Yep, I like the Niners too. As a franchise I mean.

Now the Chiefs are out though I don't really care who wins the whole thing. Burrow cool, Stafford cool, Jimmy G cool.

I’m begging for the 49ers to win. The Bengals or a Stan Kroenke owned team winning the Super Bowl is like Sophie’s Choice.

Just seeing the crowd at SoFi this is going to be virtually a Niners home game.

Come on Jimmy am rooting for you!

I did think that the Rams would have a better chance than the 9ers of beating the Chiefs in the SB so kinda wanted them to win tonight because of that, despite preferring the 9ers as a team. Had mixed feelings really. But now that don't matter I'm all in on the 9ers to win tonight and again in two weeks.

Great play by Jimmy Ward there to pick off Stafford. Very nervy start by both teams.

Terrible drop by the 9ers D there. Game changer.

Josh McDaniels now the new HC of the Raiders. In theory this is a good landing spot for him as he has an excellent QB so that part of the jigsaw is there already. More worrying for us is Dave Ziegler who was a huge part of our excellent draft this year has gone there as GM. I see that Colbert is stepping down as Steelers GM, I would throw whatever money he’d take to pick us some WR’s as nobody in the organisation at present has a clue on that.

Josh was overall a very successful OC for us even if I think at times he was far too clever for his own good with certain play calls. As for who is next we need someone like Bill O’Brien for me, he has already done some work with Mac before joining Bama and also he knows about using 12 personnel better than Josh did. That was our biggest failure not utilising Jonnu well enough last season. BOB would unlock that.

BOB would be an ideal replacement assuming you can take him away from Bama but it is not an ideal situation for Jones having a new OC going into a crucial 2nd year
As for our new OC looks to be a straight up fight between us and Giants to appoint Dorsey.

That’s true you certainly don’t want to go down the route Miami have done in recent times for example and go through multiple ones each season. Probably done a lot of harm to Tua in itself. With that said the Pats basic offensive scheme has been the same since BB got there whether it was Weis, Josh or BOB calling it.

One to watch now is will Jim Harbaugh make the return to the NFL in Minnesota. I was a huge fan of him in San Fran so this could be an interesting appointment with a division that could be more open from next season depending what happens with Rodgers.

This Brian Flores lawsuit is going to be an absolute killer for the league. Dare I say given many teams hiring practises as well something that is probably overdue.

And that's without mentioning the allegation against Stephen Ross he offerred to give him $100k for every loss in 2019 to tank the season. If that is proven the Fins need the book throwing at them and have first rounders taken off them.

He'll be forced to sell the Dolphins, like Jerry Richardson was with the Panthers if this is found to be true. The allegations of Bill Belichick accidentally texting the wrong Brian and John Elway being hungover for Flores' interview in Denver both made me lol.

I was hoping Flo would come back to NE as our DC but suspect now he’s brought his texts public that will be less likely. Agreed on Ross being forced to sell the team. In all honesty I’ve long since thought it is time for the NFL to move to a draft lottery system like the NBA. Not saying all teams who end up with the #1 pick tank, some like the Jets and Jags just use good old fashioned ineptitude but it’s a reform I think needs to happen.

I don’t know if anyone has been watching any of the Pro-Bowl skills competition but it’s been some good fun. Should probably do it in place of overtime.

Really hope Cincy can do this.

Said this after the Bucs game, what has Sony Michel done to deserve to be relegated to 3rd string RB, Akers has been hopeless since he came back and Michel was on fire last 4 or 5 games of the season. Rams can't run the ball and that is going to make it difficult

Yep that’s why they’re resorting to running plays like that butchered Philly Special.

Missing OBJ in the passing game too. With no Higbee either it’s letting Cincy key on Kupp.

Cincy’s pass protection has reverted to type in the last few series. The LA front getting home at will now. Has to be the priority for Cincy in the off season regardless how the final quarter plays out, only so many of these hits Burrow can keep taking.

DPI was a terrible call and I do feel for the Bengals and really the Bengals need to invest in O line even if I do feel at times Burrow has a tendency to hold onto the ball to long.

Donald getting a ring is something I am kind of happy for

If there is a fire sale for the Seahawks I want us to be in for Tyler Lockett. His route running is exactly what we need to get Mac up to the next level. Will make us passing on my draft favourite Chris Olave more palatable then.

Obviously Denver have shot right up the betting odds but that division is going to be a nightmare next season and would also add if Russ wasn’t happy with the O-Line in Seattle he’s not going to be much happier with Denver’s.

Wentz now traded to Washington. Personally I think he’s a busted flush now but we’ll see. Suppose the next ones to look for Jimmy G and Deshaun Watson. May well see the QB’s in the draft fall a lot.

Afc West is a potential bloodbath each one seems to have a good QB so that could be really interesting to see on the draft for QB's still think there will be teams interested Panthers and Steelers stick out and then there is the question what the Seahawks plan to do with the no9 pick on the Bills I think we will be either be going Interior O-Line or Corner would of loved Jordan Davis but he really blew up the Combine and will be gone long before we are on the Clock. also I think Day 3 we could potentially be in for a back up QB.

Yeah definitely. I think it’s good news for yourselves and Tennessee to be honest as they’ll be taking lumps out of each other so one of you two should be favoured for the #1 seed.

I reckon the Panthers have their sights set on Deshaun assuming his off-field issues can be resolved. It’s really between Malik Willis and Kenny Pickett for who gets drafted first round. My guess is the Steelers take one of them and then maybe the Vikings as don’t think Cousins is long for them. Seahawks I suspect will go with Lock this year with a view to taking Bryce Young in 2023.

Brady is back then. Sucks to be whoever spent half a million dollars on his 'last touchdown ball' a few hours beforehand.

Not really a surprise to me, people were talking about his return the moment he announced his retirement so not sure many were buying it. Brady has basically turned into Brett Favre.

Von Miller for us is a huge signing a major improvement at Edge and can help mentor the younger pass rushers think the numbers are okay for the deal no way he sees the end of the contract though also O J Howard I think is a really good deal for us as TE No2.

Honestly I think the Miller deal is awful. Basically until he had Donald and Floyd drawing attention last season he did virtually nothing last season so think this is a really bad contact Buffalo have agreed. Don’t get me wrong they are odds on favourites for the division as certainly ourselves have belatedly gone into tank mode but this is not a move that puts the Bills over the top in the AFC,

First real head turner of a move by the Raiders trading for Davante Adams. That divisions arms race is just ridiculous.

I don't think the contract is that bad seems in line with veteran Elite pass rusher as the contract we gave Von Miller is essentially $53m 3 year deal after that it is voidable which is similar to what Jones got this Off season Personally I feel it's a big upgrade at edge compared to what we have had before as we have seriously struggled to get after the QB
