Given trades are finished in the fantasy league, thought it might be fun to see how your trades turned out:

Roethlisberger, Gore and a Wilson (loan) out ... Rodgers in; I don't think either side really 'won' in the end. Gore's form fell off, Wilson was 'on loan' before his last few weeks of form really started, and Roethlisberger was injured at the time of the trade/has had another injury. Meanwhile I had Rodgers just as our bad form started and the passing hasn't hit the heights of seasons past.

Michael Floyd out ... Patriots in; much of a muchness really, Floyd was trade bait to get an extra half-decent D given I chop/change most weeks.

Richard Rodgers out ... Delanie Walker in; traded just so I could cover Eifert's bye week.

Only made the one and it did the trick in one game but nothing earth shattering.

Happy I've got the leagues highest scorer anyway and probably would have topped the regular season if I didn't keep losing to everyone at the bottom. At least I've got a chance to repeat last years title anyway.

LeGarrette Blount out for the season for the Pats. Another bad injury blow for them.

With Blount I was actually quite surprised to see he averaged over 4 yards a carry for us when it felt like he never went for more than two or three most the time. It's a loss but with our unsettled O-Line whoever is at RB can't expect to get huge production so it's not that insurmountable. I know we've brought in Montee Ball (practice squad initially), hope for his sake he's resolved his fumbling issues as I can't see him lasting long with BB otherwise.

Losing Dominique Easley on the other hand is huge. He has been such a disruptive force on our D-Line this year and will be missed a lot down the stretch. Poor guy can't seem to catch a break injury-wise. Had two ACL injuries in college and then went to IR last year also.

Renegade, you were just ahead of me for Boswell :D

Will be interesting to see if he's the difference between our teams come game day...

Had plenty of offers for Gronk but not enough to tempt me. Had one offer of Peyton for Rivers which I also turned down. In the end I didn't make any trades but made a lot of waiver claims.

Finished 6-8 in the end which I am reasonably happy with, given I lost 6 games in a row at one point. Hopefully next year I won't get the last pick in the draft, otherwise that'll make it 4 years in a row of last picks.

I think we chatted a Gronk move at some point, think it was Eifert and Gore? I was hawking out Gore to so many people...

Looking at the draft, I was glad to pick 11th. All the big RBs had gone by that point (and then so many of them got injured/had little form) - so it was either overdraft an RB2 or go for WR which I ended up getting two of with #11 and #14. Although the regular philosophy seems to be get your RBs sorted early, I actually think being able to have Calvin and Beckham locked in every week meant I had more roster spots to scoop up prospective and waiver RBs, which I found easier to get reliable points from compared to waiver/3rd string WRs.

That's the third Seahawks RB signed on 1FF waivers/FA in one day.

so what do we think, Sunday's game the last NFL game at Qualcomm? I read another piece that said the 3 teams (Raiders, Rams and Chargers) who have been muted to move to L.A had to give presentations to an owners meeting giving reasons as to why their teams shouldn't be going to L.A and all of them failed to convince anyone they should be staying put.
I can't remember how many teams start in L.A next season - I think just one but with two going overall I still think the Rams and Chargers are most likely.

As a UK Chargers fan who has never been to the Q, it's hard for me to get too angry given that it's been on the cards for a long time. Having said that, I don't want them to move though, and I'm not sure moving to LA will help reinvigorate the franchise.

Sadly it appears that the politicians in SD haven't helped the situation, nor have the fans with their lack of support in SD the last few years, but reading the blogs it appears that the move has played a big part in that.

What are the odds that San Diego gets another NFL franchise in the next 15 years?

Entirely contingent on some billionaire getting a shiny new stadium at a massive publicly funded discount.

I will continue to be a Chargers fan as long as they're called the Chargers. If they suddenly become the LA Lightning, I'm not sure to be honest.

Not sure I could've really gotten behind a Toronto Bills had that happened.

So not dissimilar to how the Toronto public felt once a season, I suppose.

Difference is they're still in Southern California. Had they moved to Alabama for example...

Not having any attachment to an American city, I don't think it would bother me that much if a team I supported (I have teams I favour, but can't say I support a certain team) moved as long as they keep the players I had been supporting for x amount of years. So if I was a Chargers fan, I think I would still stick behind them as long as they had players like Phil Rivers and Keenan Allen. Two of the most fun players in the league to watch in my view.

Then again, there are a few teams that I feel would be completely ruined if they moved city. The storied franchises of the NFL like the Packers, Cowboys, 49ers and even the Raiders just wouldn't feel right in another city. I hope the Chargers stay in San Diego though, because the L.A Chargers sounds terrible and I want the Rams to go back to where they belong.

Next year seems too soon for me, surely not enough time for it all to be agreed and logistically moving a team. According to Andrew Brandt there are blockers to clear on all three teams routes to LA.like too.

I know it's the norm in the NFL, but i find it pretty bad the very idea of billion dollar companies wanting public funded stadiums.

Yes, but American football is a socialist paradise. I know because fifteen dozen British broadsheet think pieces pondering the ills of English football told me so.

Ahem.... :dis:

I can only assume that the Chargers would share the Coliseum with USC, were they to move to LA?

Already enjoying this game and it aint even kicked off yet. Nantz and Simms have the night off for Ian Eagle and Trent Green :2thumb:

Potentially the Rams last ever game in St Louis coming up.

Fuck me - those Rams color rush jerseys :conf:

It's a mental exercise I've done me sen before. I have far more teams who should never move than I have those who could. And a few mayyybbeees too. But it's all subjective ofc.

Not really a surprise but this crowd looks sparse. Almost feels like a pre-season type game.

Impressive couple of runs from Gurley. One of the great things about him is the way he picks up yards after contact. Also pleased to see Case Keenum get an extended run, I rate him as a QB ever since when he was in Houston.

I'm conflicted watching this game. I pretty much have the same core as jimbob in the league I care about (Gurley and Beckham) so I'm going to get screwed in one of my leagues this week for sure. Hopefully it's the 1FF one, jimbob can't gloat in person if I lose.

Jerome Boger has the most camp voice.

Aye pure dominance from him.

Typical TNF game really. Rams have looked good. Keenum done a great job controlling the offense and Gurley has been pretty good too, did a great job to reach across the line on that third TD.

Bucs just not been allowed to get anything going. Jameis has looked very off in terms of his accuracy.
