Yeah the first half play calling was suspect I think it was two fold Bucs depleted Secondary and the team obviously don't trust our run game outside of Allen which is really bad making our Franchise QB run way to much

On the Fournette one yeah it was clear he was short but I would put Money on Brady going QB Sneak on 4th and inches.

In the least surprising news of the year, Urban Meyer is gone from Jacksonville. Who could have seen that coming...?

COVID is also wrecking havoc across the NFL this week, the Browns are down at least 11 starters as I type this ahead of Saturday's critical game vs. the Raiders.

No surprise there especially with what Lambo said to the media about his short time under Meyer it's going to be interesting to see what other things happened no doubt there is more.

Also the home markets have been decided having the Jets and Phins as a part of the U.K market can't be anything worse especially as we didn't even get one while some teams got multiple.

Urban Meyer was an appointment the Jags should never have made in the first place. Was blatantly obvious it was doomed to failure and that was without the Tebow nonsense and the issue of hiring that coach he had to get rid of within 48 hours. The Lambo stuff just made it untenable as I reckon Khan would have tried struggle on otherwise.

The Jags priority now should be development of Lawrence as so far not seen one bit of improvement from him. Would look at Eric Bienimy, Kellen Moore or maybe Byron Leftwich. Unfortunately for him I think Daboll has harmed his chances this season with his unwillingness to balance out the offense. One other name I’d consider would be Jim Caldwell, he’s the last person who got the Lions being competent so no reason he couldn’t do it with this dumpster fire.

Yeah I would agree Daboll has taken a hit on Coaching jobs but I can still see him being desirable largely down to the success of Josh Allen any of the teams looking for a new HC and with a young QB will without doubt look at Daboll.

Yeah I expect he will rightly be considered at least. The improvement of Allen is a tick in the box for him. Maybe for a dome or warm weather team his style could work in his favour.

Think a lot of it will be about what jobs are available in the off-season. Obviously the Jags one is again. Add in at an estimate the Bears, Broncos, Vikings and Seahawks just off hand. All decent opportunities. I think the Texans one might be too but that is a last resort for anyone for the foreseeable future.

That Patriots result last night is what us Bills fans were praying for. We win the East now IF (big if) we win all our games (including vs the Patriots on Boxing Day) from here on in.

So watch us lose to Carolina today now... :err:

I expect Buffalo to win today, the Panthers having no kicker is too much of a handicap for them especially if the Bills can get them in third or fourth and long situations.

Very poor from us last night but we always struggle with that Frank Reich scheme. As it happens though am also somewhat encouraged by the way Mac had us almost mount the comeback in the fourth quarter.

We should beat Panthers the big issue is our O-Line Covid took out two of our starters and they have been suspect in the early plays saying that I am curious to see how Brown does as Left Tackle beat the Panthers and I see the Pats game is a winner takes all situation.

It’s quite sad watching Cam try and throw the ball now. Late on every throw and is wildly off target even on WR screens. Shame as he is a genuinely likeable guy.

Yeah I would agree there Cam has been a personal Fav of mine in his 1st stint with the Panthers but it was clear during his Pats stint he was not the guy he once was I think he should really consider retirement after this year.

I think we were close to being able to draft him an all, back in the day?

p.s. put your hands up for Detroit! what a scoreline unfolding there :hail:

Just googled it you had the third pick that year and took Marcel Dareus who was very good to be fair.

Yep I’m really happy to see Dan Campbell start to get some success. You see some teams that are lousy start to mail it in but they have played hard throughout. Should be in position draft someone like Thibodeaux and I can see them improving quite quickly.

Yeah I think we was picking 3rd that year so we was in a sense close but I doubt Panthers was ever going to move from him saying that it was another disappointing pick compared to who we potentially could have.

That is a fucking awful spot from the officials in that Titans game. He was well short. If this is not overturned it’s a joke.

Edit - came to the right conclusion in the end.

You’d both better hope we shithouse a win against the Chiefs next week too.

There cannot be a team over .500 worse than the Steelers right now but I’m hoping the rest of the division implodes and we make the playoffs that way.

I think you could beat KC to be honest. If Brandon Staley had not just put all his eggs in the analytics basket they'd have been beaten on Thursday so no reason Tomlin couldn't do better than that.

I reckon I'd put you ahead of this version of the Ravens anyway. They'll fade away now this season. The amount of injuries they've had has caught up with them I think and I've not rated their pass D at all this season in any case. Given how Cleveland have not lived up to billing I could see you overhauling them too. Cincy look the obvious call now to win the division to me anyway.

