Didn't see much of any games coz was watching Redzone but feels nice to score 45 points after a few bad weeks recently. Easy to say the Jets were a good team to be playing right now but could have said that about the Jags last week too and look happened there.

Not a fan of how well the Patriots and Mac are doing right now though kieran_vale ! You were meant to be crap for a good four or five years at least, not just last year! TBF to Mac though he's looking the best of the rookie QBs so far ain't he, which is something nobody would have predicted surely.

Got to admit Stagat it's been perhaps even better than could have hoped for. Seems most of the FA acquisitions during the spring have contributed which has been a big help especially Judon and Henry. I think having the latter has been huge for Mac, gives him a top end option in the red zone. I think in Mac's case his ability to read a defense pre-snap is way above anything you usually see from a rookie. Reminds me a lot of Phil Rivers especially with his competitive streak.

Still think the Bills win the division but who knows if we can maybe split the two games with you coming in a few weeks it could go deeper than would have maybe first thought.

If I was Diontae Johnson I'd be staying out of Mike Tomlins way after fumbling that ball. Yeah he'd made good yardage but protect the ball. Just as well Goff is a train-wreck and the Lions kicker did the worst ever FG I think I've seen.

Not wanting to get too far ahead of myself but if these scores all stay the same our game with the Titans at Foxboro next weekend we could be in the #1 seed with a win. Still think the Titans will come back against the Texans though.

Jonathan Taylor is some player for the Colts. No surprise the Bills are looking helpless against him.

Yeah we are playing ass far to many penalties both on Offense and Defense never mind the turnovers I think it's been clear all season not having a serviceable run game is a major issue and that will not likely be fixed until free agency / Draft.

I think today has killed off my Ryan Tannehill for league MVP hot take was readying up. What a crazy season this has been. Wild to think a couple of their losses have been to the Jets and Texans. The AFC is just ridiculous.

Today makes the Pats @ Bills game on MNF in a couple of weeks must see TV now.

Outstandingly bad football game that was, some awful mismanagement from Detroit, but despite the fact it felt like Chicago should have won by 20 they managed to barely win in by 2....

Better game this, but still not as good as it might have been 6 weeks ago.

I’m still left wondering why the hell the Lions on 3rd and 4 at the end you play 10 yards OFF the receivers. Seen some dumb teams do dumb things down the years but that is right up there.

Big score for Dallas at the end of the half. Been impressed with the Raiders other than that though.

Seriously this Shawn Hochuli crew is the NFL equivalent of being reffed by Trevor Kettle. Talk about making it all about themselves.

Good result but I really don't trust the O line to protect Josh at all also Tre's season is done with his torn ACL going to make things a lot more difficult now we are without our No1 Corner.

Wouldn’t say we were spectacular yesterday but a comfortable victory nonetheless. Mac just keeps getting better by the game and Kendrick Bourne is really establishing himself in our offense. Little bit of a downer was the way the Titans ran the ball on us without Henry but we corrected it as the game went on.

Obviously the Titans are down to their C squad so can’t really read too much in it but sets up next Monday perfectly now. I think at first glance we should match up quite nicely on the Bills. Really they are built to beat KC and we are almost the polar opposite of them. I think it’s a dangerous game for them if Daboll try’s to beat us through the air which is their usual way so they need to balance it out.

I think the biggest issue will be Offensive line and how well they protect Allen I don't see us changing our playing style and using a heavy dose of run mainly because we are not that good at it feel Beasley and Knox will need big games on Defence hopefully Star is back as we tend to look a lot better against the run with him in it losing White for the year is going to have a knock on our Secondary it will be interesting to see how Jackson steps up.

Seriously it’s time to relegate the Lions and Texans to the Big Ten. In the case of the former the Vikes have played the ultimate please fire our coach game and still the Lions are contriving to lose this.

Happy Lions have finally got there first Win of the year they have been kind of unfortunate with some really close games notably the Ravens which took a record breaking kick

Also the Steelers / Ravens game was really good and really Lamar should of won it just a poor final throw to Andrews for the 2 point conversion.

