That was brilliant, was really willing him in to the end zone. Was like running in quick sand at the end.

Absolute shambles this is. Most un-Patriot performance I can remember, even worse than Kansas last year.

Raiders defeated now, 34-20 with a couple of minutes left, scoreline is a little flattering, Raiders shot themselves in the foot a couple of times along the way, all about the W though.

Don't do this, don't make me think we may have a shot at this.

Saints v Panthers game was superb viewing. 5 lead changes, Saints gave it everything and ran the Panthers really close.

I'm pleased the Pats fought to the end but truth is against a horrible team like Philly have been lately it should never have come to that. That 3rd quarter was one of the greatest examples of a team getting in it's own way and we paid the price. The D actually played really well but you can't have some of the sort of fuck ups on Special Teams like we did and get away with it.

Overall while it's no concern in terms of getting to the post season if this team are to do anything in it then they really need a bye with all these injuries if not home field advantage throughout. Problem is there is not much room for error now. Houston on SNF next week is a huge game for us.

One small consolation I've at least won my fantasy match-up this week I guess

Today has been nuts. Alas, best football we've played all season and we lose it to the Panthers. No shame but all eyes on the Tankathon now for us!

Oh and I hate Brandon Browner, like seriously hate him, he needs to be thrown into the Mississippi.

Manziel would have lost just as badly to the Bengals yesterday. Pettine is gone on Black Monday.

Yeah I agree, just the timing of it made me chuckle.

The day after a beating the headline is 'Manziel's punishment over'. Browns fans must be wondering when theirs is up.

Bad teams, zero offense, over officious zebras, a domestic violence specialist and a racist nickname. This is a Monday night party right here.

Desean Jackson with the dumbest fucking play I have seen in quite some time. Might get away with it on this review, mind you.

Well, he didn't get away with it. But then he did because the Cowboys remain incapable of playing situational football or covering a kick off without giving away a penalty. Oy fucking vey.

> And Dan Bailey saves the day. MNF as produced by Mack Sennett.

Rams fire their OC. Not entirely surprising, this is the first time in a while they've had quite possibly a very good skill position focal point in Gurley, and the regression the last few games has been stark. Fisher is probably sitting uncomfortably.

I hope Pettine lands somewhere decent, and gets another HC role in the future, would any coach in the league succeed there with the GM/drafts/mess that's there almost every year?

So it seems Lacy missed curfew with Alonzo Harris on the night before the Lions game, hence Harris being cut (not even back on the practice squad), Crockett getting carries and Lacy barely in for a snap. Not looking good for him. He's such a difference maker when he's fit and not distracted.

I hope Jeff Fisher gets fired, has he ever coached a team with a good offence? He just wants to play how they did in the 60's. They have drafted horribly and whilst they have a potential All-Pro in Gurley, they have nothing else beyond a few trick plays with Tavon Austin.

It's not hard for DCs to put 9 men in the box against Gurley and dare a putrid receiving corps to get separation and then catch passes from one of the most inaccurate quarterbacks we'll ever see. The dominoes will fall in St. Louis, hopefully they move to L.A. under new management and bring those lovely old jerseys back.

Thank God, considering we had scored 10 points combined in the last two games gaining hardly any yardage it's about time this happened. Gurley couldn't do a thing as all teams did was the box against us.

Must largely be an o-line issue too right? I know Foles and the WRs aren't near being good, but there are/have been good RBs getting good numbers even with a loaded box because of a poor passing game.

For sure, they've had a brutal offensive line for years. Fisher drafted offensive linemen with four or five of his draft picks this year as well as Gurley, which was fucking insane and they still can barely block. He and Les Snead should be fired for that alone.

Exacly, bar Tavon and Gurley we have barely a thread on our offense but hopefully it will improve somewhat now. Hopefully Fisher goes too, that would see an improvement for sure.

Ingram on IR.

Saints surely heading for a clean out in the summer. Cap is a mess, and not a good team for it either. Surely if Payton wants to stay they won't forcibly move him on but with Brees' being 37 in 2016...

WHY DOES GOD HATE MY FANTASY TEAM SO MUCH

giphy.gif
Terrible season for injured starting RB's. Bell, Foster, Charles, Forsett, Ingram...

...then there are Lacy, Randle, Murray, Anderson with their issues...

Payton has a get out clause apparently due to a legal wrangle involving our owner Tom Benson and his estranged daughter. I don't know the full details but the clause is if there's a change in ownership Payton can leave for free. As it stands we'll only be about $5 million over the cap but we'll get round it. Ideally we'll restructure Drew Brees contract given he's in the last year of a $19 million a year deal (plus he's still putting up good numbers unlike Peyton) Payton will probably leave because he's open to other opportunities and we'll probably look to get some high earners off the books and take less of a cap hit. Drafts are crucial for us now for the next two years if we're to become competitive again. I expect us to have another woeful season next year and take advantage of the high draft picks in order to improve our awful overpaid secondary.

Hello, Vikings fan.

Another game last night that typified where we are as a team, so close but so far. I think Arizona are a good benchmark actually, we're about where they were 2 years ago overall (with obvious offsetting differences on offense). There's still plenty of upward trajectory in this team, but the games against Green Bay and Seattle in particular have highlighted that we're not quite there yet. Part of the problem is Norv Turner, Teddy is being held back far too much and isn't being allowed to play as well as he is capable of doing so, and Diggs seems to have been sussed out now teams have some tape on him so we still really need to find a top receiver.

We should still make the playoffs this year but I think we've missed our chance to win the division now, so the question is whether we can do enough to finish ahead of the Seahawks in the #5 slot and get the NFC East winners rather than Green Bay, where I wouldn't really fancy our chances. Getting to the divisional round this year would be a great achievement, and barring any significant long-term injuries should be looking to get 12+ wins next season, if the passing game is allowed off the leash a little bit, which it'll have to be because Adrian Peterson won't be around forever and then it's more than likely we're going to have to throw the football a lot more.