The team to look out for in terms of the wildcard is the Fins. Now at .500 which when I saw them stink the joint out at Tottenham against the Urban Meyer Jags would never have given them a prayer of doing.

I hope you do just because I like it when the Chiefs lose. But I don't think it matters to us really as much as it does the Pats? If we win the East we ain't getting the #1 seeding anyway. If the Pats beat us next week and win the Eas thought, they could get #1.

I’d love to share your optimism but just see an embarrassment on the national stage next Sunday. Yes, the Chiefs offensive line is proper shaky in pass protection but they’ll just run the ball down our throats

All immaterial anyway as all the decent AFC teams are awesome at running the ball so we’d be one and done either way.

Both Wildcard races are looking lively, unfortunately 365 aren’t offering Superbowl XVI winners odds as I’d put some money on San Fran, injury free they’re the most complete team in the NFC IMO.

I’ve punted on the Saints to cover the spread tonight at +11.5. So good after one quarter but that might be wishful thinking.

The Niners are a good call. They are another team who just dominate the trenches.

I think that Saints bet is safe now. What an inspired performance from their D. I know people will say the Bucs lost Fournette, Godwin and Evans but they still have Rojo and Gronk out there. If the Saints had a proper QB they’d have won this by a fifty burger tonight.

An ugly Pick by Carr could cost Raiders the game don't really get why they called a deep shot really no need for it.

Well they got away with it. Teams 4-13 in the AFC are all within a game of one another which I've never seen before so late in the regular season.

This is the big weekend then kieran_vale, a huge game with the season on the line. Me vs you in the fantasy league semi! :ohm:

I need some good numbers tonight from Wilson and Deebo really. Will be hard to recover if they both score badly.

Also need Brady to get around 30 like he did the previous couple of weeks before last and not get 5 like he did against the Saints. Cook getting covid is potentially fortunate for me too coz Mattison has done well every time Cook has been out this season.

All to play for. Good luck mate. :box:

Good luck to yourself too Stagat though one suspects you probably won’t need it against me if history is anything to go by. Every year I have this habit of doing well in the regular season then falling on my face in the playoffs. Think have compared my fantasy play in the past to Peyton Manning and that is why. Getting Leonard Fournette on the IR is just one of them signs.

Will be doing what have done most the season and riding Justin Herbert, Davante Adams and the Pats D. Would love to have faith in Najee Harris but that Steelers O-Line makes it look like he has to run an obstacle course just to get back to the line of scrimmage right now.

We have a few Bills and Pats players in our matchup too. Including each having our own D.

Wilson and Deebo did alright for me tonight. Had no idea what they'd give Deebo for that final play where they were all lateralling it about but he got credit for his 16 yards before throwing it backwards so another 1.6 points ha.

I will probably have set and reset my lineup a couple of times before Sunday particularly at RB with whether I play Stephenson and TE in Hunter Henry. The latter is our big red zone target especially if Bourne is still on the Covid list but then my other TE Kyle Pitts us up against the Lions (as much as I like them with Campbell who is now my favourite non BB coach).

Interesting turn with this Pats and Bills game with Gabriel Davis now out of it due to being on the Covid list alongside Beesley. I think this could be the one that swings the pendulum in our favour as Diggs and Knox are now getting keyed on all game. Be a close game regardless but these are the margins between us.

Bollocks, I hadn't seen that Davis was out until you said. Was hoping for a good game from him. Not surprising he's gone down too though really after Beasley has seeing as Davis was agreeing with his bonehead antivax tweets in the summer. Can't think of any image that embodies people like Beasley more than this tbh:

We have got Sanders back after a couple of weeks out but at this stage in his career I'd rather have Davis playing.

Re. fantasy, I actually got Davis on waivers this week and thought it was even more of a good grab after seeing Beasley was out. But I took him out to put Mattison in the flex position when Cook went down so am even more glad about Cook now (fantasy-wise, hope he's okay IRL of course).

Big blow losing Davis after Beasley but the only fortunate bit is we do have depth I feel at Receiver excited to see if Kumerow, Mckenzie and Stevenson can step up.

Stagat in the end I chickened out with the Pats D. Looked at the matchup the Packers have with the Browns and concluded Baker sucks so can get some turnovers and to be fair he’s lived down to billing in the first half.