Seeing the conditions this game is going to be played in this is not going to be some high scoring shootout. Wouldn’t fancy being out there myself. This could favour our running game. Going to be one where each time the snap from the centre makes it to the QB will be an achievement.

Ah, so that will explain why Mac Jones only attempted 3 passes all night. Need to watch the highlights later on today but the Patriots just look complete across the board right now. They've always been solid defensively and the best coached Special Teams team too but are just running it down people's throats right now.

Damien Harris with an average YPC of 11.1 yards is insane.

Aye it was certainly a large part of it. Obviously you wouldn’t go into a game and pre-determine doing that but the way our O-Line beat Buffalo up at the LOS it would be crazy not to have gone away from the run game until they showed they could stop it. I suspect the game at Foxboro in a few weeks we might see a different game plan based more off our play action game so Mac will get his chance on them then.

I think Buffalo should be very concerned about last night. Four of their losses have been to more hard-nosed physical type teams so it’s not a one off. That’s going to be a problem for them come the playoffs. Seeing the way their players were falling out with the media and McDermott seemingly having issues with Daboll I think they are in danger of the wheels coming off.

It's a massive issue Our Run D has been a concern for a couple of years and it's not like we haven't put significant draft capital into the D line the bigger issue is the Offensive line given how bad we are at run blocking and I don't think it is a really new issue we had the same problem last year but we seemed to be better at pass protection I think the Playoffs are a major question mark at this point.

I think you'll still make the playoffs at least. I actually think you are quite nicely built to beat Tampa up next. With their secondary this is a day that will call for Allen to sling it 40-50 times and I think he can do some damage.

As it happens I think Allen came out of Monday night with a fair bit of credit, I thought he made some really nice throws given the conditions. I do think at this point his coaches are a massive question mark. It seemed McDermott was spending more time trying to argue with the officials than make any in game adjustments. And that's not to mention challenging the QB sneak from Mac, you never win them. Daboll being so one dimensional as well has really hurt his stock this year.

I think the thing that should really worry the Bills about the Pats was it wasn't as though there was any hiding what we were trying to do. They pretty much did the equivalent of spamming HB Dive on Madden and the Bills even with a loaded box couldn't do anything.

In theory we should make the Playoffs but the team is massively up and down week to week especially against any team who can run the ball well even if we make the playoffs I only see a one and done kind of situation.

On Allen he has been generally really good even with how suspect the O Line has been all year if we had an average QB we would more than likely be in the Phins / Jets territory.

Caught the final drive before going in to work this morning. I'm not saying this necessarily is the reason the Steelers lost but what the fuck was Claypool playing at letting 10 seconds run off the clock because he wanted to celebrate making a catch? Some of the worst situational football have ever seen. If he played for the Patriots Belichick would cut him for that. Cost the Steelers potentially two more plays to run.

He’s got serious maturity issues, got called for unnecessary roughness on the opening drive too for pushing his hand onto a defensive back’s helmet. Proper diva.

For all of his talent (see incredible grab in the 4th quarter), he’s honestly brain dead when it comes to situational awareness.

Think there’s now sufficient evidence that Urban Meyer is simply not cut out to coach in the NFL. He is going to do some potentially irreparable damage to Lawrence if they don’t move on from him.

Some pretty poor game in this first slate in general.

I think it was expected Meyer was going to be a disaster Jags for whatever reason ignored all his past history on the game we are being bullied in the Trenches by Tampa especially on Offense every play seems to be Allen running for his life.

Excellent 2nd half comeback just fell a bit short still feel we was robbed by the refs not calling pass inteference on Diggs.

I was watching on RedZone up to half time but questions have to be asked about Brian Daboll's playcalling surely - not one hand off to a running back in that first half?

The no call on Diggs at the end of the 4th quarter I'm OK with, where the Bills got hosed was the line judge determining that Leonard Fournette had made the 1st down marker when he's short. 4th and inches in their own territory, Tampa probably punts it rather than scoring the game winning TD a few plays later.
