The Raiders have got to be wondering what's gone on, reading the previous statements it was either - Chargers move to L.A within the year or don't. Then the Raiders get to decide if they want to go to L.A.
Now we have the Chargers saying they have an agreement with the Rams that they'll stay in San Diego but if it doesn't work out they'll join them in the new stadium in 2019. It hasn't been working out in San Diego for 40+ years (market wise) what makes them think the next 3 years will be different.
Raiders to Vegas would be quite simply stunning, wonder if they'd consider Mexico as well?

Looks like Megatron may well be retiring, has been reported by Adam Schefter so got to think it's legit. I'm very surprised he's actually chosen to do this. Know there were murmurings about it but thought it may have been leverage to get a trade to a contender or something like that. Surefire hall of famer, injuries maybe caught up with him the last couple of years but that's a huge hole for the Lions to fill if he goes through with it.

He was never going to be traded, said as much himself. It's retirement or Detroit. One the of the best WRs in the NFL ever to say he'll be missed is an understatement. It seems legit sadly, just awaiting official confirmation. Just like Barry my favourite Lions player retires and once again I'll own all ex-Lions player jerseys! Better get an Ansah one I suppose, or play it even safer and get Mulbach.
The positive is of course the cap saving, it's just propelled the Lions into a team with an absolute load of free space so how it and the draft are used is now going to be interesting. Don't know much about the free agents at OT, DT or SS but if there is anyone good, even on big money they are now on the Lions radar. The draft pick may well be used on a WR, which would be so Lions even with a new GM.

I don't think any HC can. O'Brien would be mad to consider going from Hoyer and Mallett to Manziel.

Would anyone even take him as a backup? It's not even as if there are real signs of genuine talent to be found under the surface if he bucks up his ideas.

I enjoy JFF schadenfreude as much as the next fellow, but the pattern of behaviour is starting to look like a guy with a problem more serious than common or garden numpty-itis.
