How come your squad seems quite large? We have 26 of which two are recovering from long term injury, and one has just been sent out on loan. Yet you have 31 listed, I cannot imagine your crowds are bigger than ours. Lots of kids? Good first eleven, poor after that?

It's what we can afford.

If you lot have an injury crisis, there are no emergency loans any more to pull you out of the mire, and would have to result from picking youth players to cover the bench.

While clubs with smaller squads do that, our larger squad should be able to take advantage (on paper). However this is Football so anything can happen

He's a good prospect ....you can't keep bringing in loans and has beens ....perhaps there's a case of bringing him off after 70 mins or so and using one of our loans and has beens

Yes. Lots of young 'uns. The idea is to do a Crewe and make some money off a prodigy. If I'm right we have three out on loan at the moment. The first team squad is 18 or so.

Cheers, that makes sense. I know we all need bigger squads this year, but I was struggling to see how you could afford more players than us on, I assume, modest income. But going for the younger ones is the sensible option (the other is madness as we know to our cost). I sometimes wish we would make more use of youngsters.

Would've snapped your hand off for a draw before the game, but after seeing that penalty decision and the highlights, I am devastated we didn't bring home the 3 points. Felt more like a defeat.

Don't think we've had a decent ref yet this season - all seem well out of their depth.
