Buffalo (not so much for us or the rest of the division). Pre-draft there were lots of mocks having us taking him in the first so that's a steal I'd say. Makes an already great front seven even better.

Jake Fromm keeps on sliding especially considering he was seen as one of the top picks heading into the 2019 season for this draft it's really impressive to see how far he can slide.

Think it’s a symptom of just a lack of QB needy teams. I wouldn’t be averse to use using a fifth or one of our multiple 6ths on him at that point. Main priority right now for me would be to get James Proche.

The fact we haven’t gone QB yet tells me Stidham is going to be the guy for us.

Hate to say it but the Jets are having themselves a decent draft.

7 QB's have gone off the board I think the lack of an athlete is killing his stock
Also Yeah Jets are having a good draft question marks on Becton over Wirfs but they are doing right by Sam in getting him some good protection which really they should of done in 2019

One thing I really didn’t like when Eason was taken by the Colts they alluded to character issues with him without elaborating at all. Think that is way out of line as first I’d seen any report of that with him.

Well we got Fromm don't really get it given how different he is from Allen as a QB but he was bpa so that is probably the factor behind it.

That's our draft over with. Going in to what has been considered one of the deepest ever for WR and that being a position of need for us and we haven't taken a single one. Got to give it to Belichick he does things his own way. No QB taken so its now almost a certainty Stidham will be our week 1 starter if it wasn't before.

On the plus side double dipping for TE's and improving the athleticism of our defense are big boosts. Also drafted a kicker so that will be Gostkowskis replacement. Barely been a Patriot for five minutes though before some questionable tattoos of his have come to light however.

Overall I think the Jets, Broncos and Ravens have done very well in this draft. Green Bays has been puzzling, it would almost seem they were goading Rodgers into demanding a trade.

Must say well done to the NFL also, this draft and the broadcast of it has been executed brilliantly.

Yeah that Kicker's tatoos are a big yikes especially as they have links to white supremacy it makes previous drafts like Nick Bosa's trump support seem tame.

I would say the Browns had a really good draft as well some really excellent value picks.
As for for the Bills I am pretty happy with our draft we filled a lot of slots we needed to adding another Running back especially one who can break tackles, more height in our receiver corps though I did think we would of added either a Guard or tackle at some point.

NFL schedules to be released in just over 10 minutes. Supposedly Jacksonville's schedule has been leaked in full which has the Steelers travelling in Week 11.

If it was to ever happen, the Steelers playing the Cowboys on Thanksgiving would be absolutely huge for TV ratings, nothing within the regular season would get anywhere close. In fairness, both teams are such a huge draw that it will be the most viewed regular season game of the season, irrespective of week or timeslot.

Instead I've seen that the late slot on Thanksgiving has the Steelers hosting the Ravens which would be lively within its own right.

Having seen our schedule at first glance it looks extremely difficult. I think am right in saying er have the highest degree of difficulty in terms of strength of schedule (based on last season which is not always an accurate indicator granted).

Kick off at home to Miami so a chance to get even after how the last regular season ended. Visit KC in week 4. The two games with the Bills should be great encounters (first in week 8 on the road and then again at Foxborough on the penultimate weekend). Also seem to have landed ourselves consecutive road games in LA in December. At least the bye week in week 6 isn't massively early.

Notice even without Brady anymore we've still got 5 primetime games.

You must be made up with the Cam signing kieran_vale ? Can't say I am!

Can’t complain about it at all Stagat. Veteran minimum for a former league MVP with a point to prove sounds like a Belichick type move.

Only issue will be how long it takes to get up to speed as doubt there will be any OTA’s and likely a curtailed pre season / training camp.

Should be fascinating to see how our offense operates now as for really the first time we’ll have some mobility at the QB position so should give McDaniels some playcalls he’ll have not been able to use before.

Little risk for the Pats with a potential big reward but still think there is a lot of big questions on the Pats Offense the biggest two would be what shape is Cam in last few years on the Panthers he has been beat up and the other is how will the Pats O-Line do post Scar.

Definitely agree about what shape Cam is in. The way the Panthers used him probably aged him a few years. Really not smart to be calling power runs with the QB trying to run over the MLB and SS. I wouldn’t rule out Stidham getting the starting role initially either as by all accounts the Pats like what they’ve seen from him.

The O-Line I’m less concerned with as the new coaches there are being promoted through the system and spent time learning under Scar. That and getting our starting centre David Andrews back I think this will be one of the betterunits in the league health permitting.
