Reckon you'd give Stidham the second half now then? Think you might based on what you said earlier?

I would if it was me. If not now then it’s hard to know when you would. This is Belichick though who has somewhat of a stubborn streak and is just as likely to not do it as that’s what people would expect him to do. This Pats offense needs a QB with precision and a quick release, neither of which Cam has.

Been a fun battle between Diggs and JCJ. The latter had the better of it until Diggs broke that 50 yarder off.

I think the Bills score another TD on this upcoming drive that is pretty much the ballgame.

Looks so painful seeing Cam throw the ball. His mechanics are all over the place. As a teammate he has been exemplary but the body of work has not been great.

Btw on that TD you feared, that Diggs ended up scoring. Am so happy with how Diggs has done for us this season. I reckon D-Hop is a better WR overall but I reckon Diggs has done better for us as a team than he has for Arizona, just to compare them two big WR trades from the off-season.

He's done even better when Brown has played opposite him and Brown has missed at least half our games. Hope he stays happy and doesn't start diva-ing out.

I think whoever told BB to challenge that catch is getting fired tomorrow judging by his reaction there

This is a really impressive performance by the Bills though, we look hopelessly outmatched.

This is done now I don't think we should be risking the starters but what a play from Allen to Diggs just imagine if Brown wasn't in Covid protocols.

Got to say I think last night is an accurate reflection where both teams are at right now. In a way I’m glad it’s happened as highlights now the task ahead once this Jets game is out the way on Sunday. Well done to Buffalo though, as said before that was very impressive.

In theory if we lose Sunday which is feasible give the Jets competitive performances of late we could end up with a top 10 pick which would give us scope get that QB of the future or reload at the skills positions.

That would be a genius move from BB again if the Pats end up with a top 10 pick, nobody can accuse the team of not trying or tanking this season but a few late season losses to move up draft position and potentially pick that franchise QB, brilliant! Is it too early to take Zach Wilson?

Can't see a top 10 draft pick for the Pats now think 12th- 13th is much more likely if they get rolled over by the Jets but it would definitely put in a position to trade upto grab a QB you only have to look at us in 18 we made our 21st pick into 7th

I suspect you're probably right there. The absolute best case is the 9th pick I believe. Would still be options available including trading Gilmore who could get significant capital only a year removed from being DPOY. Say we wanted Zach Wilson my guess is you'd need to be 6th or 7th at least and thats assuming Fields is still the second choice QB. Did see one mock that had us taking Pitts and then Mac Jones in the second.

Regardless I hope we are looking seriously at our talent evaluation moreso in the draft than free agency where we usually do ok. Wish we had someone like a Kevin Colbert who excels in that so long as don't ask him to manage the cap which he's had some mixed results with in Pittsburgh.

That talk about only watching the first half or staying up for the whole game... Should have split the difference and gone to bed when they brought Barkley in during the 3rd (iirc) coz nowt happened after that.

More am seeing of this Alabama game right now although the box score etc reads very impressive I can't help thinking that Mac Jones being in the running for the Heisman is more a product of the talent around him. I think he could be decent but it's very hard to evaluate him. Similar to Tua I'd say.

These Bama receivers are scary and this is without Waddle also.

Excited to see how Clemson do against Ohio.

Looks like the Jets are reported to be moving on from Adam Gase after tomorrow. One or two suggestions that BB may be adding him to the Pats coaching staff as our QB coach just departed to take over as HC at Arizona. He'll be sadly missed by the rest of the AFCE though. Interesting times for the Jets. After last night Fields might just have jumped back up to the #2 QB if there was any debate re him and Wilson. I'd still stick with Darnold and build round him personally but a difficult decision to make there.

Meanwhile this one could be interesting. Not sure how he'd translate to the NFL having spent his entire career coaching in college but with a generational talent like Trevor Lawrence a lot of doors will open for the Jags now.

Not a shock at all the only surprise is that they didn't fire him mid season It will be interesting to see how many Coach's go on Black Monday also really hope we keep Daboll but it seems unlikely given the excellent job he has done especially with Allen and there will be several teams with rookie QB's

Aye well in addition to the two mentioned above and those with vacancies already you've got to look at the LA Chargers for one. They are an appallingly coached team but with the pure talent they already have and a likely rookie of the year QB in Herbert that should be a very high demand position.

Nagy apparently done enough in Chicago. One to potentially look at (and not just because I'm bitter his team were the difference in my fantasy Super Bowl matchup) is with the Vikings. I'd be looking at that and saying has Zimmer done all he can there and given the talent they possess it's not good enough from them this year. Only other one is Dallas but Jerrys biggest criteria is not so much results but who will allow him to be the star of the show and so long as McCarthy acquiesces on that think he will ultimately be safe.

Not seen much about Zac Taylor honestly he has a terrible record he might get a third year but would definately be on the hot seat

Aye tend to forget about him and the Bengals but you're right its a horrible record. I think with them though you know that Mike Brown is cheap so will just keep him to his contract than pay him up. Will probably tinker round the edges with co-ordinators etc though.

Just seen the inactives for todays Pats-Jets game looks like a fourth pre-season game with both of these rosters. Goes against the grain to ever want us to lose to these of all teams but today its really for the best. Feels strange getting into that mindset I must admit.

Given the Steelers have named a load of backups I really would have thought the Sky game would be the Bills and Fins. How the Bills play this will be very interesting. Think a lot comes down to who they fancy in the post season.

Yeah we are resting several of our starters I don't think Allen and Diggs will do much either at most the 1st half still confident we could pull a win with the Fins having no Fitz.

Last Redzone of the season lads. Not the most enthralling Bills game for me personally, especially if they rest a lot of starters later on, although still interesting enough. And the whole league schedule is actually gonna be dead interesting to watch unfold. Wish it all wrapped up with no super late game though. Anyway, hope your team goes well everyone. :)

Jets gave up a 49 yard run to Cam on the opening drive and as if that wasn't bad enough they let us throw for a TD. Can see how much intent they have to play, we're going to have to go some to outsuck them today.

Our Punter is nasty that was a really impressive punt to nail the Phins in the 1 yard line.

If Darnold is going to progress he needs to be better under pressure. When he has time he can make any throw but when a team can rush him he falls apart.

Credit to the Bills they’re playing this hard. Miami want to be careful, with Fitz out if they’re down more than a couple of scores I just don’t think at this point Tua has it in him to mount a comeback.

That is some insanely good offensive line play from the Bills on that TD throw to McKenzie, must have had about ten seconds to throw that.

McKenzie having himself a right day so far! Loved that return.

Yep play of the year contender right there.

Darnold levels it up with a nice strike to his TE for the J-E-T-S.

I know ultimately the decision would have been taken out their hands anyway but it baffles me that Flores would have gone with Tua over Fitz for this game. The Miami offense just can’t get anything going without trick plays. Looks like the Pats offense and that is not something g to emulate.

Fitz is out tested positive for Covid.
On Tua I just don't see the franchise QB in him at the moment a good game manager but I can't see him putting the game on his back either.

Now that was a dime from Josh Allen, just a flick of the wrist and was probably 50 yards in the air. Wow.
