Definitely up there It has been a while since there has been a QB such a disaster on and off the field I expect him unclaimed off the waiver wire but can see someone taking a shot with him after that

I can see some teams kicking the tyres on him and maybe earmarking him for a practise squad spot. The issue he has is once you get that label for off field distractions if you don’t really ball out on the field nobody will touch him and it’s hard to shed that label once you have it.

Suppose one option could be the Bengals as I think it’s far from a lock that Burrow is ready for the start of next season and playing at Ohio he has a lot of goodwill there at least.

Can I be arsed to stay up for the Bills Pats game kieran_vale pride_of_notts ? I work nights and am only just now getting my body clock right for the rest of my week off. Slept all day Boxing Day and yesterday. Staying up would fuck it up again for a day or maybe two and I'd like to avoid that. Was definitely going to watch it when I was planning my Xmas holiday last week but kinda want to not stay up 'til 5am when I don't have to for once. Also it's kind of a dead rubber but then it _is_ the Bills going into Foxboro as favourites... for once. Also I've had a couple of beers already and kick off is only three hours away. And I'll only be waking up in the night to check the score anyway. FFS, what to do.

Can always watch the first half and see how it goes. As a fellow shift worker I know what you mean about screwing up the body clock though.

I expect this should be pretty routine for the Bills tonight. We will seemingly try our best to win but just not got it in us at the moment. Dolphins fans will probably watch with interest as a Bills win I think seals the #2 seed which is important and means the Bills can put in some backups next week.

No Edelman tonight and now done for the season. Suspect he might retire after the season and if so what a career he has had. Converted from a 7th round pick as initially a QB and in my opinion at least converted to a HOF worthy career as a slot receiver. Really would feel the end of an era then.

True about trying just first half, yeah. That normally means second half too though. I looked up from my phone last weekend when I was definitely going to bed after the second Redzone stint to see Browns Giants were already into the 4th quarter!

TBH I've not heard Edelman's name mentioned much this season, if at all. Very good career as you say. Looking in as a certified hater, him and Gronk seemed undefendable in their own way for a long time. Inevitable chain-moving catch after inevitable chain-moving catch. End of an era too, I agree.

To be honest I’ve tried it before with going to bed but last time I tried it forgot put my phone on silent and was woken up by a TD notification when we played the Ravens so just thought sod it and got up watched the rest of the game.

Can see why an opposition fan would hate Edelman he’s got a definite case of small man syndrome but he does what he does brilliantly. Always saved his best for the Super Bowl not least that catch against the Falcons.

Will be an interesting learning exercise for BB tonight. I guess JCJ will have Diggs so if we were to trade Gilmore this off season if he can handle a legit #1 receiver will be of note. The Bills also it seems have trouble defending TE’s so tonight I want to see if Asiasi can show something.

Yeah I would judge it on the 1st half but I tend to get to hyped and can't sleep anyway so just stay and watch the entire game it's kind of weird having the Bills on so many Prime time games as it's usually the early window games

On the game tonight we should beat the Pats really want to see more from the Run game which has never really got going but it will be interesting to see if we pull the starters sometime in the second half could even have Davis Webb coming in.

On Edelman he has had a great career and a Super bowl MVP really topped it off don't think he is hof down to the lack of respect for slot receivers.

If the Bills are looking for a team to get the run game going we are the team to play. The Fins have not had a great year running the ball until they came up against us. This weakness of ours first became apparent against the Niners with that outside zone running scheme Shanahan loves so much. That’s where some of the opt-outs at the start of the season hurt us the most.

Some big names inactive for us tonight like Lawrence Guy and Damien Harris. If we are down more than a couple of scores at half time that is the point we have to give Stidham some proper live reps.

Get the feeling Belichick has already made his decision in regards with Stidham I think if he was undecided with him he would of already rolled with Stidham.

i should be rooting for the Bills then? Mind you, we could still go through even with a loss next week.

Did they say it was 21 degrees?

41F so about 5C which is actually almost tropical compared to what it would normally be in Foxboro at this point of the season.

For rooting interest as it turns out as the Steelers won the Bills can’t seal the #2 seed today. It’s quite possible as that’s still a live game for the Steelers then they may well do you a favour against the Browns anyway.

Don’t know if this is actually a recorded stat but Cam has had a ridiculous amount of passes tipped at the line. For someone his size that’s ridiculous. And follows it up getting sacked when should have just thrown it away. Seems to not recognise when the blitz is dialled up and struggles to throw it away.

I mean how can you not root for that kinda fake punt

I found it quite easy not to ;)

Just as we had a nice defensive series with JCJ making a play on Diggs.

I don't think I'd figured out what was going on until he'd caught it and been tackled already

Daboll loves his trick plays the two drops have been annoying especially Knox he tends to be inconsistant catching the ball

Adam Butler needs to give his head a wobble. The first offside fair enough but the second one cost an interception on that Bills drive.

White there audibly shouting bullshit after that DPI call.

Cam should have been sacked about 3 times on that TD play. Love the Pats running game on that drive. Sony breaking some big ones like his rookie season and JJ Taylor contributing. If we could pass the ball this Offense would be tough to play against.

That looked like holding on Addison where he literally got dragged off Cam but honestly we are getting gashed on the run.

I think the Bills score another TD on this upcoming drive that is pretty much the ballgame.

Looks so painful seeing Cam throw the ball. His mechanics are all over the place. As a teammate he has been exemplary but the body of work has not been great.

Reckon you'd give Stidham the second half now then? Think you might based on what you said earlier?

Diggs burnt Jackson on that td but it was an excellent read by Allen seeing as the primary read got doubled.
