Yeah I think it’s probably about right in terms of when to take one of them though.

We’ve just traded down with KC. I think this indicates we are going with a corner at 29 with Elam, Booth and McDuffie still around.

Edit - scrap McDuffie who KC took. Got a nice haul for this move though.

Yeah I think the Mel Kipers of this world were projecting him as a day 2 pick.

I don’t know how good he is and it may well be the case he goes on to be ten time pro-bowler for all I know. The issue I have is at 21 the likes of McDuffie were still available and in a division which has the likes of Hill, Diggs, Wilson etc we pass on that. A guard with the greatest respect doesn’t move the needle. Sometimes I think BB thinks it’s still 2005 the way the game is played.

Yeah that was my view Pats had a need for a Corner and they had the pick of McDuffie or Elam evan outside that Lloyd at Linebacker was still on the board going Strange is a not great decision

I think the corner position especially you’re absolutely right. How I’d look at it is realistically in the first round you are looking at premium positions which these days are what effects the passing game. In that you’d include WR, OT, ED and CB. The only mitigation for it I can find is with Mac being a QB that largely stays in the pocket you want the interior as strong as possible but our history with the likes of Thuney and Mason shows you can get these guys in the mid rounds.

Obviously at first glance everyone will be lauding the Jets work last night. The actual drafting the players I don’t think has ever been the problem with them though. It’s what they do with them when they get them in the building so unless they sort that side out then we’ll probably be having the same conversation with them repeatedly.

Little bit surprised the Seahawks didn’t take Malik Willis with one of their two second rounders. Both good selections that they made but guess they are punting into next year and go for someone like Stroud.

Just hoping BB goes BPA when he is up and doesn’t get funky with the punter Araiza or someone like that.

Think this just shows how low teams are rating these QB's Thornton is an interesting pick a sub 4.3 guy will be interesting to see how he goes on for the Pats.

Yeah and to be honest I’d be inclined to agree. Wonder if it may get to the point the value is too good to ignore for the Falcons or maybe even the Vikings depending on their Cousins evaluation.

Adds some speed which we didn’t have before. At some point though we need to start looking at speed on D though. Haven’t seen anything we have done this off season that addresses the fact the last time we played a game we failed to make Buffalo even punt once.

Think there is some interesting picks left on Defense in particular Linebackers and also I am kind of surprised Travis Jones who I though was the 2nd best Nose also it is interesting we are accumalating picks trading down with the Bucs and Bengals

That looks a great pick by Buffalo. Rarely go wrong with a Georgia RB.

I know there were question marks on his size but Nakobe Dean still around is a huge surprise. Going to be a steal for someone. Unless there is something all these teams know about him that the rest don’t.

Appears to be the case. Seen one point where he declined surgery on his shoulder to fix the problem and that’s given teams cause for concern.

Sounds like the Panthers are thinking of moving up into the third for a QB. Suspect if they do they’ll have the pick of who they want at this rate.

Ravens took Travis Jones honestly really liking there draft upto yet they have especially upgraded defense.

Yeah they always do have a good draft. Have to say the Texans have done a terrific job. I love the Christian Harris pick for them.

I think at this rate you don’t see any of the other QB’s go until day 3 now barring a Panthers trade and I just don’t think they need to.
